Nice office, James. Floods are good for something provided you have insurance. You get all new furniture and toys.
It's amazing that you have that "lived in" look in only two weeks.
I agree with having a nickname for the award, but I think "CJames Memorial King/Queen of Cliffhangers Award" may be too long. Something similar to Oscar, Tony, or Emmy would seem more personal and endearing.
I suggest the award be called the "Cliffie". This comes not from the word "cliffhanger", but rather from C James real first name, Cliff (or is it Clifford?).
Enjoyed the story very much, Lugh. I'm not big on sci-fi, but this one was great...not too implausible. The part about the government contract was all too believable. But we already know who the big deceivers are. The story fits the theme perfectly.
Great story, Jack. I was surprised to find that five to one was Ollie's workday, not the odds on a horse. Of course, that was not the big deception. What a surprise...unique!
Jack has posted Chapter 8 of Shifting Sands..."Comets Collide". There are some real collisions and near collisions in this chapter as several guys jockey for position. Can't say more.
Great chapter, Jack. Looking forward to more action of several kinds.
Choices are often very difficult to make. There is no law requiring you to make a choice about sexual preference. Of course there is the natural law which wishes you would make up your mind and get on with it.
If indecision persists, the only reasonable thing to do is buy a smaller house.
We know what she thinks of homosexuals as sinners. I would be interested in her thoughts on serial heterosexual marriages. She actually has some experience with that one.
Well, this seems to be going rather slowly. Is no one in the Christmas spirit yet?
Let's try this one. Sorry, you'll have to click on the link.

It's not too early to start celebrating. It's only two weeks from yesterday.
Please post your most unusual seasonal video here.
You'll never see cats doing this:
You really like OCMS, The Chieftains, Earl Scruggs, and Emmylou Harris? You are cool beyond belief. I had always assumed anyone from Orange County would have nothing to do with anyone with a Nashville connection. That may explain why we get along so well.
