    Chapter 1

A nice story. I liked how the photograph was used as a way to propel the story forward.

    Roommates

I’m enjoying watching Riley develop; I wonder how Phil will change as a result of meeting him. Riley seems the mire sure footed of the pair, Phil the more colorful. They will make great roommates. Can’t wait to see what else is in store for these two. Thank you for a great and informative chapter.
  3. Only enough tickling to giggle and sigh.
  4. I’m immensely grateful that you took the time to read Andy’s journal and to follow his story. Thanks so much. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed it, and I thank you for your kind words. As for Reed, until I can write his story, I know he’s in good hands. Again, thank you for reading.

    Monday

Simon is so lucky Niki is there for him and Rosie. It really hurts to feel powerless, backed into a corner and without resources. I sincerely hope Simon’s dad is defeated in court with a thorough tongue lashing from the bench.
  6. But I will join you beneath the chair. @Myr is an excellent guess.
  7. In keeping Chase on only friendly terms, Hank is protecting himself, and it seems like he has his reasons. Chase promises to seek professional help, and maybe that will help him heal and move forward. Unless something different can move Hank, it doesn’t seem they’ll move closer again. But what do you have in mind?

    Drama!

I loved this, cliffhanger and all. All sorts of threads to follow and anticipate. I hope this script is better received by the focus groups.
  9. Thank you for this wonderful conclusion to a story filled with love for those who believed themselves unlovable and unreachable. Thank you for writing about love that binds, heals and brings life to everyone who sees it.
  10. I’m very grateful for this story, which raised a smile on a gloomy day. Thank you!

    Pattaya

This chapter made my morning smile. I can think of several teams I want to see draft Riley; but right now, I’m glad to see it’s team Phil drafting him.

    Phil

Sounds like a fun bar to be at. I’m enjoying the picture you’re painting. Looking forward to more.
  13. Jeremy’s steadfast and forthright approach to Patrick’s aunt was very well done. He showed why he’s in the work he does. Thank you most of all for that. But thanks also for the love enveloping Orson and Joseph; Clay and Greg. They certainly warm me up on a cold January evening.

    Eric

I’m very happy you continued to read the journal. There are occasional breaks in the clouds. Stefan/Eric has to take them whenever he can.

    Firsts

I enjoyed this chapter. The characters engaged me right away. I’m interested in seeing where it all leads.
  16. Thank you very much for insight into those who write stories in this way. I confess to being intrigued.
  17. I like what you say here. You make these things sound possible.

    Kimo Calendar

Your kind words provoked a January blush. This is an interesting yet challenging form; motionlessness is not easy to write. It makes me very glad to know you read these and that they pleased your inward ear.

  20. I thank you for reading these pieces from the December darkness. They may bear reading aloud, perhaps. Most of all, it lightens my heart to know you enjoyed them.
  21. I’m glad there’s more to this story. Hank is an amazingly good guy. It’s hard to tell with Chase. Not sure what I think of him right now. That means you’ve written well.
  22. Thanks for giving everyone this story. It will turn out to be a perennial favorite, and this chapter proves it.

    Prisons

I feel the emptiness you write here when the words go away. I can only hope they will return, as the light is doing even now. I will be thinking of you.

    Walk Away

You are very kind to comment on this. I appreciate your taking time to read this journal and the story.
  25. Keeping my fingers crossed. Thinking of you.
