  1. I'm glad that you're satisfied with the new side of Rob shown in this chapter - although we always knew he cares about his brother. It's just the ways he shows it can be awkward. On the drinking, hitting and grounding, please see my answer in the forum.
  2. For syv sytten da, what a wonderful review ! I'll try to cover most of it.I'm glad you liked the interaction between all three guys. I hadn't thought of it, but you're right. They are building a united front and Nelson brings Jasper in on the deal too. I think you're right that some things are tolerated, but then we all know that anti-bully policy is not always effective, no matter who the victim is. Go read Graeme's Leopard Spots for a good example. Yes, I quite agree about the story taking a life on its own. But while you may have the in-the-past issue, my challenge is writing US-high-school of which I know nothing but what I read here. Thankfully I have AC to help me out.
  3. Interesting how Rob is so popular and cherished by all my readers. He was meant to be a side character, but a lot of the action seems to revolve naturally around him. Whether by accident of due to the way he is... Thanks for reviewing - now you're ahead of everyone.
  4. “Oh God. This isn’t what it looks like!” Eric tried to disentangle himself from me, but I refused to budge and just stared daggers at Rob who had barged in on us with hardly any pause between knocking and opening the door. ”What do you mean, it isn’t what it looks like?” Rob closed the door and leaned on it, grinning. “To me it looks like my brother is spooning his boyfriend and having a very nice time.” I kept a firm hold of Eric’s hand, which had been making slow circles on my stomach and c
  5. Let me quote from my ch 2 review You would have thought that people around Kayden would have learnt not to shout by now. I think Kayden should have as many peacock feathers as he wants.
  6. The introduction of Bart was a brilliant idea, I can't wait to see what happens. He could be a real assset in the future if they manage to help him. With his wealth he might be able to found a secret 'school' for teepaths away from the prying eyes of the authorities.

    Promise Stars

This was fun - and as a Dane I could immediately relate to the HC Andersen's story (Grantræet), which I've read as a child too. However, the argument that he feels sorry for the tree is of course ridiculous in a modern world where Christmas trees are produced on purpose and cut down whether they are sold or not. The trees to feel bad about are the ones left unused on the sales lot, because people buy an artificial plastic tree made from a limited resource ie oil. At least a real tree can be recycled or burnt without adding to the CO2 emission (not that I'm inclined to consider CO2 a major problem). I liked the idea of the cats as guardians and immune to magic. And Max was rather cool about being told. I bet he hopes the power is doubled not gone. And now I need to go and find some cookies to eat.
  8. I think Eric's dad is quite sensible and laid back. And maybe he remembers being a teenager. and yes, it's nice to write something drama free.
  9. Holding hands - hmm makes me think of those fluttery feelings in your guts when you felt warm fingers touch your hand after having sneaked glances at each other all day.

    Junction

I'd almost forgotten I was waiting for this, but it was well worth the wait. I liked the sensual lovemaking, and the way all three of them worked well together, each bringing their talents and strengths into the relationship. The honesty and the slow pace of their developing bond were just right. How much begging do we have to do to get more ? There is still so much to happen for them. I want to see Miah comfortable and happy with this life bond.

    Chapter 3

Wow didn't see that coming. So Nate is a boyfriend abuser and a rapist as well as a homophobic jerk? Well, I hope Clem finds someone nice to make up for it, and that Nate gets run over by a truck.
  12. Thanks Suv, I'm glad you're seeing the positive side. Hurry on and catch up, there's more fun in store.
  13. I laughed so much when I realized that the mere mention of him is enough to keep Team Rob happy. Yeah, more alone time is what they need - and as to slow or not, we'll see what happens. I can't resist when you beg, I'll try to post the next chapter today.
  14. I couldn't agree more, Jaro! I always look forward to Gary's reviews too, but I'm delighted by any review - and yours made me smile as well. Glad you enjoyed the chapter.
  15. Thanks Gary, lovely review to wake up to on a cold, rainy morning. Yes, I guess you're right, but I can't quite see Eric admit he should be grateful to Rob. Glad you liked the kissing...
  16. “Please, I can explain.” Eric was walking next to his father on the way to the car, while Nelson trailed behind them, feeling somewhat awkward and at fault. When Eric’s dad had asked him when his parents expected them for dinner, Nelson blundered out the truth. “They’ve gone out for a theater event tonight, so we’re going to eat pizzas while we watch a movie.” Eric’s father had looked at them in surprise, but all he said was, “Let’s get to the car and we can talk on the way home.” Nelson wa
  17. I love cats - and Penguin is the best. But I was sorry we missed the shower...
  18. Thanks, Gary - and thank you for leaving such wonderful reviews too.
  19. I'm more worried about the poor peope in Africa having to put up with Hammer. But hopefully the Peace Corps can make a better person of him. In fact, I think this is exactly, what Wade said it was: a chance for Hammer to redeem himself.
  20. Thanks Mann, I intend to.

    Chapter 1

Now I'm feeling quite sad. But at least Peter's childhood friends knew the truth - and I guess they never realized their dad had been deceived, or they would have told him. I hope the bastard (Peter's father) dies in agony ( ), so he is free to find some happiness.
  22. I have no problem with paying for your books (as you know), I just prefer them as eBooks... and I'll wait patiently for you to write and post at what ever rate you're happy with.
  23. Tillykke med fødselsdagen thank you for all the great First Line prompts - I'm having a blast with them.
  24. Less than 150,000 words before we hit 100 million !! Edit: getting even closer (and I like the double 13)
