Hey, it really was a lucky day with chapter 13 being released. Another great one, Joey. Who knew two guys could have so much fun in church?
Jessica and Lenore know. It's very likely Miss Carol knows. At this rate, especially with the touching at dinner, everyone will know very soon.
Keep up the good work, Joey. We love the story and you.
How very crude, Conner.
By olfactory, I meant something which smells or tastes good. It could be a very fine perfume, a fancy dinner where presentation is prized as highly as taste, or it could be a slice of my mom's Southern pecan pie.
If you ever figure a way to earn a living from the "art form" you suggested, I want to hear about it, but not witness a performance.
Great chapter 12, Joey. The family reunion was very touching. And the little bit of philosophy about holding grudges was really special.
The ending...the part just before Miss Carol's prayer? Whew! Some very experienced authors should learn from you that there are ways to bring the reader back for the next chapter without a cliffhanger.
I'll consider it a lucky day when I see chapter 13.
Joey, chapter 10 is very powerful. I was particularly impressed with Jake's soliloquy at the end of the chapter when he finally comes to a realization of who he is and what he wants. Exceptionally well done.
Great chapter, Jack! I'm glad Lou,Jr. made the effort to reconcile his friendship with Spike. He continues to be generous with Spike and Spike was exceptionally generous in return.
I'm ready for chapter 13.
Thanks for getting back to this story, Dom. Chapter 12 was great! Maybe now that Nelson has finally leveled with Hailey, he and Milo can get on with their relationship.
The epilogue is a great ending to ITFB, Dom. It appears Travis and Dennis are permanently living together and Aiden wanted to go straight to see Owen.
Hooray!
I don't think you are in any trouble, Joey...certainly not like the characters in your story.
I have read seven chapters so far and am enjoying it immensely. It is certainly a departure in plot and concept from anything else I have read. Please keep up the good work.
I like the West Virginia dialect; it's very well done. I know you lived there at one time and can't help wondering if you personally talk that way now or if you have moved on to a Texas accent.
Dual citizen ship is complicated. See: US State Department Services Dual Nationality
You may be subject to taxes and conscription in multiple countries.
I have a good friend who holds citizenship in four different countries (not US).
Great finish to a great story, Dom. Thanks.
It's good to see Dennis and especially Travis being so happy. Now we need the same happy ending for Owen and Aiden. Their problem seems so much smaller than those Dennis and Travis had, but just what is their problem?
Very good chapter, Dom. I'm anxious to see the remaining parts. I just hope the good guys win.
You've left us all dangling (as if from a cliff I hasten to add).
I would say "no". The current name is too well established. "The GA" sounds a little pretentious...sort of like "The Ohio State University". Sorry, Buckeyes fans.
I don't believe there is any such thing as "Swiss Celt". The word "Gallic" is just another name for French, one of the four primary languages spoken in Switzerland. See: Gallic, Swiss languages, and Gaelic language.
I agree that "Irish" would be more precise because of the other Gaelic languages.
