  1. Tak min ven, I'm happy to have you eager for more. Yes, Rob is probably due for an appearance soon. I hope you'll be pleased to know Angela and Imp will feature in my Anthology contribution. There're more cousins coming but first we have to get past Michael's stay in hospital. Until then I'm on the subject - or almost.
  2. Thanks, Def, I'm glad the family warmth resonated with you. I think all my readers are rooting for Michael.
  3. Maybe confront the voice: "And what did you ever do to help me improve? Nothing - in fact you're doing the opposite. How about not throwing stones when you live in a glass house yourself." Ignoring the voice is good too, by whatever means you can device. Come here and talk to us, we think you're a great guy with lots to offer and you certainly deserves a wonderful life.

    Fawn

Ha, ha, drought, try sending Puppillul some pics like that, and she'll be distracted too. Or maybe not... It's cool in a funny way to see Joel nudge Mason along when I recall how shy he was about getting together with Lucas. The man had to practically molest Joel first. And when it came to saying what he likes in bed... At least Lucas was a little less oblivious then. I wanted to smack him too for being superficial again.
  5. Summer is the best time for motor cycle stories, anyway. Although the season has just started here, since a lot of people only take out insurance from March till October.
  6. Snowflake's instincts are good. Brian was right about there being nothing wrong with dreaming, but they shouldn't have tried to make the dream into reality. But I'm not despairing, because their love is strong and Brian will follow his Snowflake and melt him again. Love conquers all.
  7. Tuesday morning was a lot more relaxed; they enjoyed a leisurely breakfast before Patrick went to his shop around ten. He had asked Peter if he wanted him to stay, but they decided it would be better for Michael to have the full focus of his dad and have only Danish spoken for a while, before he had to deal with a mainly English environment at the hospital. In addition, Patrick needed the distraction of work to take his mind of the meeting with Fiona as well as Michael’s impending surgery.

    Chapter 1

Wow, a patient, almost kind demon for a polite, but confused boy, that's a new combination. I wonder how long the promise of 'not hurting' will last. It helped that Su enjoyed and applied himself to the task with single-minded focus. I think demons like devotion like that.
  9. The title of the chapter not only applies to the way Kellar uses the words of the prophecy to influence Vega pack. It happened to him too, with the help of Tobyn. A light shone into his heart and mind, letting him understand and accept his destiny. In fact, those two has been shining lights in each other's lives since they met. Tobyn had it happen to him when he was confronted with his destiny as Kellar's earth mate. He struggled with it and against it for a short while, but in the end he let his new destiny, the one ordained by the earth mother, take over his life. And when shifters do that, the earth mother rewards them. Kellar accepted her plans and helped his brother Warren met his destiny in the shape of Adelin. I still love the moment the two brothers met at the train station and the darkness of how they thought of each other got chased away. The rewards followed soon, with the copper protection and the killing of the hunter. Logan's and Arthur's minds were in the dark and their destiny was put on hold, but Kellar brought light into their brains, literally with the blue sparks. He was the savior of them both. Kellar is the reason shifters have a new destiny, a different one from extinction due to the Malaise. The good destiny the earth mother wants for them, that Cahlar wanted for them, to live their lives in peace and prosperity. With Tobyn's help Kellar was able to arrive at this moment, shoulder his destiny and make the speech which hopefully will kick the asses of anyone still reluctant to follow the Savior. Oh, and like everyone else, I loved Arthur being all determined and feisty.

    Chapter 2

Tags can always be changed, drought. I disapprove of the way Declan always finds something negative and bad wishes to focus on. This kind of attitude will make you dissatisfied and unhappy, not to mention people around you.

    In Heaven

“Besides, I’m gay, not straight, so I wouldn’t really freak about you not being straight either.” It seems they don't need the hot Stephan to get some attraction going. Now I want to find out whether they take the step from friends to boyfriends.
  12. I like Vanyel too, and I actually tried writing some fanfic with him - mostly to please my cousin, who wanted 'the omitted sex scenes' Glad I'm not the only guy who admits to reading Valdemar novels, apart from Van, my favorite character is Herald Alberich. I liked your Harry P fanfic and I think you hit the tone of the Potter universe quite well. When you're done with the PD story, will you please, please, return to your ranger story?

    Chapter 1

But...but...but we wanted to read more about those blackout events - especially the adult one. Nice to see Ryan already thinking of Colt as his dad - which he is in every way that counts. Shane too.

    Chapter 1

It's always nice to see kind cops who take their job seriously but still have the ability to bend the rules enough for a poor kid who needs a break badly. Maybe Colt's colleagues being initially nice to Ryan made enough of a difference to win him over. He'll do great with Colt and Shane.

    Chapter 9

I think Ryan's feelings are progressing quite logically, and even if he's confused about it, he's still doing some clever reasoning on what's going on. My main worry is Eric being utterly oblivious. Either he's not developing feelings for Ryan, which will mean he breaks his heart. Or else he's also falling for him, but has no problem using their developing attachment to make the film a success, in which case he's more emotionally stunted than I hoped - or at least less caring about how Ryan feels than you'd expect from a potential boyfriend. I'm not just talking about the sex, because as this chapter shows, Ryan also feels violated in the normal scenes.

    Devotion

Wow that was an intense chapter. The only way to solve the whole situation, as far as I can see, is for Siggi, Gunni and Dimitri to become a triad. But for that to happen, Siggi will have to stop hating Gunni and accept he deserves to be loved.
  17. Not to worry, Hudson, there are plenty of us plodding along with you. I usually need to get prodded by my readers in order to get writing.
  18. It's a really difficult balance for me as reader, because it's easy to sound harsh or nasty, rather than constructive, if something annoys you. So I try to curb my itching fingers as much as possible. If I know the author a little, I tend to send a PM if I have a critical comment or editing matters. As a few people here know the M word will result in a PM from me denouncing the use. I think it's also important to remember that sometimes a reader (me ) ranting over a character doesn't mean you have to change anything. It simply means you hit a sore spot or did well in making the situation realistic, something we could relate to.

    Chapter 54

It's always nice to show a stupid ex what he missed out on. And a bit of possessiveness is OK.

Yeah, Bobby to the rescue, calling John just when he needs it. Or is Bobby in need of reassurance too? Probably, but at least he did what John wanted to, but was scared to do, he called. It may take a while before John gets some sleep, but at least he's not worrying himself to death or thinking of Dom. I wanted to yell at John to stop doubting and second-guessing, but his fears and issues are realistic, and I can't blame him for worrying, when he's making some rational decisions too. Like the one about not thinking and reacting as if Bobby and John are the fucked-up teens of the past. But he needs to trust his instincts too, the fact he slept so well, is because he felt safe and loved in Bobby's arms. I hope he'll be back there soon.

    Chapter 19

I think I actually like the abrupt transition. Once they admitted to love (even if they weren't sure what it meant) and had sex, everything else fell into place. Lahja now likes his body and Kiorl knows he can live with not being in control all the fucking time. Of course someone who knows the Scriptures like Lahja would collect souls by twisting the words and working on the minds in the congregation. Not much different to what some preachers do - and they don't have the excuse of being demons.

    Chapter 18

Hmm, I have the feeling it's not only Nassau and Kiorl's house mates who follow the development of his relationship with the angel with interest. Do they make bets? No, I think they like /respect them both too much for that.
  23. Timothy M.

    Chapter 17

I'm not surprised Atoki doesn't want to go back there, even if he did met his fire demon outside the town. Kiorl is rather lucky he gets to take his guy upstairs and share the fun. You can blame me all you like, especially now the demon and the angel are acting all lovey-dovey, lol, and holding hands constantly.

    Chapter 16

Kiorl learned a lot in this chapter, about himself, Nassau and the fallen angel. It was fun to see his reaction as Atoki told him off. And I chuckled at Nassau's comment about cuddling. I'm still all to realize I somehow managed to suggest what the Prince of Hell should find for his friend.
