So very strange--Beckett is left alone later by the dragon and could be staying in possibly a treehouse. He can investigate the next morning with better light. He was very tired and hungry and isolated .He found some odd colored food to eat and fell asleep in a bed. Beckett is still not aware of his specific role or tasks or timeline. Will he have the right equipment and help? Is he skilled, etc so he can do what is needed? Is he facing a deadly fight? I can see him blow up and get very mad if he is not soon fully informed and prepared.

Oh My--in a sense this felt like a supplemental ending--shocking, eventful, painful, mind altering, requiring assumptions to be suspended and eventually united by the good qualities of the main characters. I must say you compose the most beautiful descriptions of fabulous gay sex that any gay man would want to enjoy. Things could have gone very, very bad. I did not see Jacob going back to Christian and finally having passionate all consuming sex throughout their lives. Christian found out about Jacob's special unchanging nature. Christian stayed with him aging naturally in some form as he also stayed with his wife and son. Christian died maintaining his deep love for Jacob. He regretted nothing. Jacob was crushed. Casey met Jacob who returned to his cabin asking him to return to them after his long time away. Casey told him he loved him. He refused until he learned Jeffrey was dying. "Well? Take me to him." Jacob instructed, winking at Casey, unleashing the boy's beautiful smile. I hope Jacob finds renewed love and life.

It seems with this background that Will's meeting with Zach should be fundamental and close out clearly the close attachment Will felt for Zach. Will has worked through his thought processes talking with Travis. I expect Will is going to be plain spoken and truthful leaving little doubt about their restricted future. Zach should know the guardrails he must not cross if he wants any future support. Zach might well be surprised at what Travis has told Will about his blackmail efforts. He might have gone into the meeting hoping he could change's Will's mind and remain sexually close. He should be pained and constrained. But, I am looking forward to what actually develops from Mark's mind in the next chapter. He is known to surprise us.

Interesting--Caden has been able to refuse Ludwig's desire for his blood for weeks. He wants sex and Ludwig says no. The vampire is back to his sad, dried out state, Caden does nor understand why Ludwig says no--Guys in prison give in and they are like in prison, Caden rationalizes . However, Ludwig is seriously traumatized. I guess possibly when he last laid with a man he lost his soul to a vampire. He knew he had sinned. Ludwig knows for certain....NO! Don't give into his ruse, he is just trying to have his way with you, and you know what happened the last time you gave into those urges! Ludwig clenched his fists and glared at the human, determined not to make the same mistake twice. He had already lost too much the last time he had sinned with another man. Except, Ludwig is already a vampire. He can go no further and with blood his existence will be much better. Caden is so furious at how cruel and hateful and nasty Ludwig is to him in anger that he punches and knocks Ludwig out. Will Caden worry enough about Ludwig to give him some of his blood due to his condition? Will this step convince Ludwig to help Caden with his desires in return? They need to reconcile, and each find a connection and reason to help each other. Let's hope they do not delay the inevitable for much longer.

Zach blackmailed Travis over an arrest for giving a cop a blow job and being cited. The incident was hushed up by lawyers but Travis kept the ticket. Travis found and kept the ticket. He smartly helped Travis to see he had to give up his anger since it will only hurt him. Will is going to do the same thing. He does not want Zach in their lives in a real way. He is going to be forceful and direct with Zach and make clear they can be civil but aware of their problems. Will is amazing and so mature and wise. Now he and Travis have to work out their relationship. They said they are in love with each other. Seeing them grow together will be wonderful, I assume. Will is on uncharted territory.

So Rusty has loss his reputation as the King. He is perplexed and sought out Maddox and then Matty and then John, Matty's room mate. Rusty wants to really prank Connor and his followers. He studied John to get clues. One clue that shocked Matty was Rusty's opinion that John is gay and wants to have sex with Connor. I can see Rusty play off John's weakness to bring Connor down. He is a prude and a hypocrite who can be found out.
