Bullying is simply unacceptable ... F-ck you Leon ... Where is this tip about the college as in "the school Cole and Jared attended" ? Argh ... teenagers and their angst ...

Holy f-cking Father of the Earth Mother ! That's my reaction to finding out about Tilly and Logan, blasphemy, and I'll have harsher words for those big wigs upstairs ... AND I'm not that emotionally invested in Tilly's character, as she was an almost girlfriend of Tobyn (I'm much more into shipping Kellar & Tobyn, maybe because I'm gay and I'm perving on them ) NONETHELESS, it seems totally unfair to this young woman who has been a loving sister, a loyal friend and a sweet person. I disagree with you all and believe that the Earth Mother made a mistake in this matching ! I'll start a petition to urge HER to change this particular decision; Gary, will you help me with this ?

How can the four Card brothers be so living with each other and seem to be such well rounded young men when their father is an absolute ASSHOLE ?! Oh my poor Cory ! You all need to know not to dump all that sh-t, all in one go, on Cory after you've sheltered him nearly all his life from that sh-thead ... Maybe Elaine just reacted like a lot of abused spouses do in such occasions and go along with their domineering partner, at least I hope that is why she did what she did ...

Let's enjoy their blissful time together, the three of them ... come what may tomorrow ... Fatalistic attitude, no ?

This is the best present to send off 2016 ! It is a great chapter, now I have go back to re-read the first two books to brush up on this universe ...

Chris Kringle with a boyfriend ! Yay ! Nothing more romantic than a workplace romance ! -
Door#16 - A Thousand Kisses
hohochan657 commented on Aditus's story chapter in Door#16 - A Thousand Kisses
I read this after Christmas when all the mistletoes have come and gone ... But yay ! As the others have said a double happy ending ! Yay ! Yay ! -
Argh ... too dark for my taste ... I AM the die hard, fanatical, hard core, militant romantic. Any author who writes an ending short of a happily ever after will draw ire from me ... BUT thank you for your lovely tale ... Though my poor, poor Tristan ...

Weddings get me excited as well ! The bonus is no stress for us as we're just witnessing it through reading about the whole process ...

Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
hohochan657 commented on Timothy M.'s story chapter in Prompt 544 It’s time to bury the hatchet.
Hot ! Hot ! Hot ! (implied hotness for Friday night) I'm actually glad that things have been left unsaid / to our imagination ... Nelson and Eric are both young teenagers and this older person (me) really shouldn't be perving on their ... er ... anything ... -
A great piece of magical tale ! Bravo ! Charlie and Adrian seems to be more level headed than Kippy and Ricky i.e. they're less of the horny / hormones driven teenagers than their boyfriends ... I cringe at the mention of orgies (whatever the age of the participants) and I'm so glad that has been left in the background ... Oh my f-cking god, I AM the prudish spinster aunt that everybody loves to hate ...

The Legend of Treehaven Woods
hohochan657 commented on Valkyrie's story chapter in The Legend of Treehaven Woods
Yes we want more of this story ! Yay ! And we're getting it ! Double yay ! -
I thought faeries were fickle but I didn't know that they could be so callous and cruel ... it's just appalling ! Maybe Alvin would partner up with Garin t o get the laws changed in Faery so that no more changelings are created by heartless parents. Then both of them get to live happily ever after on a farm together raising crops and animals and children (through male pregnancy on Alvin's part with lots of sex scenes to satisfy your readers -> namely perverted old me)

Oh NO ! After reading the reviews I had to go back and re-read the ending ... Sh-t ! F-ck ! The gods had royally f-cked up the lives of Cay and Oak, separating them before they could start their lives together ... NO ! This is atrocious ...

Graeme, I've been reading many stories of different genres on this site; there're adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, romance stories. I do not know before reading Temporary Dads that day to day events in the life of an ordinary family in Australia would entail so much drama. Thank heavens for friends and relatives or Peter and Alan would have had a really hard time. I hate to say this, but sometimes mum really knows best !

A beautiful tale of friendship, sharing and love in many sense of the word. For me that is the Christmas spirit ... Thank you !

It is so heart breaking that tolerance or the lack thereof seems to be proportionately linked to social class in the UK, as shown in the prevalence of homophobia, racism, domestic violence etc. within the estates / public housing. But this maybe only my prejudiced view and / or stereotyping on my part ... Strangely, I bear Ste no ill will; although he broke Jamie's heart, he was living in a difficult situation; somehow I pity him and hoped he had a bit of Jamie's good luck and found true love (wishful thinking on my part). Er, everyone please don't roll your eyes at me ... X X as I think the, relatively, rough sex between Blaine and Jamie is touching on my upper limit to tolerate such shenanigans; any rougher in your description and I'd ring the police and report domestic violence (OMG I'm the nosy / meddling old maid neighbour that everyone loves to hate ...)

Wow ! How can you go from the depths of hell, to shifter universe, a detour to gods of Egypt and back to sixth form college within a breath that we take ? All those different details ... I'd be a blabbering mess of a schizophrenic if there were that many voices in my head ... Bravo ! Sh-t ! Now I have one more on going series to catch up on every week ...

Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
hohochan657 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 37 Many Happy Returns
Yes ! More sex ! Yay ! I'm perving on my favourite pair of werewolves ... (not so great, need to get a hold of myself) What other surprise / gift / responsibilities / quest does the Earth Mother hold in store for Kellar and Tobyn ? Since I've been re-reading the story from the first chapter and all the reviews as well (only half way through this endeavour) I've had an epiphany ! Maybe some other reader has pointed this out: as Kellar is such a strong shifter, he seems to be free of the malaise plaguing Morning Star, does that mean he's originally (or his parents) from a very strong pack who's been out and about in the world ? So many questions and er ... so few answers ... Hope you had a joyous Christmas, Gary ! -
Oh YES ! Hot and steamy, s-x; and then warm and fluffy, puppy ! A great combination ! The chapter feels that much more authentic with the inclusion of care details as well as responsibilities for raising a puppy. Pitane will turn out to be a great dog under their care ! Oh no ! The last sentence, what will the reaction be from the panda (landlord and cousin) to the addition of a real canine in the house ? Will Emmett and Jian need to find a new house together ?

Is Alison nominated for a Canadian Screen Award ? Oops, this story isn't about her or Avery is it ? Apologies ... It's been ages since I've last visited Toronto, or Canada for that matter, so I have to google the right name for the CSAs, last I heard they were known as the Gemini or Genie Awards (as a matter of fact I only remember the Juno Awards off the top of my head, getting senile). Thank all ye gods for a persistent Ryan, or else there'll be a very unhappy Blake adrift in the world, for a while at least ! Yay, a happy beginning ! Oh another piece of Canadian trivia, what did the Princess of Wales theatre open, answer 1993, courtesy of google. I moved away from Toronto and Canada before it was open ... Anyhow, that last kissing scene was so romantic, hopefully more to come !

Gary, given that your member name is Headstall, it is no surprise that you'd know your way around horses. BUT surely you have put in a lot of effort to research life at the western frontier, the old Wild West; those details (boots care, prairie hens, sewing ...) just bring the story that much more alive ... Thank you ! Yay to more on Wiley and Cooper !
-
The circle of violence, it is so heart breaking ... Abusive parents are so toxic insofar as they spread the violence through their children ... I feel ill ... BUT at least this story gives us a ray of hope ... rejecting violence and feeling remorse, to working towards forgiving himself, we hope Ivan has a chance for redemption and ultimately happiness ...

A love (?) story written against a rich tapestry backdrop of ancient Egyptian gods and goddesses ... The interaction between the characters are fraught with tension (very good), the sex scenes are just explicit enough (excellent) ... However the dialogue is filled with modern day lingo which makes the whole tale easier to read but would it be better to use a somewhat more formal tone ? Just curious ... Anyway, thank you for your amazing work ! P.s. anyone interested should click on the discussion forum link and read my slightly crazed mini rant

Wow ! Two big burly delivery men, red overalls, a snow storm, wet clothes, shared warmth, naked bodies, an insulated cardboard box ... What more can one add to this exciting scenario? A kiss at the end, nearly perfect ... okay, okay, I was secretly pining for a sizzling, explicit sex scene (which I know you're fully capable of delivering); BUT that's just my inner slut talking, just don't tell anyone else ... OH SH-T ! I've totally forgotten this is a public forum ...
