If you have spiders which bite, then I guess you're justified in killing them. You'll note I only talked about European spiders, which don't cause any harm to humans as far as I know. But I don't go around smashing bottles of mouth wash. And like I said, I can totally understand fearing or hating spiders, just not to the point of killing them in Europe.
-
Of course, allergy is a good reason to worry about spiders in the house, and I'm not dissing people who fear spiders, since I panic when I meet a wasp. But maybe asking someone to put them outside rather than kill them could achieve the same purpose of avoiding contact ?

Why do you kill a harmless, useful spider ? They eat flies and mosquitoes which are much more annoying, and in some cases carry disease. I can understand putting it outside, but killing a native European spider is senseless (the most polite word I could come up with). Australians are excused for swatting their venomous ones, lol, but even they should be grateful to have fly-killing creatures around.

Another way of selling the idea of the food bank to Eric would be to tell him to view this as compensation for not being paid enough for his labor while he worked, and for losing his home help due to cuts. That people who donate see it as a way to give to those who deserve a helping hand. In the best version it would be like going to the supermarket, but not paying. And who knows, he might find a friend or two, who will understand what it's like to have struggled to make ends meet all his life. Oh, and why hasn't Eric said something about the tea? Adam will be mortified when he finds out. If he went to the trouble of getting Eric's chair, making a stronger cup of tea for him would be a piece of cake.

I had the feeling something was wrong with Ranegar when he said he didn't have as much power as he used to. Whatever it was, Rhys and Kieran fixed it with the healing. Now they have a knowledgeable and strong ally.

Not to worry, it works well the way it is. Wolfgang should have know better than to invite Franklin without asking Jed first. But at least the guy was genuinely attracted to them beforehand, and he enjoyed the sex.

Ohhh, a nice Rob First Line Prompt, or maybe I should do the unexpected and give it to someone else.
-
So what will happen after the update ? Will the editors now be listed alphabetically, or by the order we entered them ? And will this apply to already posted stories or only future stories ?

I'm delighted you don't consider the incidents with the nosy neighbor as social interaction. Harassment by a fiend is what I would call those situations.

Anthology Flashback - 2018 Anthologies
Timothy M. commented on Renee Stevens's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Oh yes, I'd almost forgotten about Silly Gilly nearly killing the guy who saved him. I had to go read the story again, to remind me. We definitely need to know what happens next. -
Maybe if Chris had refused to go to bars with Will but told him he should go on his own, the relationship may have ended faster. But these things take time, and it's OK to take a while to point out you don't have anything in common but sex.

Thanks, Gary. A Rob and Jazz naked in the shower chapter is probably a good one to have before a pause in posting, in order to leave my readers in a good mood while they're waiting. I enjoyed writing this chapter, and as soon as I saw @comicfan's first line prompt, I knew this was a Rob sentence. -

Yes, us Scandinavians appreciate this kind of honesty, right ? I think Ryan may need some time to think matters over. -

Along with the rest of Team Rob. I have to admit you have a better chance than Team Jasper. Not that I'm promising anything. -

Most of my PWP stories are MMF, but I can't recall if I have any redheads, so that won't help you. You'll have to keep dreaming. -

Thanks, AC. It's one of my favorite lines, too. Boys having fun in the shower is always nice. Thank again for your help with this story, I hope to send you more chapters soon. -
gender & sexuality Trans Day of Visibility
Timothy M. commented on Thorn Wilde's blog entry in The Fantastic Mr. Wilde
I just saw this feature about a school for transgender kids in Chile on BBC. Cool in some ways, but also a sad testimony of the lack of inclusiveness in schools. https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-latin-america-48271140/inside-chile-s-amaranta-school-for-transgender-children -
Kitt trains all of us in this respect, and I now hunt those superfluous that's down in the stories I edit too.

Good evening from Denmark. The pic makes me want to write about Tor in CC.

If there is one thing social media is good for, it's whipping up shit storms against these people. I wish there was more of it.
