Isn't anybody surprised Joel agreed to play baseball pretty easily? “There’s no animosity coming from the guys about you joining up, they’ve been busting my ass to get you on the field.” “Really?” I asked, letting out a breath I held when he started talking. I could see that exchange being a start to Joel changing his mind but this was still too quick IMO. he grunted but smiled at me. “Braden, huh.” I know Colt was joking about that but this IS a small town who knows Braden might have some allegations. aimed his way the way people are. As far as number 0 goes 25 players in the NFL wear that these days and 2 players in the MLB wear that number so it's not that unusual anymore

Yep, and it was Brad’s idea to keep it a secret. Damn, you should see your face, Lyn. Loosen up a bit. It’s nothing serious.Really🤔 It would be interesting to see his reaction in the future if he finds out somebody been blowing his BF If I'm Lyn I tell myself don't get involved in their BS drama say nothing, although I might make a few cryptic comment to Brad about being good to your wife .BTW I don't rule out Brad was in on this having Luke text Lyn etc.

The inspector should have read my previous chapter comment and found a way to keep Azzopardi and Ryan away from the hospital until they got Shane. They won’t see us and won’t be able to follow. Then we’ll come back later for your car. Is there any decal or something in or on Helen's car that identifies here a police officer? I'm thinking someone else should get Helen's car.Listen to me this time😄 ‘Yeah. Elvira said she was tied up and would call me back, but I couldn’t get hold of Jimmy, just his voicemail. I’ll try him again this morning.’ I nodded, but I didn’t say anything, as a somewhat uneasy feeling began creeping into the pit of my stomach. Oh crap that sounds like something might have happened to Jimmy Tan ‘Like what you see?’ he teased, while giving his – obviously uncut – junk a bit of attention. ‘Well, I’ll say this much . . . that Jimmy sure is a lucky bastard,’ I replied, while trying my best to keep any and all impure thoughts at bay. Rick has a tough job but it does come with some benefits though😄 I think I'm coming down with something ...What hospital did you say Nick was working at

Very suspenseful set up and resolution very well done. Clint isn't going to give up is he? I have to believe law enforcement is going to want to speak to the four and then there's the possibility of testifying in court so they better work on cover story, Happy Thanksgiving @Bill W and to all the readers

Yes, I meant to name the chapter SSSS... it has a meaning that we learn fairly quickly. Surely, you can't be serious. I am serious, and don't call me Shirley. When I first saw the title S,S,S,S I thought of the time I hit my thumb with a hammer ,I went S---,S---,S---,S--- “So,” Shane said, scooting closer with a grin that was pure chaos, “what precious secrets did you learn about me?” “Just that you’ve got the smallest dick of the whole bunch,” I said deadpan. That would mean he also knows who has the biggest dick of the whole bunch.....I wish I had Noah's ability

I hope Creek chooses his word carefully and finds the right way to say certain things. Yes I'm #Team Dailan but Marvin has been through some stuff he didn't deserve and if he had any thought in the back of his mind about Creek this could be a bad time to hear about the developments between Creek and Dailan

I think Carter's persistence will be part of his downfall

Self-Hatred....Yes Please
weinerdog commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Self-Hatred....Yes Please
The reason I interpreted the way I did is the passage "he knew the boy was big enough to do anything and he would be powerless to stop him" If Dylan realizes that then you can be sure Ryan did. There also the line "He knew what was going to happen as much as he didn't want it to happen. " And then Dylan started to shed tears but Ryan didn't give a damn. So legally at least it falls short of rape but to me it wasn't unreasonable to think it could come to that In any case I hope Ryan gets his comeuppance -
Forgot to mention this “Don’t play dumb with me. I know you well enough to know that you invited that kid here to act as a buffer. Well, that’s not going to work, I’m telling you.” OH really!!! As opposed to you and Arthur showing up at dinner to gang up on Creek like it's a freaking intervention. Dawn have you heard the saying "Those who live in glass houses.....?
-
Woody wasn't there at the dinner but the fact he text Creek tells me he knows the details of what their parents and Arthur and Dawn are worried about and Woody texting "Don't worry. I got your back " tells me at the very least he is not as extreme as the others are.
-
Creek is how old? 26? And they treat him like he is still in middle school. I would not be surprised if Forest can sense it. At least Woody is there .Is Woody more outspoken then Creek ?I bet you he is and he probably has said or will have said some interesting things to say

I was so bummed when Josh got kidnapped last chapter but WOW! That escape was awesome the other Josh or "other me" as Josh says is one badass. They are going to have to find out who's responsible for all the disinformation. My only disappointment in the chapter is we didn't get the scene where Elenore get ripped a new one.

I wanted to leave an angry emoticon at first but the scene with Dailan changed that. I'm hoping with Creek's mom it is more of a cultural thing and ignorance by not having too many interactions with gay people but jeez enough time should have passed for her not to believe all this nonsense. He’s Asian too. Chinese American. Was that mentioned before? I don't recall. Well here is another possible dumb ass issue .Historically Japanese and Chinese people have had some animosity toward each other from what I understand from the Japanese military actions in China during WW11. This may sound lame but the Bruce Lee expressed that sentiment. My long winded point is will Creek's family have a problem with Dailan because he's Chinese. Given how they reacted to Marvin you can't rule it out

Does the baseball coach still want to speak with Joel after this? If he's able to get Joel to join the team then he's in the wrong business .He should a peace negotiator for warring countries

The City of Eternal Spring
weinerdog commented on LittleBuddhaTW's story chapter in The City of Eternal Spring
Hunter's dad mentioned scholarship students from poor areas so I was thinking that .True one has to be exceptionally smart to get a scholarship at that place but intelligence doesn't mean character they could still have a clique mentality with not good intentions. But after reading that snippet again I now think not and Miguel did use the word cute so that might be a clue to the group of boy's motivation -

There was no one else to leave me with – other than my elderly grandparents, but I couldn’t imagine a more boring lifestyle depending on what one may have gone through I bet boring would be AWESOME A lot to take in this chapter so I'll reserve comments as we readers get as been mentioned in the chapter "The lay of the land" Interest how a group of five Colombian teen boys sought Hunter out.I can't help but think they made the equation gringo equals money(Although Miguel have something else in mind) Maybe this wouldn’t be a disaster. Hunter is apparently unfamiliar with GA stories- 53 comments

I'm sure you're going to explain everything in the story but the danger you describe would it have been an option Hunter's dad to leave him with relatives in the states? I assume that's where they are arriving from. It doesn't take much an imagination to see Hunter getting a target on his back

Guys like ArthurCreek is a good guy so he won't tear Arthur a new one but when he finds out about this there are two things I want him to ask .First I want him to say "So what you say about Marvin you're also saying about me" (That would be a hell of a way to come out huh?) and second "I have feelings for a guy who's still a teenager does that make me a pedophile predator?"( I bet Arthur would think that)
-
I agree with all the comments I have a thought in the back of my mind but I won't ruin anything by stating it,Besides I don't think this author would do that. Speaking of not jinxing anything what do you think @drsawzall Cailan or Dreek? That second one needs work
