  1. Thank you for commenting and the encouragement, this is the last chapter of this story but in time there will be more stories to come.
  2. During his time in Israel Tom learned that Emmanuel Joseph Goldstein was held in high regard and loved by many in Israel, all of whom considered themselves family. He only knew of one other man who could match that much respect, that is his old CO, Major Alexander Byron Oxley or The Ox as they affectionately called him. He knew that Ian and Kevin appreciated the influence that the two men had on their lives, he hoped that Benjamin and Joseph would also appreciate their influence. *****

    The Marine

I'm loving' this, it makes me want to on a Mediterranean cruise my self. I don't need to ask if other readers would like to cruise the Med, I know it would be most, if not it would be EVERYONE, lol.

    Chapter 1

Thank you Terry, your comments mean a lot to me.
  5. I think Benjamin would be a fine addition to this growing family, but they will need to check on the requirements for Ariel to be able to travel to the UK. Tom and Dick's association with Ox/The Major is more understandable when you think back to a meeting in The Grenadiers Arms, when Jacob met them at his boss's office he made reference to previously used code names, when you take those meetings into account connecting the dots is easy. The next and final chapter is currently being finalised before posting.
  6. His expectations are high but we all need goals to strive for in our lives, some are easier to achieve than others. A compassionate doctor would be a good addition to the medical profession.
  7. They will do what comes naturally to them, we all know that will be something good.
  8. We all make simple harmless but sometimes messy mistakes, it's part of the learning process and growing up. This is a funny one that is based on a mistake made by one of my nieces when learning how to bake, I laughed till I cried when I saw her covered in flour.
  9. Joseph's questions are understandable, it's not just being inquisitive he will have to adjust to a different way of life, luckily living with Isaac and Shamira has already given him a taste of what being part of a family means. He will have more questions when he arrives in the UK, the weather will be another thing he will need to adjust to. As for the air-con it is now put away till next year when I'm sure it will put to good use again, the seasons are changing and soon I'll be turning on the heating.
  10. I'll have you know that Associated Executive Car Services are an excellent provider of chauffeured transport, but yes they do have 'specialists' for some of their 'special' contracts, lol.
  11. That's still the plan.
  12. I can only describe Jacob a delightful lad, he loves easily and is very loyal to those he loves, surprising really when I know what he's gone through. I've still got my fingers crossed for the lads, it's going to take a lot to achieve their goals.
  13. What you know is always good, so researching the subject is always a good place to start, but sometimes it's who you know that helps the most.
  14. The Major's contacts are UK based and have affiliations in many countries, we will just have to see what can be done. An adoption will be difficult, can it be done? Let's hope so. Manny taught the lads many things, one was how to be a good employer, only good employers can hope to have good trusted employees and Sean is loyal to both Ian and Kevin.
  15. I hope that like me you have your fingers crossed for them in their endeavour to help Joseph. 🤞
  16. For many a first love is just that, a first love that fades and goes on to further 'loves', in their case it was a true and lasting love that still continues.
  17. Thank you for reading and thank you for your support. Your comments are valued and I enjoy reading them.

    Part 7

Like all of us Christian has experienced some low times in his life, but let's remember that he also had many of life good experiences too, the most important being unconditional love. It our life experiences and how we deal with them that make us the people we are, the same is true of Christian and the other characters in this and other stories.

    Part 6

Chris and Gary were good friends in the past, it's just a shame that they lost touch with each other, but hey the good news is they are in contact again and their friendship flourishes. As for Gary and Eduardo well, let's just say love can sometimes be found when you least expect it.

    Part 5

Unfortunately the 'Simons' will continue to exist, they are a part of life that I would not wish on anyone. Christian's loss is sad, more so in his case, but all it is a loss that we all have to suffer at some point in life. I won't be easy but he needs to find a way to come to terms with it and move on, as we all do.
  21. As I've been trawling through the story archives I've read many of these stories and enjoyed the experience. If anyone hasn't read them I recommend they do, I can guarantee some good reading.

    Part 4

Some people experience unconditional love, others don't, after his traumatic experiences I wanted John, now Christian to experience something positive. I glad that like the names he chose and hope it clears up any confusion that I purposely caused in earlier chapters, I hope I'm forgiven for that. And yes our young man chose those names out of love and respect.

    Part 3

This is the start of a future for all of them together, I hope that like me you will wish them well.

    Part 2

I'm staying tight lipped, I know you are reading on to discover more.

    Part 1

I can't say anything, but adolescent crushes can sometimes have a lasting effect.
