I had an idea Helva would be vulnerable to Wyn's magic. With Serran's rulers dispatched and their army decimated, surely they are out of this struggle now. The voice returned after a long absence and has gifted Kalian with still greater power and it seems more is to come.

Rome, as they say, was not built in a day. There is no getting around this will all take time. We aren't even half way through the story yet.

It occurs to me the short term workaround for Dorf and his sword would be to have it unsheathed in his hand when he puts up his shield. The only negative is he would have to constantly hold it. What has the lens decided they need?

This place continues to be strange. "Metal is worthless." This is a concept hard to fathom since it must have some value. They do make things out of it.

The machine magic of the ancients is impressive, long-lived, and adept at most tasks. The room they slept in was remarkably clean, comfortable, and unaged. These must be maintained too by something. The only thing absent is pest control. The best thing is now they've been there they can return anytime to explore. I do have to say the thing which grabbed Snave was thankfully exceptionally stupid in choosing the largest, apparent meal.

I'd imagine the chances of Mac's parents ever seeing Barry would be remote. The only way Devin and Mac knew him was as their RA and that is done. Plus they don't have a last name.

This was hard for me to relate to, but I grew up in a different environment than most children. The concept of me having to get permission to go is alien to me. I understand it, but I just find it amusing. I hope this goes without any pitfalls.

These rockets are like the German V2's but a little larger. Being fired in a fixed direction and at a 45 degree angle, they are going somewhere on the planet and have been for countless years. You can't get escape velocity at such an angle. Evidently their production and launch is completely automated. Is this outpost still fighting a forgotten war against a long dead enemy? These new wolflike beings have saved them just in time.

Ben Franklin proved electricity has positive. and negative and could flow. I'm not a big Edison fan. If Jamie were more like Edison, he'd be taking more credit for himself and not sharing for free. Jamie has more in common with Nicola Tesla, who had an eclectic memory and could visualize in 3D.
