This is an enjoyable story! I like it but with the pace of updates, I don't want to have to reread the whole thing every time a story comes out. If you can't pick up the pace, I recommend completing all chapters then release them on a schedule. You can still get input and revise along the way. If an update happens so rarely, I can't follow because the details of the story will be forgotten by then.
Assuming Bailey received his injury in the Navy, he would be getting ~$40,000 tax-free a year in disability payments which could go up to $60K depending on other factors. He would also have free healthcare & adaptive devices.
If you get Global Entry from the state department, there is a border ID card you can carry that lets you go to Canada and back. I think its good for Mexico too. There is usually a special line for cardholders. I miss driving across the border for high school dates and similar activities.
I appreciate the conversation on this topic and the variety of viewpoints which have been expressed. I'm surprised and delighted by the above quote, which is my favorite response so far. How unexpected and creative!
I see your point. I like it when relationships develop slowly and take their time. For me, that's the most exciting part. For Jimmy, he has a lot to get used to and its nice to see Rich letting it happen at a comfortable pace for him.
I'm enjoying this, but at the pace of new chapters, I had forgotten the original story. I ended up re-reading the whole thing over the last two days. Can't go through that again.
I'm reading this a second time cause I lost track w/ recent updates. This was a perfect place to end! that "one more chapter" is now 30! Reading on.....
I think it can work , but it rarely does in actuality. I'm married to a wonderful wife. She knows about me and would probably let me go have fun with a dude, but to me, my family and her are more important. My desire for family stability is greater than my (majority) sexual desires. Part of being grown up is sacrifice. For me its worth it. As a kid, its different - then I'd tap everything in sight!
I'm enjoying the story but have a question for people. Overnight, our Prince and Victor 'went 4 rounds'. Are people happy or impressed that the pairs in these stories have repeated sex a high number of times? I never take it seriously myself and don't think it really does anything for the story. I guess you could say that Vampires are sexually voracious.
I really doubt much bullying is going to be happening at the end of senior year. Kids are happy and thinking about leaving. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying this.
This is on the right track in a couple places. I liked the discussion with the grandfather and the apartment. The part of the car seemed a little too good to be true, kind of like getting a bunch of Christmas presents. I did enjoy reading more, especially with a bit more detail.
This chapter was rather confusing (I've read all the Riding Lessons) and felt there was a lot of information being thrown my way. The ending made, darn it, made me want to find out what happened, though.
