  1. It's been awhile. Currently, we are working through a devastating loss. Our Danny passed away several days ago after a brief illness. tim is ... I don't know, heartbroken, grieving, as am I. He is online sometimes, but likely won't say much for a while. I do hope you'll read his anthology story and leave your thoughts on it. That would make him smile a little. Thanks. I'll be around.

    Chapter 1

What a gorgeous, rich, mentally stunning story. Many of us hold trees in high regard and I will never touch another without remembering the last lines of this wonderfully written story. Thank you for this one, tim. xo
  3. A beautifully woven tale of ancient beings, the natural world and a wrong that needs to be righted. tim uses the backdrop of Japan and their ancient tree spirits, the Kodama. It's a story that should not be missed. Bravo.

    Beautiful, my boy.
  6. Thanks all. Not a big celebrator of birthdays but I appreciate it. Hope you all have a great Saturday.
  7. You can't just drop this very old saying in here without saying a bit more, A. The world is very much different now. Are you saying Jefferson would have thought killing kids was okay by him? Or that this saying justifies armed resistance? Or that activism and sacrifice is necessary to keep to keep liberty alive and well?
  8. A successful enterprise from what I can see. I think it's rather cruel to drag an employee out on a Saturday. Poor Will must have been worried. Worked out however since they both had the hots for each other. Nice job, tim.
  9. Has his killing brought any changes? I guess one is not enough.
  10. But it did happen. And until something is done, it will not stop. The people have to make it happen. I guess it just isn't bad enough yet.
  11. No we are not shocked. The list of mass killings deserved the silence it got. Horrific that this is just accepted as part of life. It's normal for children to be shot to death. That says it all.
  12. This is the truth for many people. Life should be grabbed and embraced, yet so many are afraid to fail, afraid to take that step. I understand why this is so for some people. Usually they are responsible for others, especially children, so they put their own dreams aside. If I had children I would have done the same. But as soon as the little darlings are out the door... I'd make some dreams come true. This is a wonderful poem, tim. I especially like; morning's gold and evening's silver. Wonderful imagery. xo
  13. Thank you. It's just some side effects which are common. That was a first however. I could live without going through that one again, if I'm honest.
  14. Hi all. tim is doing okay. At least today he remembers who I am. Trust me, having your husband look at you and say, "Do i know you?" Is a little on the freaky side. At least he believed the nurses when they told him who I was. His headache is better and he's doing okay. He and Dan spent a quiet day at home. It was beautiful out so they sat in the garden, read, talked and drank iced tea. He says he'll see you tomorrow. I hope you're all doing well.
  15. Just stopping by to say tim won't be around today. He had a procedure done today and has a nasty headache. We'll see how he's doing tomorrow. Thanks and I hope you are all keeping well.
  16. You should watch them. They are very good.
  17. Haha. Poor tim tried the obvious: You Shall Not Pass!
  18. Hmmm, seem to have a shortage of participants here. LOL
  19. Short, sweet, interesting and fun to read. I liked the detective and the police procedure in this story. It would be nice to read more about Detective Ross. I recommend reading this wonderful short story.

  21. Good s'mores are poetry. That's true. Now like I'm being herded into the kitchen to provide my version of 'help'.
