    Chapter 10.1

You know, sometimes we forget to credit Degan for being such an awesome leader. He really is the ideal Alpha, wholly concerned with what's good for his pack, even those members who are about to leave and form their own group. I suppose it's because he's a clever person as a human too, like a masterful CEO knowing the strengths and weaknesses of his staff and bringing out the best in them. He made the necessary process of creating a splinter pack as little disruptive as possible and set an example for everyone in how to treat wolves and humans right. I have a feeling that some time later Aliza and Deo may decide to join the new pack, but for now they'll probably be better off where they are. Deo at least needs the stability of a large settled pack, and Aliza is still to independent and strong to submi to teenage Alphas. David's choice to jon was logical and probably better for the old pack too. It's makes the tragedy of Mary dying less acutely felt and they need to settle back into routine. Beautiful chapter in every detail, Sasha.
  2. Is Frank aware that Zach is gay and in a relationship with Will? If not that would be a good reason not to have him at this meeting with Barry. If Zach didn't tell Frank about the extra meeting, he'd probably not be aware that it was happening. I bet Wally doesn't know But perhaps everyone at Escorial know about Zach and Will ?

    Bombshell

Oh well they got most of the problems sorted. But Mikeal forgot to tell his dad whether he wanted him to tell his mum and sister that he's gay. I hope his dad does pass the news, that way any bad reactions can be dealt with before Mikeal returns home. And I can certainly understand why he wants to stay with Adam right now. He's never put himself first before, so good for him - and good for his mother too.

    Chapter 15

Thank you Mark. I've been hoping for Zach and Will to have this talk. Having them admit that they love each other and want to make it work, made this chapter the best one so far. I'll go to bed with a huge grin on my face.

    Chapter 10

I get the feeling that sparks are gonna fly when Alpha Miller meets Zef Loved the locker room comment from Parker.

    Chapter 1

When I read this story, and especially the end, I thought that one reason for Lucas to decide to stay in the dream world was the fact that his dad never let him have anything like that in his own life. He never listened to Lucas or helped him see a way to let out his creative talent IRL. So the temptation to live in his mind is just too great. And who are we to say it's not better for Lucas - as well as being a punishment almost deserved by his dad. Though maybe once he's helped the magic boys long enough, made the dream world permanent enough, he'll sit up inside his dream with the sound of his dad's voice in his ear, telling him he loves him and cares and wants him back. Somehow I hope so.

    Chapter 12

Zach says: “They were there, and I was feeling a lot of pressure, so that’s when I called you. I stepped outside and called you.” But it was Will who called Zach at the end of ch 12, as instructed by the limo driver. And Zach was the one who arranged that pick-up, so did he do that during the meeting with the agent ? Because in this chapter it sounds like he dumped Will while he was still at the airport with his parents and the agent. With the awesome team you have, as well as your own attention to detail, it's not often we can catch you in an inconsistency. So maybe there's something else going on?

    Story

That was fun. You had me utterly convinced that Edward was a ghost. Everything fit - and then you turned it upside down. Wouldm't mind reading a sequel.

    Chapter 9.2

Ohhh yeah wolf sex, then skin on skin loving in the forest. Soo hot, sweet and mind blowing. And I have the feeling both the main pack and the splinter pack will be flooded with happy vibes from Tahryn and Kurt getting to know each other all over again, and this time with no division between their human and wolf sides. And I guess it's needed what with the tragedy of Mary dying and the shock of another wolf born baby. Oh and there's the visit of the gamma from the regional pack too. So many things to resolve still, even if the main issue has been dealt with. But the sighs of relief from both werewolves and readers are huge - in case you're wondering where the breeze around your ears comes from

    Chapter 13

I think Wally made a big mistake trying to control Zach's career. But I guess that was the only thing left after Zach had made it clear that he would work out a way to have Will in his life. Football is the main focus of Zach's life right now, and he's just been firm to the boy he loves about not messing with that. So awesome to see him give his parents the same message, even if they probably don't get it. And perfect that JP was there as an impartial witness.

    Finding Alex

You're setting this up to be a long and interesting story. So I'm guessing the Completed tag is a mistake I love cops with good instincts, quick reflexes, and clever ideas.

    Chapter 29

Why do gay guys in the closet always forget to lock the door ? This was such a nice calm chapter until we reached the cliff hanger. I hope Corey has Andy and Keith on speed dial, he'll need them soon. And I hope he's wise enough to call them, because they'll never forgive him, if he betrays his friends by not asking for help, when he's just promised them to do so. And I've got the feeling Cj will get violent no matter what Clinton says or does. Oh well at least Clinton managed to say that he'd admit being gay to Cj, before the bastard surprised them. So Corey knows he wasn't forced into the decision by the nightmare of being caught by his socalled best friend. Whatever Clinton decides to do now, Corey will know what his potential boyfriend is: a man or a wimp. And he can work on shaping his future accordingly.

    Chapter 11

I think the shower scene was a good chance for Tony to show that he's respectful of boundaries. I also liked the way Ty explained to Ollie that he was making the situation worse, even if he meant well. Now the one thing I don't understand is why the financial group does not tell Tony about the sponsor problem. He would probably be able to find them another main sponsor, maybe even the radio if things go well. Altogether a great chapter, and I bet we're all looking forward to Ken's date with Tony. Even if the part of telling him about Alex and Ethan knowing is scary.

    Happy Holiday

Awww shit what a shocker. On the other hand, his parents and Hy owes him big time for this, so they better be cool when he comes out to them. But Mikeal certainly is being a drama queen when he says he hasn't got a family anymore. Being adopted doesn't mean that they are not his parents or sisters, or that they don't love him just as much as if he'd been their biological son. It's the lying to him that's the problem, but let's face it, he's been sort of lying to them too. I hope Adam talk some sense into his boyfriend and persuade him to go back to his family. Preferably together. They'll be so relieved to see him that the introduction of 'Adam, my boyfriend' will just slide by.
  15. Right now, I'm leaning to NO, because it would be all about Matt getting revenge on Wade and Will being frustrated about Zach. On the other hand if it ultimately helped Matt and Wade get back together, then maybe. But Will would have to find out what the whole deal with Zach is and whether they still want to be a couple in secret. At least he'd have to ask Zach if anyone was off limit (and in particular Matt), if they took a break in their relationship due to the Wally problems. (I'm pretty sure he put the agent up to this prohibition deal.) If there were no Zach relationship issues, I'd go for YES. It would be damn hot to have Will do Matt. And the drama would be sort of fun too So I don't know what to vote - except definitely NO to the threesome question, unless Zach was the one to initiate it. But I have the feeling he'd not be all that eager to share Will with other guys. I think he's possessive when in love.
  16. Timothy M.

    Chapter 11

All I'm going to say is that it's so sad the way Will's comment about Brad and Wade turned out to be prophetic of his own relationship with Zach "It would suck to love someone, and not be able to be with him."

    Chapter 1

Aawww damn, that's so cute. I sure would like to meet a Tyler clone. Of all your Songbook stories so far this is the one I'd really like to read a sequel to. And so nice to see a sensible and sensitive girl in a gay romance, I loved the way she stunned Liam. Speechless. Prizeless.

    Chapter 9.1

A true friend, a tragedy with a twist, and an unexpected savior with a sad past. This was a chapter to wrench our hearts and knot our guts. How many tissues did you use while writing it, Sasha ? The only thing I wondered about was the difference between gestation time for Kurt and Yulva. But the story forum is a better place for that question. Awesome chapter - and Henry impressed me immensely. His insights are gamma status worthy.

    Chapter 9

Hmm, who is Nami ? Well, in a way it's good that Nassau did something nasty to Kia, because then they both have something to forgive each other. And if Nassau choses to make amends by changing Jem, then Kia might not be too pissed. However, one thought popped up while reading this, no two: Does Jem really want to be changed ? - I've go the feeling he's happy the way he is, except he'll like to be immortal. What will he and Kia do ? And what do the other demon/human couples do ? I think you've mentioned things in passing, but maybe you could include a paragraph where Kiorl tells Jem about the 'jobs' of the other humans.

    Chapter 10

I was annoyed with Alex for his persistent teasing of Tony about not getting lais, but right now I'm pissed. Joking about outing someone is a shitty thing to do, and he should show more respect for Tony's opinion about the matter and how bad things could get for Ken. And even Ethan seemed to shug the issue off at the end. Oh and the same thing goes for the joke about Tony liking the eye candy. Just one silly and careless comment in public which got back to the main sponsor would end things for the Leopards and Tony.

    Chapter 8.2

Oh fuck. Tay you idiot haven't you heard of lube and using your fingers first ! But I guess this is what happens when you've had to wait too long to complete your mating. Guess they're back to square one (or worse) Grabbing hold of the leg of a freaked out wolf really not a good idea - I'd say Tay's learnt nothing from past snapping encounters with Kurt. And even the two pregnant women caught on to the fact that it was a bad idea to call Kurt 'pup' in public. And more interestingly to the potential split away of a separate pack.

    Chapter 7

I love this story just as much as first Timber Pack book and almost everything else you've written. And I'm totally in on the 'lørdagsslik' concept that Puppilull mentioned after ch 5. But one thing does annoy me: How come most of these male wolves seem to think with their dicks or other primitive parts of their bodies ? Why didn't Colton ask the other gay Alpha about possible punishments for keeping mates apart ? Obviusly the whole mate concept is almost sacred for Lycans, since this argument was enough to excuse both Colton and Curtis from biting and turning humans. An offense that otherwise carries high penalties. And the Forest Alpha even acknowledged Parker, because mate trumphs male apparently. Now Derek doesn't believe that, but even he might have to bow to the pressure of the Council. And if Colton (or Parker) asked them in a way that could be understood as if it was a female wolf being kept from her mate in their pack, I bet they would act. And then it would be too late, when it came out that it was really Jed claiming Buzz. In any case, Colton (and Jed) may be too macho or not clever enough to think of that, but I bet Parker isn't. And where is Trey in all of this ? He could talk to his dad and ask him as one beta to another how to deal with such matters. Anyway, I'm sure you'll do things your own way and it'll be awesome too. And I completely agree with Mitch, Buzz needs to run away. After all he said it himself: over my dead body - and he's just watched Derek have a gay wolf executed for submitting. Another thing I bet the Council won't condone if they knew (not because they care about a gay uy, but because it's a danger in relation to keeping Lycans secret).

    Chapter 10

Matt has every right to feel sad and angry about the Wade and Brad thing, and I'm not going to say that any of the things he feels are wrong. If he now wants to say that it's extra wrong beacuse Brad was sort of his stepdad (even if it wasn't an issue before), then fine. It's all emotions with Matt, so it's doesn't have to be logical. And if he wants to see it as a betrayal similar to to what he did to Will by fucking Tony, that's fine too, because it meant that he FINALLY realized how much he'd hurt Will and actually felt really sorry about it. However, I think he needs to blame and hate Brad for this thing, because if he blames Wade too much that might get in the way of them getting back together. And subconciously Matt want to avoid that, even if his love for Wade has been damaged (same as it was the first time Brad had sex with Wade). In any case considering how much Matt hurt Will, plus Wade and the rest of the people who cares about him by pushing them away for ages and refusing to get help, then he almost deserves every bit of pain he feels right now. Almost... But Matt still has so many problems it's scary. Mainly because he does not seem to realize it. He seems to prefer blaming other people for his problems, and while that is a very human trait, it's dangerous when you're around Wade and JP, who can see right through BS like that and who themselves are totally opposite in that they're more likely to blame themselves and to do everything possible to control their own behavior and act in a rational and correct yet compassionate manner. Matt never seems to stop to think matters through, he just reacts to his emotions (punching Brad and Fucking Wade's sister are perfect examples). And while he is partly excused for not being completely with it in this chapter due to painkillers (though taking more pills than he was supposed to was yet another unintelligent thing to do, especially for a guy who's had kidney troubles before), I'm fairly sure he'd have gotten things just as muddled without them. And sadly Matt's inability to act in a calm way and think logically about matters, even when they are highly emotional, is probably one of the main deal breakers with Wade. I'm thinking of the remark Brad made in ch 8: “You know, I’ve always wondered if it wouldn’t be possible to have both. To have a guy who was a blast, who liked to get a little freaky, but at the same time, was a stable and solid partner,” I mused. “That’s the pipe dream,” he said philosophically. Wade is the one saying it's a dream because he knows he can't be with Brad in the long run and that Matt is not able to provide him with that (or at least not right now). And there are so many examples of Matt not getting it right intellectually. Forget the illogical comparisons to previous situations, if even Will makes that mistake, we can't blame Matt for doing the same (and actually Brad buys into the idea too). No, the main example I noticed in this case is Matt saying how Brad "doesn’t really give a shit about me and what I think". And right after that we have Brad thinking: "I felt incredibly guilty for hurting Matt" and saying that if Wade hadn't been linked to Matt he'd have 'fought to keep the romantic connection'. So Brad does care about Matt - even if he was utterly furious with him and wanted to hurt him, when Matt fucked Will over with Tony. So Matt is still very much a boy and not a man, intellectually, and while I hope he'll be able to make the journey from one stage to another, and actually become the brilliant person that he has potential for, I worry that he's too fucked up (and partly by events which were not his fault, of course) for it to happen. But we all know Mark can make miracles happen in relation to having people develop character. So I'll keep my fingers crossed and stay with the story.
  24. But the whole point here is that the real problem with Wade and Brad being together originally was that they got too deeply involved and it was a danger to Wade's relationship with Matt. Exactly what has happened again. So as Tim says, it's perfectly reasonable to compare the Wade/Brad situation now to the previous time they had sex. Rather than to compare it to the Matt/Tony or Sam/Jake issues. And the last time Wade was with Brad, Matt didn't freak out because Brad was family and therefore off limit, nor did Will. That's what has both Tims puzzled

    Chapter 15

Benny and everyone else REALLY need to stop treating Yuri like a child. He may have trouble recalling / remembering things and he has huge problems with stressful situations (many people talking etc). But he knows how he feels and what he wants, and in fact I think the way he is now (living in the present and focusing on his immediate needs) is actually better in relation to Benny and the whole issue with Tiger clans. How about Benny stop thinking of his mate as broken and focus on making Yuri happy. Little things like taking him for a walk in a garden with lovely flowers, brushing his hair, getting him nice treats to eat, letting Yuri touch him, playing simple games like throwing a frisbee or something. Just building a new relationship with Yuri rather than brooding about what he was like before and how to get the old yuri back. OK if Yuri wants to become more functional in some things (though it's not quite clear how he's dysfunctional except his innoncence in how he sees the world), then by all means they should work on that. But why don't they start listing all the things he can do and ask him what things he would like to be better at. And maybe have a separate session with Benny on whether he can live with Yuri the way he is now. I bet they could even have sex, if he lets Yuri be in charge of what to do.
