What a good story! I have fallen in love with Roy, and of course Zafiro goes without saying! Your characters, main and support team, are interesting and well written. I'm not certain I'd want to meet all of them, but they were fun to read about and go on adventures with. I think this is the first story by you that I've read. I will be looking to read more! Thanks.

Hello Carlos! I think Unlimited Possibilities hit the nail on the head. "Gifted WordSmith" is a great phrase and describes you quite well. Maybe you could add it after your name, like a professional title: Carlos Hazday GWs! I never thought seriously about visiting Cuba, but your travelog disguised as a story 🤭 has certainly piqued my curiosity. As usual this is a wonderful story with this amazing family you have created! Thanks for sharing. P.S. I liked reading that WolfM used CJ's time in Australia to help plan his own trip! I have never been to DC, but it is on my list. And using CJ's time there would be a great way to start planning.

I enjoyed chapter one for a couple of reasons. First your characters are engaging and have great dialog! Their story is already interesting to me, and I have several questions. I promise to be patient and wait to read more. The second reason is railroad nostalgia. I borrowed this phrase from one of the other readers. It is perfect! I always had a train set. My family counted train cars. My grandparent's farm was just down the road from a train crossing. I look forward to reading more about Michael, Eric, and the others. Thanks.

Hey Tim! Another wonderful story to add to your list! I liked Adan almost from the first sentence. Your writing made me feel what he was feeling and what his life was like. Odie is a terrific character! I was glad he came back after checking Adam out and then leaving. My hope was that he would decide he liked Adam and wanted him to be his human. I wasn't expecting David to show up. Being social creatures, I think humans do better with other humans around. It's even better that they seemed to hit it off right away. Your story is great and complete as written. But, if you ever felt like expanding it, you have wonderful characters that I would love to know better. Not to mention what happened to change society, and how did the three end up at Adan's "house"? Just food for thought. Great job Tim, and thanks for sharing. Jeff

This is the first of your stories I've read. I really enjoyed it! Your writing was first rate! It made me feel a part of the story, and the details brought back fond memories of a time when life seemed simpler on the surface, but really wasn't. I look forward to reading more of your writing. Thank you.

This is a perfect story to read on a lazy Christmas day while the ham cooks! This is my first story about The Boot. I will be looking for more. Thank and Merry Christmas!

Part 4. Deception and Betrayal
JeffreyL commented on Refugium's story chapter in Part 4. Deception and Betrayal
This is a wonderful story! My only complaint: it was over too soon. Thanks. -
Part 2. Walter and Joseph
JeffreyL commented on Refugium's story chapter in Part 2. Walter and Joseph
You have set up a special story! I can't wait to read more! Thanks. -
Once again I get to vicariously enjoy a trip I will likely never be able to afford, and enjoy it with an imaginary family I have fallen in love with! If this isn't my happy place, it's close! Thanks. 😀😄😃😁🤩😎

Now, wait just a minute! You responded to Tabaqui's response by asking if they wanted to be put on a family adoption list. Having read every storyline "Summer" I don't ever remember anything being said about an adoption list. Of course I am waaay too old for adopting, but it would be great! The first day on the ship was mostly what I expected. Surprised reactions from the crew and some fun family moments! I thought there might be more fireworks between CJ and Nina, but having read your earlier comment I see why you made the choices you did. Excellent writing, as always! I look forward to more fun at sea! Thanks.

Thanks for another enjoyable chapter. I am getting excited about them getting on the boat?ship?yacht? 😉

One more visit to Sagrada Familia is on my bucket list. My first visit was in 1975. I'm certain a lot has been done since then. I was trying to remember if you've mentioned CJ's collection of buildings he has visited. In spite of all his "coolness" I love the geekiness he tends to keep hidden! Thanks, Carlos, for another mini- travelog ans more fun with the Abellos!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a new CJ story this afternoon! I thought chapter one was interesting. It was good to get to know the crew a bit before the guests arrive. Chapter two had me chuckling throughout! I can't wait to see what happens when you mix the two chapters. Thanks.

Epilogue - Christmas Lights
JeffreyL commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Epilogue - Christmas Lights
I have read this story a couple of times before, so I don't know why I have no posted comments. I totally loved this story! Paddy, Troy, Gregg, and Noah were the kind of people I'd love to have as friends! I enjoyed watching Paddy and Troy meet and work toward defining their relationship. There were many sweet moments, and of course those "villains" you love to hate. I had to go back and read the end of Hoyt Ford's story to be certain I had cousin Darrell placed correctly. I was tickled to see I did recognize him from the other story! As always thank you for a most engaging story. 💚 -
Like I commented in 2019, this is the first story I read that was written by you! Cole and Jared are wonderful characters! As always, I enjoyed your writing. Thank you.

Chasing Dreams Out West
JeffreyL commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in Chasing Dreams Out West
I have been browsing through the authors list on GA, reminiscing and occasionally rereading a story. When I got to your name, I have so many favorites it was hard to pick. I haven't visited Ren in quite awhile, so I chose his story. You never fail to amaze me with the wonderful characters you create! I hope you don't get tired of hearing how realistic your dialogue sounds, but it is another characteristic of your writing that needs mentioning. Thanks for a pleasant afternoon getting reacquainted with Ren and Jody. -
Thanks for giving us a chance to catch up with Jay and Loren. I am looking forward to reading more of their story.

As with so many of your poems, there is a lot to think about. I liked what other commenter had to say. I always marvel how many interpretations you get when many people read the same words. It's always a pleasure to read what you've written. Thanks, Tim.

Greetings Carlos! I had never heard the melting pot vs quilt analogy, and I liked it. The one I always heard was melting pot vs tossed salad. I read all three pages of comments, and I don't have much to add. Even if this is not "CJ canon" it was still a nice peek into the future! Excellent writing as always! Thanks. Jeff

Epilogues and New Beginnings
JeffreyL commented on Mann Ramblings's story chapter in Epilogues and New Beginnings
Several years later and I just finished my third reading of this story. I remembered the characters fondly, and I had forgotten enough of the story to enjoy it all over again! It's a good story and a great read! Thanks. -
Hello Carlos! I am not certain how I missed this story. It is back in what I assume is your early writing days. I liked the format: mostly narration and each chapter a bundle of information. I see a lot of what I think of as the characteristics of your writing. Your story blends facts and information into the narrative without them getting in the way. The characters you create tend to be appealing and I want to know them. Your dialogue is amazing and very realistic. When you write descriptions you tell enough and don't drag it on. I'm sorry I got a little long winded. I mostly meant to say I really enjoyed this story! Thanks. Jeff

Hey Thorn! I came across Daniel's story and decided to re-read it. The characters are as wonderful and as frustrating as they were during the first read. This is a terrific story, and I hope you get to a place where you can finish it. Thank you and take care.

This is a second read for me. I enjoyed Cal and Davey's story as much this time as I did the first time! Thanks.

I came across this story the other day and decided it was time for a reread. It was just as enjoyable this time as it was before. You are one of a select group on GA who creates the most wonderful characters and writes believable dialogue! Thank you for sharing your stories, Sasha.

This is read number three for Troy and Grant. All previous comments still apply. I enjoyed it as much the third time as I did during my previous reads! Thanks, Wayne.
