I really enjoyed your writing! I like your word usage; lots of adjectives and descriptive phrases. I am intrigued by the characters. In one chapter they are not cardboard characters, but fleshed out and feeling real. This the first story by you that I have read. It is very readable. I can't wait to see what's next! Thank you.

I have been reading along and getting to know Jamie and Luca. And I have been enjoying their story! Your writing is very readable. Your characters are very dimensional, not just sketches or caricatures. Dialog sounds very real and flows well, never flat or jerky. I love the effect Luca is having on Jamie! I am not certain what happened with this chapter, but for me it even more wonderful than what I've read so far. I can't wait to read more! Thank you.

I read these two vignettes (?) after reading the one about Adrian. I loved all three, and I 'll repeat what others have said. Great characters and dialog! All would work if expanded into longer stories. Your writing is very readable. I hope you will share more!

This has been wonderful from the beginning! It was fun to watch Phil go from a curmudgeonly old man into a happy guy with a love for life. Your supporting cast members were all enjoyable! You made them interesting and well-rounded. Your epilog wrapped things up, and I appreciate it. I can now figure out lives went on after the story ends. I look forward to reading more of your stories. Thanks.

I am closing the cover on another wonderful story! I got really involved with all the characters! They were so well written. Tim, your writing is always so readable! This story has been interesting, sad, exciting, and disturbing. Your characters all seem quite real to me. Well written and with realistic dialog. I didn't see Matt's appearance on The Marketplace coming, and I should have. Especially after his affair with Ahmet. Andrew was absolutely right to bid for Matt to get him out of slavery. I do wonder how it would go if Andrew ended up in court, and if a judge would rule in his favor. More of your good writing, Tim! Thanks.

I "got to know" Carlos during the early days of the CJverse. His characters and writing were one of a kind! Thank you, Wolf, for posting this story. You really captured the flavor of Carlos' writing. It seems odd to say I miss him, since I only knew his writing and our shared comments, but I feel a loss. This wonderful tribute had me wandering down memory lane for a bit and reminiscing. This has been a most enjoyable read! Sweet in the best meaning of the word. I enjoyed Matt and Tom, and the whole dog whisperer theme. Although your story is complete as is and very satisfying, I agree with other comments. I would enjoy reading more about these characters. Thanks.

The mom in this story is hard to believe. I wonder why other adults didn't see what was happening and step in to help Peter. I hope his life improves now that he is leaving home. I can't wait to read more! Thanks.

Blue is an intriguing character! I have a bunch of questions about his need for a counselor. And of course, that brings us to Lorraine. She is terrific! I like the way she interacts with Blue, and apparently he does too! I look forward to more of their sessions and finding out Blue's issues. Thanks for a great start! Good dialog too!
