    Chapter 53

I agree ! And I'm sure Graeme will appreciate the compliment to his writing skills once he discovers your comment.
  2. This article resolved a mystery for me. Thanks.
  3. Let's hope the security cameras did not catch their names in the shopping mall. I never thought about it being a mistake, but Mort was absolutely right. I'm so relieved they met him and he's taken them under his wing.

    Chapter 37

It sort of figures it was Ollie who came up with a scheme to get Neil and Liam to dance. And I'm sure Neil will eventually appreciate the photos of them kissing.

    Chapter 26

Do I get to gloat over this comment from book 2?

    Chapter 24

so funny to see you doing this reply to someone else.
  7. Yeah, me too. I'm waiting a bit to see if the List of Will's sex partners needs to be updated with more than a hand job, but Dillon seems to be no more than a random distraction from Zach.

    Chapter 14

In Denmark we do not think the treaty Whitworth got us to sign was an advantage for our country. And I bet that treaty is a major reason why Granger will be allowed to sail into the Baltic without having the Danish ships firing at him.
  9. I wonder what Arnold will do now.

    Unpleasantness

Nah, no need to skip chapters, unless you're gonna kill some of our heroes.

    Unpleasantness

I'm torn between feeling pity for Adele and shaking my head at her stupid behavior. She and her husband paid the price, but so did everyone else. Poor Jacob.

    Cold

I'm glad to see Andy being gently affectionate and the amazing effect on Eric. Sometimes it's the smallest things which matter most. Andy did well in all of his efforts, although he should talk to Eric about heating and find out why it's kept on low. i'm very pleased Eric heard Andy scolding the vandals, they'll be able to make a strategy about them later, so Eric can feel safer.
  13. I particularly like him for being calm, rational, kind and clever.
  14. What a wonderful compliment. I'm glad you found the info stuff interesting. If you want you can visit the story discussion topic and see pictures. He, he, yes it's another case of Much Ado about Nothing. for reading and commenting.
  15. I love seeing them all together and being protective and caring of each other. I think Pax is my favorite.

    On the Run

I think the five men are being clever and rational in understanding they need to focus on survival and the team. They already struck JECHIS a hard blow, and they're like soldier refugees in enemy land. 'He who hides and runs away, lives to strike another day.' Or whatever the saying is.
  17. Thank you, Rigby. You make some excellent points about why we as readers enjoy stories. I'd never thought of it quite that way, but you're absolutely right. I'm glad you like Frankie, he quickly became a favorite character for me too. Yeah, uhm, I'm terrible at getting my longer stories wrapped up, and what's worse, I'm hardly getting any chapters written at the moment. You might want to stick with my few short stories, or else be prepared to be patient. Thanks for the edit, my Danish background trips me up repeatedly in spite of the valiant efforts of my editors. And this story didn't have an editor.

    In Conference

Don't we all love to see arrogant lawyers get their come-uppance? And this was much better for Andy too, who certainly does not need to be dragged through a long and public trial. But let's hope someone leaks the fact Ray admitted to sexual assault of a minor so he can get what he deserves in prison.
  19. I can never think of anything to ask, but I very much enjoy reading the answers to other people's clever questions.
  20. The three hours dragged along, but Michael’s dads did their best to keep each other from worrying. Patrick told stories about his parents, and Peter shared memories of good times with his son. A nurse and a ward orderly, both male, came by to meet Patrick. He finally understood Peter’s comment about being jealous if the staff were younger, because the nurse was a forty-something handsome man, who pinged his gaydar nicely and transmitted a pleasant vibe when they shook hands. The other man w

    Plans

Miguel seems to be a clever guy. I hope opening night will be a blast.

    Disintegration

There was a recent study about ethics and empathy in children. It turned out that children of parents who said they were not religious had a higher standard of kindness and morals than children of parents who identified as Christians or Moslems. (The number of parents with other religions were too small to give statistically significant results.) The really interesting result was that the religious parents were convinced their children were 'better' in this respect than the subsequent tests revealed. The researchers speculated that the reason was that religious parents assumed having faith was enough to ensure morality, whereas the non-religious parents made efforts to teach their children to be nice.

    Chapter XXVIII

Hmm, so the family know and approve, and they're shacking each other brains out. Is that the end of the story, or is there more to come ? i still think they need to have a few conversations before they commit for life.
  24. I just saw this story about naturalist swimming on BBC. People and their bigoted suspicious minds.
  25. Loyal, but grumpy workers are the same all over the world, lol. I loved the idea of selling weather.
