The adults patiently listen to him and find other ways for him to see what is happening. They are like paraprofessional therapists who really care for him. Aidan is most often a joy and a loving and lovable child who shakes up Loren and Jay. He can be demanding. They can't be selfish around him. They really are surprised and capitated by him. Heck, Loren is even changing his diapers. Loren says he is not one of his 99 problems. Good. Is a story line being modified so that Loren is not going to object to Jay and he having a child? This short time with Aidan suggests they would be wonderful, loving parents.

They are going to take the high risk, high reward approach of a public spectacle landing telling the home world an ambassador has arrived. They are also assuming this way will make it very difficult for the Kardoval to make them disappear and maybe force them to start working with the ambassador and them. I bet the arrival will capture wide public attention. I hope the approach works. The ambassador has a key role to play in winning acceptance. He needs to rise to the occasion and make a very positive impression. I loved the four handed oil masssage that Garjah gave to Essell. Since the original chapter has been divided into two parts and you are not publishing the second part right way, does that mean you are going to be able to add lots more romance and sex in the new second part than was contained in the first version? Jackson's parents are going on a trip for a few days. Good times for both Luke and Jackson are just starting. They ran in the morning and Luke took Jackson to his special place, a very private spot. Two concerns-- 1. Does Daventry know about Granger's affection for the Tsar ? He still is his friend but is he aware of Granger's complex sexual nature? Will Granger again become seriously depressed if kept inactive ashore? I hope if he is kept ashore Lord St Vincent will employ Granger in tasks that strengthen his mental outlook. His recent sacrifices and service deserve to be rewarded in some way

Thank you, Mark, Granger is one of my heroes. His trip home is becoming slower and more eventful. Nelson saw his was greatly troubled and as Daventry said needed to be busy. Nelson wisely gave him command of the Calliope and Granger was very pleased. Nelson will give him a new first lieutenant. Granger and Daventry will stay in the area while the fleet leaves until they have fully briefed the new Ambassador to Russia who just arrived on a separate ship and who apparently is a first class appointment. This opportunity is quite fortuitous. Granger and Daventry can transfer all their insights while fresh to the Ambassador so he can start off on the right foot and avoid minefields. Peace between both countries is the objective, I expect. George is stopping at Visby and can check on his past contacts and his commercial shipping arrangement. Will the Calliope run into a Russian ship taking an ambassador to Britain? It appears ambassador exchanges are underway. It is encouraging that Nelson offers to take Granger back if Lord St Vincent leaves him ashore. Granger may have to work his court contacts to try to get a posting, He is not hopeful he can find a way to change Lord St Vincent's mind.

Great story---What could have been a disaster ( having a toddler at home ) turned into a fun time. The kid did end up having two uncles. Surprisingly, Aidan wanted to be held by Loren all the time and it did not bother Jay. He wanted them all to be pleased and having a good time. You have painted a sweet, endearing time together. Aidan is a treat and good kid who craves attention and reacts well. So Loren doesn't want to have kids and Jay will accept that position. They look like they both can enjoy being around kids and being uncles. Jay says reacting to Loren....."He scoffs. He doesn’t believe me. He has some notion that the perfect family looks like a dad who coaches sports and a mom who brings snacks. He’s convinced I want the perfect family. He just doesn’t realize that he’s my perfect family. Kids or no kids. I don’t care."

I hope and expect Will is going to take full advantage of all his experiences and relationships in his gap year to turn into a wiser and more balanced and self-aware and centered freshman than his peers. He might find Harvard is very challenging with nearly every student extra smart. He still should do well academically and enjoy his competition. It is his nature to be a fun, interesting person. I hope he finds great friends who like him for who he is and not what he has. The gap year should improve his ability to understand and work with people successfully. Helping Johnny and Patrick was a great accomplishment.

Will was masterful at Patrick's session, conversing with Stef and Bellona ( Belladona would fit) , mediating bewteen Patrick and Johnny and handling changed assumptions with Patrick and Kris with a K. He turned disasters into successes. I was impressed when thrown curve balls-like Patrick imagining Johnny was Will as he fucked him -he keep going and helped things turn out for the best. Will and Patrick are a relationship waiting to be tightened. Stef and JP have to be impressed by Will and his strength and resilience. Will has an inert dynamism and optimism . He does not avoid hard topics and situations. He essentially confronted his dad about late night calls and made his demands clear. We still don't know why Brad called and it must be a low priority. Will reconnected with Kris from the bar/club and skillfully got Kris to agree to a date. I bet his choice of a real ROLEX will likely impress Kris and tell him Will is a high class, wealthy guy. If he is upset by the gift, things could go downhill fast. My bets are on Will knowing how to read guys most of the time...I hope the date turns out great for both Will and Kris. We will find out next chapter. Poor JJ, he has lost his high status car to Will often this trip. Will JJ need to be mollified soon?

Karl has been given lots of food for thought and a helpful perspective on his scary dreams. His adviser/mentor is teaching him new things. I expect Freud ideas about the subconscious drives behind his dreams will eventually give him comfort. Karl is told there are more serious things than dreams in wartime and he might accept it at some point for his own good. After the painful meeting with Alec's father, this accidental connection with Finn was relatively uneventful with just moments of angst. Will Finn and Alec meet again? They need to talk to close out their feelings without the eruptions when they broke up. There has been speculation on who the young kid is. We will find out later, I am sure. For now, Alec is crushed and thinks the youngster belongs to Finn and that Finn has supposedly move on from him. The most encouraging news is that Milo is well enough to join with Finn in owning a gym. He must have recovered enough and does not have PTSD. The next serious meeting is will Alec's sick mother. I am not expecting their meeting to be pleasant and may really impair Alec's mental health.

What interesting personal stories with the intervention of two alphas. Dirk in pain and needing to control his fire magic was helped wisely by Tierney. Dirk's journey will be tough. Mason very worried about Vincent working for the EC was properly counseled by Cyrus. Cyrus also told Vincent he would have to take orders and do just what the EC directed and overlook other problems he sees. Can Vincent's alpha take orders and be guided only by the mission ? I expect we will find out soon enough. It seems there are lots of type duties a shadow mage could undertake. He probably be given some simple ones at first. I would love to see Vincent help Cyrus after some EC experience. Working in new situations and conflicts with the EC could upgrade Vincent's skills in preparation to help Cyrus and to fight Stefan I like reading how Cyrus and Kaplan are getting along as a couple with all the pressures of their jobs. They are really enjoying having great sex which will keep them very happy and in sync.

You threaded the needle of miscommunication, broken friendships and underlying motivations .You brought things all together very quickly. Maddox played his part well. The guys better understand each other . Maddox and Jonathan know they suck at relationships. Maddox told all he is committed to Jonathan for the long term. Jonathan said he does not want to be breaking the four up and will recommit to his now 31 day deal. Ray gave Maddox guidance to be himself and helped him know more about JJ. We are left with Rusty. He had a warm reconnection with Maddox and said he was worrying he had lost his best friend and was displaced by Jonathan. Maddox assured him he was still his BFF. Rusty left to makeup with Jonathan. Maddox brought up the concern to himself that Rusty had other, maybe sexual issues, with Jonathan. We will find out.....

This chapter shows how CJ is growing in his job and personal life and expanding and strengthening his relationships. He cannot stop networking. He seems to have the golden touch and is very congenial and likable. He has many reasons to be conceited but he is definitely not that and his genuineness and approachability are part of his appeal. I appreciated Sir Arthur's view that CJ was like a young Jack Kennedy. The British Ambassador really likes CJ and is turning into a mentor or rabbi for him and his career. Co he is going to learn and play golf with Sir Arthur and have the Embassy's public affairs director over and likely connect with the Russian compromised Javier Luz. Maybe, this knowledge of connection is a new insight from the recent defection aided by CJ. I note he hasn't told Owen about Luz yet. It looks like CJ and Owen are on the way to having some more people to invite to Chipper's concert in Mexico. His performance should be sold out. Winning 4 Grammys is awesome. Northman was in high dungeon and obviously pissed off as he deserved. He realized he had to give CJ time off. CJ and family will go to LA for the Oscar awards ceremony. It will be an amazing experience. Their movie wins as your other story, Ranger, shows. CJ is going to bring the Oscar to the Embassy. One of the wonderful qualities of this story is the warm family life between CCJ, Owen and Liebe. They are delightful and seem to handle any challenge and be so happy.

This was so intense and scary--A roller coaster of highs and lows-I had trouble finishing the chapter Lots of mental pain, but so far no serious physical injuries outside of the game I hope Joey joins Nic at Luke's place

This was a surprisingly smooth progression from the major trauma to recovery. They played to each other's strengths and found ways to cooperate. Mirabile dictu--no fights Loren was so badly hurt and bruised. You gave a powerful description of his injuries and pain experiences. I could see them in my mind. No wonder Jay was so concerned and treated Loren so tenderly Jay was a good mother and nurturer. Plus, his background as a bruised and battered football player gave him insights and a great contact to help Loren. I loved how Jay jumped right in and helped Loren post online and even got in the picture. I bet that Jane Fonda workout tape with football players was fabulous. You nicely added a sex scene with Loren forcing the issue and surprising Jay. Jay was overly concerned about Loren being hurt when Loren really wanted sex. They both enjoyed it. Life seems returned to normal with Loren better off and they both are turning to their professional lives living as a happy couple with a trip soon to Denver.

A surprisingly calming and accepted transition occurred which surprised me. Mitras met with the new captain who met James Bishop and the captain's ancestor which helped him learn what was true and not myth The new captain learned that change was required and would allow the new visitors survive and prosper. They did fit in and began happy families. Good pairs were strengthened, Thad and Evan became very close and sexually active. Ned was rewarded by Mithras for his long time service by being connected with Peter. Thank you for a happy ending with no bitterness and all becoming well adjusted and pleased.
