  1. A new cure for zombie-ism! I like it. And you made us feel Frank’a heartache deeply, yet he hasn’t been able to assuage it. How very crafty of you to leave us hanging by a number of threads. Together, all those threads keep us aloft, waiting for next week. But this week was excellent!
  2. Could I dare ask for the recipe? I hope your oven can be fixed.
  3. I send you hugs and peace.

    Happy Hour

Great chapter! Tension and a sharp spark of drama are perfectly described here. But what makes me think the current occupants won’t go so quietly as it appears? Looking forward to more!
  5. That’s a beautiful snapshot. Thanks for framing it for us!

    Chapter 1

I enjoyed this very much. It was a perfect tale for Valentines Day. Thank you very much.
  7. This poem is wonderful to me. I fell in step with you right away, and felt the push and pull of each stanza. Logic sometimes must take a back seat to what and how we feel, and you express that in a way that touches my heart.

    Silent Requite

Happy Thanksgiving! And let me say that this chapter made me late for work. Well done. It’s good to see Troy together with friends who love him, even if they’re already matchmaking. Poor Grant; he’s gonna have a huge headache in the morning.
  9. Poor Simon, to have overheard that conversation. If he takes time to stew over it, his heart might break. Worse still, heartbreak might make him do something truly stupid. He needs to hang on tight to Freddie and Jeff.
  10. Excellent. I very much enjoyed this.
  11. What a way to greet the day! It’s humbling to read this, and Im so grateful for those who read what I have written.
  12. Hank clearly has difficulties and issues of which we readers are unaware. Chase and Hank are the ones who need to talk most, yet they are the least likely to communicate constructively now. Hank is going to believe what he wants, and only time, reflection or other evidence will change his mind. But if that ever happens, will Chase even care? He’s finally growing, too.
  13. Wow, I’m loving this. This was a great chapter. Tears, reconciliation, developing romance, and corporate intrigue all in one installment. Of course I want more.
  14. I loved reading this. Thank you very much.

    Late Lunch

I like Vittorio Martinelli’s character already. The scene and conversation were perfect. I can picture it all, taste the food, and hear their voices. I’ll be waiting for more!
  16. I’m going to hold you to that.
  17. To me, it seems as if John’s spirit is working hard to bring Troy and Grant together. And why not? John appeared to be a great guy; if there’s a lingering spirit, why wouldn’t it delight in new love for both of them? Maybe that spirit can find a way to make that journal disappear. In the meantime, Grant has to make good on his promise: no more meddling. Why do I feel that may be harder for him than making that journal vanish?
  18. Once again, Freddie appears to be worth his weight in gold. Simon is so fortunate to have him as a friend. Perhaps something good will happen to help mend the fraying relationship he has with his mother - or something that lifts her mood; perhaps his father getting hit by a bus? Looking forward to more.
  19. This is a tough question, and an important one. Thanks to @JimSqu Sunbelter, @jkwsquirrel, @Rigby Taylor, @Timothy M. and @Yeoldebard for taking it on. My preference is for a well told story that engages and draws me in; regardless of how much or how little sex is involved.
  20. I confess to being clueless; some investigation is needed. Hmmmm.
  21. Hank hurts, that’s plain. He isn’t going to forgive or reconcile anytime soon, not if the scenes toward the end of the chapter are indicative of anything. You provide us with tons of circumstantial and tangential information about why Chase’s grand error amplified his pain, and you help us feel the weight of guilt Chase has heaped on himself. So much seems to be driving these two apart, that maybe Chase will have to learn to live with the ache and the distance while he finds a new circle of friends.

    Just for Fun

Can’t wait for the next installment. Ike seems to be in a kind of turmoil, and it isn’t the flu. Devin hoped for more. Will he get it? Meanwhile, I’m enjoying Frank and Ben edge closer, even as the soap flourishes.
  23. Grant has made a critical error, thinking he knows what’s best for Troy. Troy is unlikely to forgive such a transgression. You have set up incredible tension and the possibility of a world of hurt. Well done!
  24. I am sad for the hurt you endure. You express it well enough that I, too, feel your ache. My hand and heart go out to you.
