Kate’s death seems to be the catalyst for the families dysfunction. All the children seem to be afraid of Jeff’s reaction and are being quiet to prevent this and protect the status quo , even Jon’s silence has an element of self serving about it . With Simon living with them now , rumors are bound to start . The whole situation has just become more precarious .

Your words made me run a gauntlet of emotions , April 22 , catches because I’m ‘ aging as well as a beach party balloon’ ( borrowed from Torch Song Trilogy) and don’t have the personability to fill the gap .Hermit sits close to my heart , the inner light and solitude feel like home.

Lovely , I enjoyed the emotions contained in each one , but especially the frustrated powerlessness in Powerless. -
Interesting , the different reactions to Oliver’s swearing in 2030(?)Whilst last year (2017) a number of articles were published on studies indicating that intelligent people are more likely to swear and possess larger vocabularies , despite general views to the contrary . Be that as it may , I liked the way that endings and beginnings , growth and regrowth looped seamlessly and continuously in this chapter.

Tyrone is a despicable , self absorbed , disingenuous prick . I hope Andy’s rant penetrated , even if only a little and that Andy’s fall pains him a great deal. I empathise with Andy , a fall like that , naked and in the freezing cold could be pretty dangerous , no one seems to know he’s fallen , he should have stuck with getting to Church , at least the probable chemical insanity there would have been less physically and emotionally onerous.

Gosh , quite apocalyptic ! Ghayle clearly survived the ‘Purifying’ of the world . The question is wether Tagren did , if so , why is he not at her side ? Something must have happened to separate them after millennia together . Prism always was innately wary when speaking of Ghayle , yet even he did not understand the depths of why....

Khonsu doesn’t appear to have lost complete control of reason when in female form , or the meeting of the woods would have been worse than it was. Someone is still watching the six , Pax and Jany should be quick enough to pin them down and discover their identity.

I believe Prism felt the duplicitousness in Veil and that was why he insisted that Styx free Grimm and consort with Ghayle. Probably the only two who could assist the 3 young men deal with a pairing like that of Veil and Fasha . Veils feelings for Max are probably the seeds of her undoing. That said , thank you ... a thoroughly enjoyable read .

With the ritual Maxthane became Shadow King. With his new found Fedain abilities , he could in all probability absorb the power from the blood and gain strength and stature from it. I feel Kirra's final words after the kiss have a prophetic feel about them .

Andy’s heart is in the right place , but he’s more spontaneous than practical or realistic , thank heavens Adam is more focused and able to pander to Andy in an executable manner. I hope Eric has not developed pneumonia as it can be really dangerous for the elderly!

I have the feeling Hans will get to share his wedding day with his best friend, let’s hope the date is extended sometime into the future because Klaus has some work ahead of him. Hans knows where Jake is , I’m not so sure Klaus does though !

Devins greatest lesson is to experience that the people he set out to hurt were the ones who reached out to comfort and guide him first.

I feel Jimmy did a great deal of soul searching in the green room instead of sleeping . The distance , silence and avoiding by Jimmy felt almost like he was mourning the end of something / a hope , I don’t believe he is going to be overly receptive to an overnight epiphany from Drake . Not when Drake has been pretty emphatic when lumping Jimmy and Richard in the same category .

I got the feeling that Ricky was clued in to Brady’s attraction to November , now he’s living with a gay man . Maybe Brady has some potential allies , though why Ricky has steered clear of November .... you’ll have to fill us in ! So now Brady applies for the job and ... gosh it just gets even more uncomfortable !!

Oh thank god ! They’re back ! A nice gentle chapter to ease us back in, though Declan is getting closer to Baileys cutting and as possessive as he is , his possible reaction fills me with a sense of foreboding !

I feel that Prisms death will have a monumental impact in the new world being forged. Already Styx is changed and will drag Kirra and Max along with him . Should Grimm free himself/ be freed , his reaction to Prisms death may change his view on the sanctity of life . Neredos, Veil and particularly Fasha should hope he remains trapped in the pillar .

Kevin , Cameron , Stanley and Charles really are the better people , still caring for Devin. I’m sure Coach will do his best to intercede on Devins behalf , that is , if Devin behaves when he meets Uncle Dave and sees Cameron there.

I don’t blame Jimmy -Dean for his flash of irritation , but Drake has had years of pain and anger to cement his views , expecting those views to change in a weekend may be optimistic . Everyone else sees Jimmy - Dean as he is , let them tell Drake and let him stew on that .

I would say Boston , around the mid 70’s , although, the 1974 Teachers strike centered around Baltimore , I think! I’m inclined to believe Todd knows that David is gay and is sounding Jeff out. Perhaps Tom rubs Jeff the wrong way because he recognizes he may be heading in the same direction?
