I think one of the keys to Robert’s writing is the excellent pacing of his stories. Nothing seems rushed or dragging. A great skill for a storyteller…

An intriguing chp. Enjoyable visit to Thomas’s place of work and now the possibility of a weekend in a spa. I know what my answer would be! Man up, Keith!
  5. Fast on the heels of the second detective Ken story we get the next installment- what’s happening with the love-struck teachers at Tom’s school? Be careful, these characters are becoming addictive!
  6. An excellent example of the power of repetition adding force to an intense seasonal piece. Very nice. 😊

  12. Having decided to treat myself to a complete read through of the Ravello series, I can’t believe I omitted to review this opening salvo. The author dazzles us with a prose as beautiful as the lemon groves surrounding Ravello and with a great skill in characterization and storytelling. For me, this series is one of the jewels of GA.
