This is becoming a favorite story with every passing chapter. Jackson is so very vulnerable underneath his exterior, and Luke is becoming ever more confident. Kudos to Jackson for thinking of riding; kudos to Luke for their kisses; kudos to you for all of the chapters so far. Now to find a way to pacify Cindy when the inevitable happens...
Parker as matchmaker is an interesting twist. Matt must breathe just a little easier. He knows just his attractive his boyfriend is. But it must have been hard on Parker to know he was going to be hit on. Perhaps the foreknowledge gave him time to devise a strategy. I have often thought Matt was very lucky to have Parker, and this chapter confirms it.
So much intervening time, and yet, no time has passed at all. But this time, Marty and Hrishi might just make something more than a single together...maybe a whole song cycle. But that is for a future we are not privileged to see, but which we might be able to imagine. Very nicely completed. A fun story to read, especially for mathy type people...
I am very glad you liked Tango so much.Parts of it simply appeared whole in my brain. The dance is exactly what is happening, in many respects. And chant was singing in my head, and had to be written down...Many thanks for your very kind response.
Tango
What dance is this, whose steps I tread,
with movements of my hips and head;
my shoulders swinging, hands made free,
as by your knowing smile I'm led?
Was this the Tango meant for me,
that makes you full of mirthful glee
to bend my body over so,
and turn my heart without a key?
Am I an able partner, though;
my visage flushed and all aglow,
I've tried to match you, move for move,
but on me will you smiles bestow?
And so may I your equal prove,
to give and take while in
The scene that got me most was when Declan's friends deserted him. That, in itself is terribly revealing and must have hurt him more than any football hit.
Scott has indeed found what he was missing. Well said. Scott remembers who and what he was, though, and that must gives him pause, as we have observed. Yes, he has certainly changed, no question. But he must have some very uncomfortable memories, to say the least. Perhaps it is these that give his current condition, and his deepening love for Graham, such meaning. Thanks for your perceptive reading and very kind remarks.
You are very likely to turn my head. Scott and Graham has a really nice ring, to it...and the relatively slow pace at which they advance to sex must have driven Scott crazy. Deliciously so, and enough to surprise him, perhaps. Their love is indeed sweet, and maybe redemptive, too. Thanks for your support and kind thoughts.
This chapter felt satisfying on many different levels, and you identified many of them. For once, Scott is happy, and happy as being part of Scott AND Graham. This is a real first for him, and perhaps this is most satisfying to me. Many thanks for your perceptive reading, and for sticking with the story,
I think the theory that the waitress was trying to pick Matt up is the right one. But that memorable line with stick with him for a while, I bet. Getting Ginny HIV test results? Didn't see that one coming...thanks for the new installment...
Graham seems to have brought out some wonderful things in Scott. It's possible, too, that Scott has captivated Graham, and made him think a little bit less about all his research...at least not all the time. Many thanks for reading and for your review.
Jesse and Marty make quite a pair! Where were they when I was growing up? What a pity I never made it to San Diego. They are quite an appealing partnership...thanks for writing about them.
Brad is undergoing an intervention at CJ's insistence. Maybe it will work out. Maybe not...Brad may need more help and counsel than he currently admits. But we know CJ and his family and friends will be there for him. Loved the interplay with each couple following on in the beginning...each talking about the one in front. Splendid writing.
Thought for Liam: Yes, by all means talk to Aleksei. But be certain that you are ready, first. Thought for Nathan: you are one very fine individual, and a paragon of a friend. You may be far too good for Bryce. Thought for Lit: This is a splendid story, and a delight to read...and to anticipate. Thanks for writing it.
I like the chrysalis metaphor. It may be particularly apt. Scott could not be the man we are beginning to know without having gone through being 'Wally' first. And it is clear that Graham loves Scott AND Wally. Many thanks for your insights and for reading the story!
Well. I hope you found it worth reading, anyhow Scott and Graham did not dive directly into sex, but their mutual attraction made intimacy inevitable. And while this perhaps frustrates both of them a bit, I think it has Scott thinking things he's never considered before. And it is sweet, isn't it?
The bunk was narrow, really far too narrow for two bodies, but he hardly minded. Especially as the two bodies in question were still pressed together quite closely; Scott and Graham. He was spooned up behind Graham, clad only in underwear. Through the fabric, he felt his own cock nestling in his lover's naked groove. His one hand grasped Graham's iron hard member, his other arm wrapped around Graham's chest holding him close. He paused, panting slightly, trying to prolong the pleasure for both o
I am captivated by Su Yin, who seems so beautiful and innocent, yet doesn't know it. And it takes a demon to convince him otherwise. Perhaps this demon is not everything legend has created him to be. And if that were so, what might become of the pair?
Jim is so thoroughly bruised and battered by his misfortunes and reversals that its a wonder he can speak to anyone. But he does seem to give of himself, from whatever little he has left in reserve. He seems well on his way to being a brooding and bitter old man in rundown New England town. He'll make a great central character in a horror movie, unless there is something or someone to help him. Or so it seems to me.
