    Perhaps none of them are obsessed with picture taking. I can well imagine all of Devin's family going out of their way to avoid being in photos.

    It hasn't hit Mac yet, but barring any violent attacks or accidents he's going to be around for hundreds of years and he'll see all the people he knows die except his fellow skinwalkers. Any time he spends with his parents will be precious.

    Our travelers still have secrets to keep, at least until they are more certain of their new companions. There are so many things which they see as commonplace which are now extraordinary in this time. It is a good thing they are used to life around a court because it necessitates a skill in obfuscation. They are so fortunate their first good encounter was with such a trustworthy group. Killian has seen through Garnet's disguise without knowing what he has seen. It makes me wonder what he would sense with Xavier who would be much more than all of them. Madelyn learning Bruin can speak and might be trainable is earthshattering. It will add a new and deeper dimension to their bond.

    The vacation time Mac's parents had set gave them the advantage of being alone to practice Mac's changing into birds. Have they practiced altering individual areas of the body g et, like stronger arms or legs? Can skinwalkers enhance certain senses while in human form without completely altering form?
