Prompt 380 Sure, now you want me to make the decisions.
Timothy M. commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 380 Sure, now you want me to make the decisions.
First: we'll have to see whether Eric and Nelson conform to type. Second: Rob didn't actually say this, Nelson made it up. Third: I didn't think of it as a cliff hanger, but now you mention it... Yay - I made a cliffie Oh yeah, please do make suggestions about what Eric bought. -
I was happy to see that Angus considered Jason his ex-boyfriend and didn't want to see him again. Greg more or less encouraged Angus to conjure him up again, but I hope he thinks it through the next time, even if Greg does seems the ideal boyfriend. Fun story altogether.

Well, you'll have to ask AC if you can steal straight-bashing since he came up with the term when I needed the joke.Yes, let's hope Rob is protective for no reason - on the other hand I recall readers wanting Rob to inflict damage on various bad guys. As for the rest see my reply to dughlas. -

I promise you will find out eventually what Eric bought. And there are more Mall chapters to come, so I'll work on including Rob and Jas as shirt finders. -
“Sure, now you want me to make the decisions.” Nelson rolled his eyes at Rob, who grinned unrepentantly. “Well, if you say you want to see Cappy America, Eric will agree.” “But I liked the one he suggested too.” “It’s a romance, Nelson. I’m not really in the mood for that.” “Well, why don’t Eric and I see that and you and Jazz can see the other one?” Rob looked towards the restrooms to make sure his brother and Nelson’s friend weren’t returning yet. “I want us to stay together as much as

Chapter 25: Climbing the Rook
Timothy M. commented on AC Benus's story chapter in Chapter 25: Climbing the Rook
You do realize your chapter warning of gore isn't seen by your faithful readers, since we go directly to the chapter from our notifications or the New story update list. I was so glad I knew about it beforehand, but I can still recall the first time I read this chapter. Man, Vlad Terpes was one guy. If he is the origin of the Curse, Em and Sil have something of a battle to do. Please let love conquer all. After the carnage, it was almost a relief to return to the bickering of Em and Sil. I still get annoyed when Em expresses his doubts, but on the other hand I can understand him. He loves Sil and if they cannot get rid of the curse, he wants to protect Sil from the consequences. Even if it may cost him his life. And Em's dream of execution from chapter 1 comes back to haunt me. And finally I'm quite at you ending the chapter just there. -
Chapter 9 Beautiful Day
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 9 Beautiful Day
Two men newly and deeply in love. Those words sum it up for me. Everything Chet and Arron do speak of their love and trust and need for each other. I agree with Bucket, they are going to have a hard time disgusing this from M&K, who are themselves attuned to being in love. Thank you, Gary, for another of the most beautiful love stories on GA. And thank you, Kitt, for my Danish Drool Diverter, or my keyboard would have ceased functioning after this chapter. -
The emoticon is easy, just type : followed by X and it will appear. I'm glad Miles opened up to his dad, parents can be as clueless as kids about what is important. And getting the two fathers together is a great idea. If Miles' dad does plan to leave his wife, I hope he can take Miles with him, since his mom is not good for him. But I guess that would be rather unlikely at that day and age. Well done Jay in the locker room. Zane deserved every word, and perhaps his friend can now make him listen when he tells him to be nicer. And it would be nice if Greg and Dennis liked each other, but I think Dennis would be happy just to have some friends. So far things have gone well on the first school day, let's hope it continues. Great chapter CG.

My initial reaction on first editing this chapter was : and I haven't changed my mind. For once Ahmed and Junyad are completely in synch, they are living in the 'now', relishing the love they have for each other, and acknowledging the divine aspect of such a connection. The contrast between the two bath scenes could not be greater. Lady G sponged Ahmed off with lust and evil intent, and though his body got clean, her ministrations defiled him as did the subsequent sex act. Even if Ahmed managed to escape in his mind by thinking of his dervish. But when Ahmed washed Junyad it was an act of loving worship, and all he wanted was to give his man everything. It was beautiful and no matter what happens afterwards, they will always have this moment of ecstacy and fulfillment. As with Em and Sil we leave this couple in happiness - and I guess there is an important parallel in this too. Finally, I want to commend you for making us care deeply about these four men, whatever our initial misgivings. We cling to the hope they will escape from the dire circumstances binding them: Curse and Captivity.

There is something to be said for a bossy and sharp-tongued girl like Clarissa, lol. She's certainly not afraid of telling idiot males how to behave. I'm sure she'd be annoying in real life, but right now I'm loving her as Neil and Liam's fag hag. I wonder how quickly Jim will work out that Carlton is more interested in Ty than in him. And I wonder if Ty will tell them to fuck off when he realizes. He's so loyal to Jim, he might do it, stupid Brat. But Dad will set him straight.

Chapter 8 Take My Breath Away
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 8 Take My Breath Away
I loved the way Arron came right out and asked the question. Sure took Chet by surprise. Taking a day off together is a brilliant idea, they need to settle into their relationship before any new misunderstandings happen. I feel all warm and happy thinking about them sleeping in each other's arms. -

I agree about prompt 405, it's perfect for one of my Rob & Co at the Mall chapters. -

I liked your wish-come-true story, Val. And since only you, Mann and Sasha did anything with the car picture prompt, maybe it's OK to have it up again. -
Silly boys. Some Roman trickster God must be laughing his head off. but at least it finally made them confess their feelings.

Auburn Ski Camp: First Session
Timothy M. commented on MrM's story chapter in Auburn Ski Camp: First Session
LOL, Snowflake - Mr. I'm-so-hot 1 - 0. Hilarious. But also wonderful the way they instinctively understand each other and want the same thing. I wonder if the massage is another test? If Brian fucks Jimmy, will he lose the chance to win Snowflake's love? Or is Snowflake cool about this until they commit? -
Chapter 4 I Can See Clearly Now
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 4 I Can See Clearly Now
I still want to put Ian over my knee and spank him, hard. Chet should have dragged him into the cold shower by the scruff of his neck at 6 am. When he was awake, chuck him his clothes and tell him to get dressed in ten minutes. Finally, shoved a cup of coffee in his hand and escorted him out of the door with a 'Have a safe trip home.' But I guess if Chet wasn't the kindhearted caring guy he is, Ian would never have been able to wrap him around his little finger. Well, too bad, but Ian can go find himsef a sugar daddy - or go to hell. As long as he gets the fuck out of Chet's life. -
Chapter 3 Strangers In The Night
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 3 Strangers In The Night
I think Chet had a good point about readiness. They have been ready for love for a long time. And this is why they could be taken in and betrayed by their former partners, who were apparently not looking for Mr. Right, but only Mr.-Right-Now. No harm in that if you're single, but pretty evil and callous if you have a faithful partner who has invested in your love. But Chet and Arron seem ready to invest heavily in each other, mentally and physically. If this chapter is anything to go by, their instincts have been honed and refined by previous hurts and are now spot on. A ready-for-relationship-radar = reladar ? Perhaps a better ability than gaydar? -
Chapter 23: A Stroke of his Belly
Timothy M. commented on AC Benus's story chapter in Chapter 23: A Stroke of his Belly
It's difficult to add anything to the first reviews, but I have one comment. I recall how Ahmed scoffed a bit at Junyad in chapter 10: No fucking without 'love.' Well, now he knows the truth of it. In order to be able to fuck Lady G, he has to think of the man he loves. Ahmed really does get it now, doesn't he? And he didn't even imagine taking Junyad, but the other way round. Quite a long way our brash soldier has come. And now we eagerly await the third chapter in this pivotal past section. Will Ahmed and Junyad get to bathe together? Will Ahmed reveal his feelings and will they be returned? Will Junyad understand that as he was prepared to give in to the now dead guard, Ahmed had to obey lady G and should not be blamed or hated? Is Junyad all good principle or can he live up to his words and beliefs? I hope so for both their sakes. -
I still think Jaro's review looks like that from drooling without proper cover for his device. Anyway, my favorite sentence in this chapter was: Something in Arron went click too. I think the story clicked for your readers as well by this point. We want those two guys to connect and be right for each other - and never stand each other up.

Chapter 1 Walking on Sunshine
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 1 Walking on Sunshine
It seems Michael knows Arron well enough to realize he does not like to be set up with a date - even if we know from CotT that Michael didn't know Arron was gay until he came out at work himself. On the other hand, Chet's green eyes are making him forget all about this rather quickly. I think they would do the same to me. Green eyes are my favorite. And hunky guys in uniform. Envious sigh... -
Chapter 7 Bridge Over Troubled Water
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 7 Bridge Over Troubled Water
You know, I have the feeling Chet may dislike Ian more for the hurt he caused Arron and through this Chet, that for the original break-up. But at least this time the cure for the pain came sooner rather than later. Arron fought with courage and regained his trust and the reward was well deserved for both of them. "I had a taste of losing you today, and I never want to feel that way again." Let's hope Chet won't have to, but Arron is a cop after all. But I trust in Gary to give them their HEA and years and years of loving, playful togetherness. -
You made me feel sad and hopeful at the same time. It hurt. but it was a compeling story.

You're quite right Ron and in fact Sasha is one of the writers I was thinking of when I talked about writers breaking away from the mold. Born Wolf is definitely one of my favorites in the way it sets up a credible shifter universe. -

I didn't mean to compare them as writers. I only meant to imply that they in each their field set a certain standard - or maybe set up genre rules is a better description. -
Chapter 6 Heartbreak Hotel
Timothy M. commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 6 Heartbreak Hotel
To be fair to Chet, if all had gone according to plan, Arron would have known everything about Ian's visit, if only they had cooked supper at Arron's place. And faced with a impossible situation Chet did his best to reassure Arron while telling Ian exactly what he thought of his behavior. It's true, Chet shouldn't have trusted Ian and left him in the apartment, but he couldn't have thrown him out the night before. Right after reading this chapter I was more worried about Arron, he seems in shock. Will he come to his senses and trust in Chet again?
