I somehow missed this story. I came across it, and because I have enjoyed your other stories, I decided read it. Half a day later I just finished it, and I wanted to say how much I really liked Chaz and his story! Thanks.

The "duel" between Jason and Devyn has become frustrating for this reader too. I hope this shower is a good step toward a resolution for both. And now that we might have the brothers relaxing into a new relationship you toss in a mystery werewolf to mess things up? Not nice. I think Devyn is one of the most interesting werewolf characters I've read about in some time! Also, I hope we'll get some answers about Margaret and why she acts the way she does. Thanks.

I have missed Eddie. I was away from GA for a bit, and now I'm reading to catch up with stories I have been reading. It was great to read several chapters back to back. I find Eddie delightful! You do such a great job letting us know his thoughts, and his dialogue is terrific! I would like to drop kick Frank. Yes, Eddie needs friends, but not pushy, manipulating ones. I hope E3 will show up soon and deal with Frank. Thanks.

Not guilty?!! I was away from GA for a bit, and I am now reading to get caught up. I am loving the relationship between Hunter and Dale, and the support Hunter is getting from both families! I enjoyed reading several chapters, but ending with "not guilty" was a bit exasperating! I am anxious for the trial to start. I can't wait to see what surprises you may have in store. Thanks.

Cadet First Class • VI
JeffreyL commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Cadet First Class • VI
I have been playing catch up on GA, and got to binge several chapters here. I just wanted to say hi and let you know how much I enjoyed all the reading! Surprise; surprise. I continue to be pleasantly surprised with how much Ritch has grown! I don't know why I should be surprised. Look at his role models. I am always sorry when one of your stories comes to an end. I think I'll be more so with this one. Thanks. -
I am reading to catch up, and I was about to mention my confusion with Billy and Billy. Imagine my pleasant surprise when Adam has the same problem and solves it! Hooray and thanks! I am enjoying this story, and part of the reason is my being a retired teacher. There is nothing that compares to seeing the light come on when a child "gets it!" Thanks.

Wed, Thurs: Kayden and Trent
JeffreyL commented on mastershakeme's story chapter in Wed, Thurs: Kayden and Trent
I haven't commented in a while, but I am still really enjoying Kayden's story! I did not like Trent at the beginning. He was a jerk in general and really mean to Kayden. I am amazed at his transformation! Almost from the beginning, Kayden has loved Trent and cared about him. I never thought I'd say it, but besides the terrific and hot sex (some really fine writing!) Trent lets Kayden be himself. Kayden's father is a real piece of work! I accept there are cultural differences. I am a Caucasian from the Northwest, not Korean, but his dad is awful! I am surprised Trent hasn't helped Kayden run away from home. I know, in spite of everything, they are his family and he loves them. Even his dad. Go figure. Thanks. -
I read all three stories back-to-back and enjoyed each one! I liked the way the stories overlapped, but each one could easily stand alone. Your characters were very likeable and their dialog was good. I hope there are more stories to follow. I look forward to reading them if there are! Thanks.

I am worried about Eddie. Is he really ready to live on his own? It seems to me a group home for a while would help prepare him for independent living. I realize he is smarter than most people think, including himself, but this seems like a big step to me. Oh well, I am anxious to see how things go for him. Thanks.

It amazes me how you find the words to verbalize your feelings and almost always I understand. Although we have never met I feel like I know you some through your writing. I know I care for you and would do whatever I could to help you be at peace. And I am not the only one feeling that way. ❤ As always thanks for sharing.

Cadet First Class • III
JeffreyL commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Cadet First Class • III
It's 11:42, oops that's 23:42 hours military time. 😉 I get in a Happy Birthday just under the wire! And I have to say, "Sixty-three?? You're just a kid!" 😆😆😆 I enjoyed Ritch's time spent with Chipper! I appreciated all the hard work getting the fundraiser promoted and put on. It's moments like this where his family training and background come into play. Isn't there some old saying about quality shows? I am also glad to see Ritch taking Baker under his wing. Thanks. -
Three cheers for Marta and her quick thinking! I'm certain she was as unhappy as Gus, or more, being dragged away from a fun summer and a new boyfriend. I loved Rick's phone call with Irene! He is showing another growth spurt mentally. Making quick decisions and talking down his insecurities! His other great conversation was the one with his dad in his head! All this shows the terrific writing you've been doing on this story, but the award winner was your description of the drive to and in Chicago and the hunt for Gus in the symphony hall! You absolutely nailed the tension and frustration! And the icing on the cake was Rick's closing line! Bravo!! An outstanding chapter among many in this wonderful story! Thank you.

I love these stories! They are a departure from your usual stories, but once again characters and dialogue shine! The turtles are a big bonus! I have seen the newly hatched babies and their run to the sea on TV. Seeing them in real life is on my bucket list! I am wondering if hatching happens at a certain time of year and what the weather is like for tourists at that time. When you find your illustrator and get ready to publish, you might consider a page of turtle facts at the end to supplement the information in the story. Thanks Carlos. Nicely done!

Eddie has my heart! I feel badly when he starts in to a panic attack. He seems to want to do well, and he has moments when he is quite perceptive. I wonder if Dr. Doyle can help him with his memory and his low sense of self-worth. Thanks.

Part 1: Summer Nights 4 (Japan)
JeffreyL commented on UptownBoy's story chapter in Part 1: Summer Nights 4 (Japan)
This was a great chapter! The boys' day together was perfect; very romantic and sensual! It feels like the end of the story, but since it is labeled part one, it must just be the end of Japan. So what's next? Maybe an interlude and then Turkey? And more romantic adventures for Alex!? I am really enjoying this story! Thanks. -
This is a wonderful poem, Tim! You have captured and put into words that joy of being one with another person! Reader1810 is spot on! "Mad skills our Tim has!" Ask Michael to give you a hug from me. Thanks.

Thanks for the message about this new story! I had somehow missed it. I am now caught up, and a little confused about relations and titles. I may do a little rereading to sort things. I do like Michael a lot, and I am pretty sure I will enjoy his story! Thanks.

Cadet First Class • II
JeffreyL commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in Cadet First Class • II
It is always a pleasure to read another chapter in the Abello universe! I am enjoying watching Ritch grow into a responsible adult and leader. Since I was never in the military, I have learned a lot about a world I know little about. Thanks. -
Hooray a date for Justin!! Now let's hope Connor turns out to be a good guy. Thanks.

I have enjoyed reading this story, and I love the way things have progressed! I liked Rick from the beginning! It is great to see him becoming the person he was meant to be! Now to get through Zoltan's meddling and figure out what HEA with Gus looks like! Thanks.

This was a fun story to read! Thanks.

This epilogue was a nice wrap-up to "Cabin Boys." You gave us enough bits and pieces that a follow up story is probably not necessary, but if one appears, I know I'll read it! Thanks for another heartwarming story!

You have done an amazing job bringing Ed to life! I am curious to know what helped you write his thought process and dialogue. Although he sounds a bit nuts, his thought process seems logical. I wish his mom would stop calling him "stupid dodo." On some level that must hurt. I am loving Ed, and hope someone can help him get things sorted. Thanks.

I really like Lothar, and Edwin is growing on me. This is an interesting place you've created. I like the twist you've added to the angel/demon mythology! So far I have a lot of questions and not many answers. I am looking forward to following Edwin's adventures with Lothar and finding answers along the way. Thanks.

Three cheers for Rick! His comments at the school board meeting have put a serious monkey wrench in Rita's plans. I doubt it was planned as playback, but it certainly works! I am glad he came out to Jerry. It was long overdue, and Jerry showed what a good friend he is! This is also a step closer to Rick being his real self. Two problems left: Gus and Heinrich. Rick is on a roll. Let's hope it continues. And finally, I can't wait to listen in on Rick's visit with Irene! Thanks.
