  1. So many Awakenings here, I almost had to make a list, while I was reading. Tobyn becoming aware of Sybil having lived without her mate for so long, and Kellar waking regularly during the night to check on Arthur. Arthur waking up physically - and much sooner than Kellar expected, then becoming aware of having his speech back and his knee pains gone. Of course, even more important is Arthur's memories surfacing, of his name, Sybils' name, how he got injured - even if his recollection are bits and pieces. In fact, a lot of lives fell into pieces due to those evil hunters. Sybil's, Arthur's, the relatives, friends and future mates of those two young shifters killed that night. The most shocking Awakening is that of Arthur's wolf as the full memory of Sybil hits the man. Delia saying Kellar and Tobyn should 'head out' probably triggered the memory of Arthur meaning to leave for Morningstar and his intended earth mate. In a way I wasn't too surprised at the wolf's appearance, because he's been trapped for 78 years and must be desperate to smell and touch his mate. Kellar gave Arthur a way of putting all the pieces together and reclaim his life, and it's no wonder the shifter is eager to make up for lost time. I bet Delia will spread the news to Vega, and hopefully it will inspire them. After all, the pack's life has been falling to pieces for years too, and they need to do something active and determined about it, just like Arthur wants to. Him insisting on leaving with Kellar and Tobyn asap may be the final break in the dam of resistance and they'll experience their own awakening.

    Chapter 42

Great idea with the school for deaf (and blind) kids. They never rest, eh. Oh and it's perimeter not parameter, when the guards walk the edge of the property.
  3. Attraction, friendship, crushes and love know neither age nor gender when they happen to you. But you need to be able to see the open hand when it's offered to you. Great story, Gary.

    March 2015

Nice to get a glimpse of Colt and Tony.
  5. Just a bit of male teen posturing and competition, nothing wrong with that. Declan needs to stand up to Chris and tell him he was in the wrong and should shut the fuck up, if he tries anything on. As for Bailey being good at push ups, it stands to reason it's easier for a skinny guy who has much less weight to lift with the same number of muscles, even if they are not as developed. And gymnasts have very strong arms, backs and legs.

    Chapter 7

With a bit of luck Elena will tell Alek about seeing Liam with Nathan, and her brother will either give up or get a move on with coming out to his family. What I want to know is whether any of the siblings ever contacted the cousin who got thrown out? If he was still alive...
  7. George Granger is a favorite character for me because the combines cleverness with modesty and the ability to use his resources to solve the problems he encounters.
  8. You're welcome - and for lending me your CC characters.
  9. The Bridgemont series brought back the pleasures of reading the Hornblower books when I was a kid, but of course there are so many more aspects in this GA story.
  10. Another potential GSA recruit? And that ups my count to three spinoffs! ;-) A Gay musical friend of mine used to get confused about the name of Iomega’s larger capacity companion to their Zip Drive from the mid-‘90s: the Jaz Drive. He kept calling it the Jiz Drive – he wondered why Iomega would choose a name like that! Sigh, yes Ryan seems to be another potential GSA member - they do have to have a few straight people, right? But no spin-off No, no absolutely not ! Or at least not till I've run out of incomplete stories.
  11. LOL, there's no Angel to Rob's Imp in this story, Jasper is too full of mischief to qualify. Maybe I shall aim for chapter 100 to be the After-Prom fun?

    Big Day Today

Don't know why I never managed to leave a review for this chapter. Anyway, I've enjoyed reading the whole story again, and this time around I remembered to press the like button. Zupan and Zander are perfect together, they appreciate each other and bring out the best in the men they are. Zander gets the devotion and love he needs to flourish and feel confident, and Zupan gets happiness and direction in his private life, too, and they both gets plenty of great sex. What more can you ask for. I loved how Zupan's wardrobe got subtly nicer but with plenty of relaxed and sporty stuff too. In return, Zupan takes pride in looking good for his man including wearing sexy underwear, lol.

    558 - Eggs

Ohh, I loved this. He laid eggs. And of course Jakhe would worry about not being able to have sex all over the house. I was interested to see he could have fun with other demons without Sitka being present. The boy has come a long way from the time he was recruited by demons.

    Chapter 51

Mitchnip They are so cute together, I love this story, it makes me smile. Oh, and I'm pleased to see they did remember lots of sunscreen.

    Chapter 43

I hope Will remembered to bring lube and condoms as well.

    Chapter 8

I hate morning people who chatter at me before I'm awake. And Erik makes me when he keeps nagging Ryan about watching the scene. WTF, dude, will you lay off ! Ryan said no, so respect his limits. Oh and Amanda is still an annoying B.... who doesn't know the meaning of No either You'd expect a woman to respect the right so say No to unwelcome propositions. Ryan's instincts about his relationship with Erik are spot on, including the danger of getting himself involved in the guy's normal life. That's something for a friend or a boyfriend, and right now Erik is neither. But both of them suck at making rational conclusions about what is happening, which I guess is understandable considering the short time they've know each other.

    Chapter 7

Yeah, uhm that was hot. it will be another huge hit with the fans, I guess. But Ryan is still vulnerable, and bottoming from the top did nothing to change that. I wonder what Erik will do next to persuade him to shoot more scenes. How far will he go before the push and the pull tears Ryan apart?

    Chapter 6

Hmm, I guess that didn't go too bad. Erik did at least try to relate to Ryan and to understand his reluctance to do more scenes. But I got annoyed with him for dismissing Ryan's comment about not wanting to be a legend. Erik may love the fame and attention, but not everyone likes that.
  20. Don't know how I missed this one before. Thank you to Kitt for directing me here. Now the big question is whether James remembers all of it afterwards.
  21. I know you contemplated calling this chapter Resurrection, but I think A Time of Rebirth fits well, too. Perhaps even better, in fact. Because it's not only Sybil's mate Arthur who has been given his life back, although that was of course the most spectacular and unexpected outcome of Kellar's most recent miracle. No wonder here was a connection prompting him to initiate a healing as soon as he could. Anyway, resurrection, as in bringing back the dead, sounds less hopeful and bright than rebirth. The other rebirths I'm thinking of are not only Vega pack's future but in fact the hopes of all shifters. Oh and of course bringing Fendral back as human. I know it hasn't happened yet, but the talk Tobyn and Kellar had, instills hope of new life. Their reasoning about the hunters and the connection Delia could make to the past as well as the connection to the weird talk of the Reznicks, and the idea of connecting names to people seen to stalk pack territories, all make brilliant sense. Tobyn's point about a network connecting all the packs was a good one too, in addition to the exchange of earth mates which they hope to accomplish. If the boys pull everything off including hunting down the hunters for good, all shifters will be convinced Kellar is the Savior Wolf reborn. But there are more Connections: A lot of Kellar's healing of Arthur was about connecting those broken strands. The burnt umber loop was as important as he surmised, and the connection to copper became even clearer. Will Kellar find other metals or minerals to use together with plants in his healing? Even if his connection with Tobyn means Kellar can do healing without the tea, I think he shouldn't stop using those remedies. What if he needs to spread his healing over more people? Using the connections between color and plants is a clever way of enhancing his skill, and he can ask other shifters to collect and prepare the ingredients. I think Adelin and Tilly might enjoy that kind of work. Did I get all the connections? There's Clarence calling Elinor, Delia liking green eyes like Hutch has, the new (old) earth mate connection between Morningstar and Vega, and of course the way our boys connect via jokes and banter. The pillow promise had me and the rubbing off made me

I like CJ's attitude about posting on Facebook.
  23. Did any of the reviewed authors or the other stories get new readers or comments? Or was this special review in vain?
  24. I can see it now. Nelson cuts his hair and gets a manbun* – the only men’s hairstyle worse than the ponytail on a balding guy! ;-) *Even Legolas looks stupid with a manbun! No man buns ! A pony tail to keep the hair manageable, but that's it. However, as long as Erik likes Nelson's long hair it's gonna stay. Although it may not last all through college, but I intend to finish this story before they get that far.
  25. Well, a good story can never be told too many times. And now you remind me I used the ice cream licking trick in CC too.
