I was going to put a reaction to this chapter until f-ing Nettleman appeared.Remember when Nettleman took offense when Parker's dad implied he was a racist? Well let's review a little bit “Hell,” he replied. “I wouldn’t think of eating in that place.” “It’s a nice place,” I responded defensively. “I had a nice meal. Why wouldn’t you eat there?” His expression grew angry. “I just wouldn’t, and you know why.” “Because it’s Black?” Well that should say it all. Too bad the recorder on Parker's new phone wasn't operating.We also see how petty Nettleman could be. He was just waiting for Parker to do something so he could pounce.This called for a detention or something like that not a suspension.One thing to watch for now last chapter we found out Nettleman is suppose have a meeting with a couple of Basketball that were involved in the incident at the game if he goes light on them Parkers Dad I'm sure will get into Nettleman's face about it after the punishment he applied to Parker. Wow this author doesn't mess around.Darius is going to Harvard ? Whoa.I'm sure the idiot racists in Somerset despite seeing what happened on the video justify their support of the police officer by claiming Darius was acting like a gang banger just wait until it's revealed that Darius got accepted to Harvard I'm sure the news can't wait to report that.How many in Somerset can say that?

I find it scary how everybody here always finds the appropriate GIF's to post especially the feet ones( I think the readers are extra motivated to find the feet GIF's because we all know how much @kbois loves them)

I guess Jay being there this was a scheme by Matt and Seamus despite the possible unintended consequences good on them😀 most readers were thinking Lars helping this thing along but Matt and Seamus makes more sense although I'm glad Lars expressed the hope that Loren picks "Life with Jay" I guess there's pattern in Loe's life.His made some stupendous f-ups working on his house but he learned now he's close to making a colossal f-up with Jay but hopefully he'll learn in time🤞( I know that they get back together but it sound off to speak of this in the past sense since we are seeing what's happening) I get the grand gestures but seriously what the heck was Jay suppose to do with 1,400 flowers?

When I heard them mentioned membership fee I thought people being people some will grumble but most will give it some thought when they see all the changes.Would the two dingbat girls pay a fee?Doubt it.Ban them anyway

Just thought of something may not happen but I'll throw it out there. Alec might be minutes away from getting on the plane and then he finds out his Mother died.Will he then stay for the funeral?And if he does well I can see him being there listening and hearing people from the church saying nice things would he then have one of those moments where all the words he's withholding will then spew out

This probably won't be the case but I hoping the Therapist says something that makes a lightbulb go off or at least plants a seed in that addled mind of Alec maybe after that a conversation with River or maybe even Kenji or maybe dare I say his Dad or a combination of all of the above can get Alec to do what is obvious to not only to all the readers here but also River and Milo who had pretty much the same thought. Tell you what though if the Therapist manages to point Alec in that direction then he or she should get a Nobel prize I'm sure there is some category that would fit here

I like other readers am also scratching my head about the bathrooms..Are you going to have Armand explain that in dialog in the next chapter?I was never is a super posh restaurant but through my step dad who was in the Navy I went to a fancy Officers Club I swear their bathrooms were nicer then most people houses When the man from the furniture store agreed to go to the club with Armand I was reminded of a TV show called Bar Rescue where the host of the show takes a dump of a bar and remodels it.He does good work maybe Armand can talk to him😄

Had I been reading this back when It was first posted I would have thought this was the end but I see it still has 8,000+ more words to go🤔 I like the way things panned out. Makes me optimistic on how the other story might end. Oh Yeah I'm thinking this is going to take longer then it should given Loren's personality.Man the chapter was going too good I guess but this wouldn't be realistic if something like this didn't happen. Here is something that will happen years into the future (yes I believe there will be a future with them)When Taylor and Derek have kids and they visit Jay and Loren THEY will walk in on them while...you know.Hey it's now an established family tradition. Speaking of family or in this case lack of family it can be argued because Loren had two great people like Mike and Julia to take him in that Lars actually got the shittier end of the stick.That his parents gave Lars the non explanation pretty much says it all.I think if they told Lars what they were really thinking it would have been worse

Dillan's family is certainly interesting.It's way too early in the story to tell of course but I wonder since there has been no mentioned of Zeke's family that it might be a different situation in his case.

Boy I hadn't even noticed that it was getting near the end.The therapy session was very interesting. Judging by how everything was described Ophelia,Lillith and Cara was giving Seth and Noah space Seth was chiding himself for being a terrible BF but he's not.He's the best

Rafe was obviously unaware of whatever he was imbibing and while he's a superhuman and take care of himself he almost got his friend Andre hurt.Something I hope he considers in the future
