    @Myr had the 2019 Writing Goals thread, so I decided to do the 2020 one. My 2020 goal is to publish more. I have a ton of stuff I've written, none of it completed yet, but I've written a ton of stuff over the past year. See if I can get inspired by the Anthology Themes. As it sits, no so much.

    The series is based on the Video Game series of the same name, and I think more specifically the events in The Witcher 3. Don't have Netflix, so can't comment on it more than that.

    Yeah, I can't find the link right now, but there was an update about statuses automatically changing. But if I recall correctly its timed based on the last time the Author has logged in on the site.

    It seems that when you go to Activity and choose All or Status Update that it is stuck in Expanded Mode. Tried to switch to condensed version and it goes through its reload, only to pop back out as Expanded. Laptop running Win10 and Firefox Samsung Galaxy with Android on Chrome. Cleaned cookies and caches on both devices.

    Never played Cypher System, but have played other systems that Monte Cook has been apart of. Mostly D&D. I would say it would be a good product based on that. I've always been one to advocate using RPG style rules to keep Sci-Fi and Fantasy stories in the realm of plausibility. Already pushing the boundaries in those genres, but having a framework to keep from "God Modding" characters, especially in action scenes, and just what characters can do.

    The Air Force already had a Space Command division, so they just made it full branch and expanded its role. As the first country to have an official branch of service dedicated to Space, I guess we get to set the rules now.

    Yes. I typically have more research material on my characters/story than what I use. In my current project, I did a lot of research on Indian Heaven Wilderness and the surrounding towns but about 3% of what I wrote down is being used. Also, ended up adding a fictional eatery because there wasn't a real one that fit with what I wanted.

    There's a video where she and Daniel Radcliffe are having a conversation about the Harry Potter series while they were filming the last movie. Daniel brings up Dumbledore being Gay, and why it wasn't in the books. Paraphrasing, she knew he was Gay from the start, and his sexuality had no baring on Harry's story, so why flaunt it. She mentions that in Half-blood Prince the Movie, she had to nix a line that Dumbeldore says in the beginning about being attracted to a young lady. Paraphrase qutoe, "I wrote on the script, and handed it back, No... Dumbledore is gay, he wouldn't say this." She also admits she told, Alan Rickman that Snape loved Lilly, and it would eventually come out.

    After several months, in development, and by bipartisan approval, the United States Space Force, USSF, is now a reality. It was established today, December 20, 2019 as an independent branch under the leadership of the United States Air Force. Official Site: https://www.spaceforce.mil/ Things are going to be rolling out in the new branch over 2020-2021. Posting this here, for information for my fellow SciFi writers that use real world military units. At first glance, and for the time being, they are using the USAF Ranks and Uniforms until things can be formalized over the next 18 months.
