The Richard at the beginning of the story and the Richard that showed up at the principal's office and told that Matthew Shepard story seemed like two different guys.I guess the only explanation for that is the story Freddy told when Richard stated crying at the dinner table the day Richie moved out and Richard and his wife went to their bedroom and stayed there for the rest of the night.I guess how he behaved hit him all at once but it looks like it changed him.

While reading this chapter a question in mind came up but it was soon answered when Charlie thought to himself that maybe one day they''ll let the parents know everything.I can picture Charlie's parents talking with relatives over their successful business but when they ask what is they do"Well erm we don't know" so I have to think maybe in a future story that will have to be talked about.I also wonder how they do their taxes since some of their business involves interstellar credits if the IRS did an audit how would they explain that? Horace said" I don't get that the phantom is being aggressive, or even ill-intentioned." But the title of the story is There's A Devil In The Dark so that tells me the Phantom might end up being evil.

I guess authors who write mysteries like this need incompetent police to make this work.Their idea of kids playing a prank with the trash cans is feasible but the cars are impossible to explain what do they think happen there?Somewhere between 5-10 car thieves got together hot wired all the cars and parked them at Horace house?While nobody saw anything?You would think the police would at least be curious. One good thing though is that they didn't ask Horace why all the cars was parked at HIS house. I think Horace is right about the phantom being there because of him and as soon as Charlie and company showed up with their swish the phantom decided to up his game.Charlie referred to the Phantom as a him like I just did.Hmm maybe the Phantom has a crush on Gretchen

I'm doing this review so there will be the deserved five stars next to it and hopefully it might get some people to read this.It's in one sense it's a classic story of total opposites being attracted to each other one who's sweet natured, small, shy ,timid and a brainiac the other a loud extroverted former star athlete type and somehow they managed to make it work.There is also plenty of drama from both of their families so the journey these two have is definitely interesting.This is somewhat more gritty then the typical GA story of this type but as a result it makes it more real. A good read.

So happy things are working out Trent became a better person because of Kayden.I pretty much guessed what Emma was going to be maybe not exactly in a band but something like that A few more random thoughts glad Chase is out of Trent's life I Bet he's paying at least a couple of other ex wives along with Diana.And Trent and Kayden made friends with their loud lesbian neighbors somehow they fit right in. Thank you for a great story

When Horace spoke of thing being moved like the garbage cans and he said people kept falling asleep and never saw it happen isn't there some way they can use some kind of video surveillance?That seemed obvious to me but maybe I'm the one missing something.

I have to wonder what J.J. meant by the last line in the chapter 'Even so, I couldn’t help but think there was something I was missing that was right in front of my eyes.' When this author isn't writing he has to be eating all the time the way he writes about food this is the only author that makes me hungry after reading his chapters.Do any of you remember a show on the Travel channel called Man Vs Food the show went from town to town profiling the most awesome looking food in the city's restaurants.Makes me wonder if this guy was the host of the show.

Both you and @Mattyboy may be right but I see it this way after recovering from a rape(something you don't ever completely do) and having another boy cheating on him big time Trent thinks he knows enough about Matt to know this is the right guy.He explained that his parents wanted to know about every guy he's. met since the rape so it makes perfect sense that he would be talking to them about Matt.It also explains why the Parents seem so excited about Matt they sense he's the right guy also

Interesting stuff.Puppy seems to have stuff in common with both Joey and Jack.Before I say anything else Jack's attitude toward Noah is a very bad thing for everybody but especially for Noah when he's gets older take that with everything else Joey said has happened and I think a divorce might be the right thing to do if things don't change. Puppy knows it's not right to make a move on Joey and I was thinking Joey would make the move but maybe just maybe Jack might make the move. 14 missed calls from Hunter?Sound like a obsession combine that with Hunter's temper and I see that going bad also.Be careful Puppy- 10 comments

I wonder if Javier having Justin at that gathering with the cameras on them was calculated.These guys sound pretty evil and it's not hard to see why Neil doesn't like them.Having said that I don't see Neil going against his cousins and West should know that.

First off I hope,I hope,I really hope that the Judge that is going to rule on Hayden's case reads Stephanie's story over the weekend and then realizes that he would be making a mistake better yet have Matt go with Trent and Mr London to the hearing and make a statement. Meeting the Parents was interesting judging by the way Debbie was speaking I bet she and Aunt Marie are from the same side of the family. I wondered before if Stephanie was going to use Matt's actual name in the story she went farther than that she used his picture.I have to think there is going to be some contact from people from Matt's past.

Hunter grabbing Puppy's arm like that is a good sign that he's breaking it off at the right time I think it can escalate to the point of Hunter hitting Puppy.With that in mind move back to your Dad's house RIGHT AWAY!!! So Joey made as much of an impression on Puppy as Puppy did on Joey.When Puppy goes to Chariots does he just want to talk? Or does he hope more will happen?He is aware of Jack so I hope he doesn't do that.

What is the deal with Darren? I am in no position to judge anyone but I'll never understand people's interest in scat.I hope Darren doesn't have to hit rock bottom before getting help. I agree with @VBlew the only reservation J.J. has with Henry is he is underage right now but I see subtle signs from Henry that it may be more then just having a little fun I suspect it may run a little deeper with him. I think it's really cool of J.J to want to visit the Rodriguez family and Larry and Greg can't wait to see that

I knew when Puppy said to Hunter you can't afford to get in any fights that something happened in the past and it would be an ongoing problem but I didn't think it would be so soon before the end of the chapter. That is so great that you had characters from other stories overlap in this story the possibilities are endless I already have one thought about what may happen but I'll wait to see what transpires first before expressing it.Now just don't go nuts like Ethen and Jake going to the club and then Colin shows up looking for them and then gets Hunter mad and...well you know... I think I'll stop now
