My main problem with guessing is I edited two of the stories, so I shouldn't guess on those. Or at least, it doesn't count, if I do.

If they write reviews for all the other stories. the authors should leave reviews on their own too, because otherwise it's too easy to guess. I did it in the two contests last year.

Interesting start and potential for a lot of fun. Two questions: Why does Cooper ask what they call Corporal Lock, when he's already heard Spoon call him Bolt? And shouldn't Lock know he's a lefty if he caught his fist - although I guess the Cadet can use both to hit?

I'm trying to guess which ones you mean, but I'm failing. I didn't like all of them the same, but I don't think I could have told so from the genre or description.

I hope Dom takes his anger out on his slimeball lawyer, and he really is gone from St.John's life forever. Hopefully, seeing his ex has powerful friends who stand up for him will be enough to scare the idiot away. Loved Johnny's thoughts about Bobby and their relationship. Fingers crossed it will work out. He and we can take anything else you throw at him, but not losing Bobby. Please let them have some happiness.

I prefer for you to leave the story the way it is. This was Ryan's tale and we lived it with him, felt his pain and confusion. Erik was a enigma to Ryan, so he should stay that way. BUT - having said that, I still think you should write those scenes, but use them in the sequel. I'm sure Erik will be reliving his memories many times as he regrets losing Ryan, so we can take up the thread there. It was good to see Ryan being in a better place mentally at the start of his visit, and I agree he needs to be away from New York to achieve this permanently. But Erik will graduate at some point, and he can find Ryan (or he could if he'd been smart enough to get his address, but perhaps Ryan will keep his email). I look forward to reading the sequel. Take your time and don't let the hungry birds stress you.

Jayce must have felt either very insecure or very convinced about Andy's regard to play such a foolish joke. I mean, after the shock of thinking Jayce was a woman, any guy would seem wonderful. I think I would have forgiven the jesters if they had ended it sooner, rather than let Andy suffer such anguish. On the other hand, Jayce can now spend the rest of his life making up for this start - or perhaps worrying on every anniversary how Andy will prank him this time. But it's a good lesson on how you should always start out with Skype before you met up IRL.

I would have liked his decision better if he had tried to stand up for the teens as his normal meek self and only switched to his hero version when they attacked him. Now where will he and Andy go in order to hide?

Ray may be a hit man and a bad guy, but I can't fault him for killing those people who tried to set him up. Morgan shouldn't have tried to double-cross Ray, and I'm surprised he was stupid enough to try, even if he was lying about loving Ray. Cheating on your boyfriend when he's a hitman is a nasty way of committing suicide.

You managed to do two contests in one: Valentine's Day of last year and this year's April Fool. Interestingly, I at first assumed Peter had ADHD with some mental retardation, but that may be because I've met few people with Downs, but a fair number of kids with other mental handicaps. I enjoyed all the details of their classes and how Peter had a realistic view about himself and his world. I liked Peter managing to rebuke both the inconsiderate and inattentive aide and his teacher, who was otherwise clever and compassionate. And Evan was certainly both a wonderful cousin and a kind-hearted friend.

Not one, but two clever tricksters! I hope they don't push each other to escalate the pranks, but rather spend their time on some private fun.

LOL, I was expecting a gun, but taking him to court and exposing Franco the Fraud is much better. The media are going to love it, and the publishers will fight to snap him up.

I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, lol, since the mix-up was no surprise. I was so pleased Oliver's talk was a success, even if I feel sorry for the teachers who had to listen to the dud. Perhaps Oliver can offer to give his talk next year for free? And cheers for Martin who knew a good deal when he saw it, and managed to find Oliver. I bet he won't have to argue too much to get him to return to San Franscisco.

This story reminds me of why I 'm not fond of April Fool's Day. I'm glad he finally found a friend and boyfriend who didn't trick him on his birthday, and who tried to protect him from family tricks too. But it was funny how he double-fooled them in the first scene, telling them the truth about being gay.

You're absolutely right, my Swedish friend; it really makes me too. Ryan's teasing should have evoked no more rebuke than if Jordan had a girlfriend visiting without permission. But now the cousins have both apologized for their mistakes, things'll hopefully get better.

Thanks, Gary, I love how Rob the Knight strikes a cord with you, since most of your stories are filled with heroes and guys with big hearts. I like having one story where I can indulge in some fun.

Selv tak, min ven. I wanted to try the prompt from two weeks ago, since no one else had at the time. And Ryan's reveal in an earlier chapter was sort of hanging loose. It was fun to do a completely different POV of Rob, but now I'm getting demands for Jasper's POV. Then it'll be Trevor, and the next thing I know, I'll have as many different POVs as you do in Jay & Miles. How do you keep it all straight? uhmm, I mean... Rob seems to be able to pull off a lot of crazy stunts, including getting their parents to let Eric have a sleep-over with Nelson. I'm surprised no one has demanded to know how that went.

LOL, Lit, I guess tenacious is a nicer term than persistent bastard. It was fun to show Rob from Ryan's POV, so I'm glad you liked it. Ryan was almost as badly hurt from his mistake as his cousin and the boyfriend. He may scoff at Rob's crazy idea about talking to heal, but he needed it desperately. Mostly with his cousin, but also with his friends, in order to get some perspective, since the rest of his family played ostriches.

Thanks, Drew, I'm glad you liked the unexpected POV. Ryan was always a guy with a quick wit and a cutting tongue, but it went overboard when his anger got worse. But yeah, it was sort of fun to render Rob speechless.
