  1. What a very beautiful meeting of mates; you described the immediate attachment between Delia and Hutch brilliantly. The move was undoubtedly accelerated by mates sensing each other, and not just Hutch, Arthur, Sybil and Delia. And of course, being allowed to see our favorite pair in their own mating... Very lovely.
  2. I did, and it's fantastic...
  3. This is quite beautiful, utterly enchanting. It has a dreamlike quality that will echo in my mind for a long time. The first stanza's images are arresting - cold and warm juxtaposed so effortlessly - while the second stanza's allusions to the cosmos and the divine make me hear music. The third stanza showers a radiant smile over your beloved. Your special someone is a particularly fortunate person to have you write like this.

    Chapter 12

The sun is not shining completely on Marty and Hrishi yet, but the clouds have certainly dissipated to some degree. Maybe they're breaking up. And if so, there could be a particularly interesting, lovely and heated relationship for them both to experience. If this chapter shows us anything, it's that openness will only deepen their ties. Many thanks.
  5. What a powerful response to a horrible place you felt you were in. And I can relate, each word a missile, a brickbat, a stone thrown at your head and heart. I am glad you are not there, now.

    Chasing Jayce

Now that's one hell of an April Fool's joke. Perfectly timed, perfectly executed, and absolutely stunning. If I were Andy, I might not forgive Jayce, although the kiss at the end of the story would certainly take some of the sting away. Perhaps a few more kisses, and Andy could be convinced to forget all about it...This is a wonderful story. Love how the anticipation of making a digital friendship real is built up and then deflated - only to be brought fully back to life! Many thanks!

    Downhearted

I absolutely loved this story. It took the theme and wrapped it around my heart. Wonderfully done. Many thanks for this delightful and touching tale.

    Fool Me Once

Things like this can't really happen, can they? And the cheesy last line! Perfect.

    Happy Birthday!

Someone who needed and deserved an extra special day - no, bunches of them - got one. I am very glad the narrator found someone who will look beyond the obvious and see the person who wanted to be loved and delighted in for himself.
  10. Oliver Treadwell sighed heavily for something like the thousandth time. He did not mind air travel, not at all, but he wasn't a frequent flyer. Packed into a too-small window seat without sufficient legroom, he squirmed, trying to find a least uncomfortable position. "Excuse me," he apologized to his seatmate as his elbow strayed into her territory, "sorry about that." "First time flying?" "No, no, just anxious, that's all." The large auburn-haired woman nodded in understanding. "Nothing to

And Scott's reflection is clearly a whole lot nicer to look at right now than it used to be! After all the hurt and uncertainty, it was good to write a truly happy chapter. Many thanks for your thoughts and for reading the story!
  12. "... It would be beautiful if not for the problems lol." This sounds a lot like a Triumph my brother owned. It's music was pretty grand, too, come to think of it.

    May 2015

Thanks for describing a real fight between Ozzie and CJ. People who love each other fight. Fact. It's how they fight, and what happens after that matter. In this case, the boys figured out how to climb over their respective walls. But geez, the dad's need to lead less dangerous lives. CJ's heart, big as it is, would be destroyed if one of them were badly hurt again. This is a grand chapter, and many thanks for it.

You are probably quite right that other people notice. But then, Graham and Scott seem quite focused on each other, and may not see that their shipmates know. We do not know Cookie's mind right now, the old man isn't saying what's on it. But we do know that Scott and Graham say they are in love, and their love looks set to deepen. Thank you so very much for your review, and for reading the story!

I do like your analogies. This particular barque in which Scott and Graham sail appears to be a happy one, sailing on a lovely sea. It was fun writing about Scott, for whom this kind of realization and love is really his first time. And Graham is definitely friendly. I hope you continue to enjoy the story as it unfolds. Many thanks for reading!
  16. Okay, I have never seen this before, and it is flat-out awesome. It appeals to my mathematical-logistical mind. Love it! Thank you, squared.
  17. A sexy Emi, I'd prefer to any honors you'd confer for then imagination's not the only way we know he's hot.
  18. Well, that was lots of fun. Perhaps not a whole spinoff on Ryan, but it was good to see Rob be so good for him, and to him. Everyone needs friends like that.

Scott and Graham make quite a pair. It's wonderful for both of them, and probably a bewilderingly happy thing for Scott, especially. It is good to see them together like this, and especially Scott, looking for his next meeting with the one he loves. But no, the voyage is not over. Many thanks for reading, and for your responses.

You have a lovely singing voice! And Scott is definitely in love. Six months earlier in his life, he would have scoffed at the very idea. Now he's there, and his focus is on Graham...and not himself. Glad you enjoyed this chapter. It's nice when the sun comes out. Thanks for reading and for your support. - P

A beautiful as the sunset, yes. More so, in fact.

The love and attraction both men acknowledge is such a wonderful thing to observe. I enjoyed writing this chapter, letting them show us that what they sense is, as you say, real. Thanks for making it all the way to this stage of the story.

    Grasped

Your so-called stupid question is very good. And possibly others will come to call TP by his real name, too, eventually. Or maybe they'll stick with 'Wally,' because it's what they know, and don't choose to get to know him better. But you are certainly correct that Scott is being propelled by his heart this time. Sorry about choosing a name with an unfortunate history. Thanks for reading the story, anyhow...

No. Definitely and very much alive. Thanks for coming back this week...

    Chapter 2

So much information in which to wrap a mystery. So much history. So I wonder about the untold history the narrator seems to avoid, leaving us only small nuggets to gather. And I am not yet believing Drew Kohler slipped in the tub. Great story so far...
