For somebody who says he doesn't like courtroom scenes you know how to write a great one. The 20 women reminded me of a U.S. senate hearing to confirm a currently sitting Supreme Court justice.I won't say the name but you can probably guess the name. In that one he was accused of sexual harassment from a former co-worker and here's where things are similar 12 other women were waiting in the wings to testify to the same thing.....they were never called to this day I wonder why. As biased as Judge Krustypants is even he now can see how much of a POS Calvin is.If he somehow finds a way to rule in Calvin favor I think he knows that could cost him. Perhaps I was too kind when I referred to Roger as Phil's jack ass son. Having said that I will say by Phil's own admission he married Eloise so he would not go to Vietnam.Although it was her idea was he using her? Phil said he hurt Eloise deeply Roger probably saw how hurt his Mom was and when he found out the truth about Phil he got very angry.Up to that point very understandable. Where Roger loses me is when Phil said “He actually told me that he didn’t want me anywhere near his son because he was afraid that I would molest him.” That was such an asinine thing to say.There are two possibilities here one Roger really believes that making him a moron and perhaps Phil's grandson following the same path.Or Roger doesn't believe that and said what he said with the intention of hurting Phil .Still wrong bur perhaps that could be fixed.I'll reserve further comment until Phil and Colin talk about Roger in the next chapter.
