I can’t imagine what kind of author the characters are referring to at the end? I mean, who would do that????

I wonder if Aunt May didn't go to the doctor because she knew what was wrong and didn't want to die in a hospital? Regardless, Marc was left high and dry by the person who should have there for him. Will he be able to forgive him? What Sawyer does and says now will really show Marc what kind of guy he is. Tragedy can bring out the best in some people and the worst in others. I hope we have already seen the worst of Sawyer.

Whatever disappointment Marc experienced in the past is preventing him from moving on. He considers himself a coward, and to be fair, I have called him that. But he seems now to be reluctant to come out, not because of fear of rejection by friends, but because he might be rejected by Sawyer. And speaking of Sawyer, just what did his grandfather do that hurt his mother so much? Most of the divide between the brothers seems to be centered around this event, with their personalities widening that divide.

There's no doubt that Finn is an ass, but I'll be interested to see how Marc responds. He is finally accepting that he is gay, but I doubt that he is ready to out himself to his entire crew. I hope Sawyer isn't too hurt by a work-related explanation for his evening visit. I'm also worried about May, maybe an intervention is necessary. Also a different kind of intervention wouldn't hurt Marc!

Ok, I'm worried Aunt May! Get yourself to the doctor! I liked the back and forth between our handsome heroes. I think that Reba and Tim know about " the secret". Rick is a bit clueless, he seems stuck in junior high, personality-wise.

Its hard to believe this is over after 2+ years! Thank you @Cia for this entertaining journey! I can see Essell happier exploring than most anywhere else, as long as Garjah and Bouncer are with him.

I believe that Ash just verbally committed to a long-term relationship with Cove: Well, there is always next year,” Cove taunted. "I am holding you to that…." Ash griped. “Deal.”

My favorite chapter so far! I love Bruce!!!!! Bonus -- Marc's wall is starting to show signs of toppling. Also, did I mention I love Bruce. Perhaps a story of his own might be in our future?

I can't help but wonder if we are unaware of some hidden reason Marc is staying in the closet. I mean if it's just the town gossip, he has admitted he already gets that. If he came out, it would just be different gossip. I can't imagine sweet Aunt May would reject him. What has caused Marc to hide so stubbornly?

My first memory when I heard Raquel passed was her hilarious episode of Seinfeld. I think Mark should take some advice from Jerry from another episode -- "not that there's anything wrong with it"! Really Mark, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay, I think even Aunt May might agree. Won't know if you don't try. Or is Aunt May and the town just an excuse to not put yourself out there?

Once he realizes that Bouncer figured out how to work the elevator will Essell finally agree that he is sentient?

I have family in Florida, where estate sales should be considered an Olympic sport! I love the start! I appreciate your writing style, you introduce information in such a natural, conversational way. I'm excited for this story to unfold.

For the record, I was screaming coconut (well, in my head, I’m reading this at work). When @weinerdogsaid Germans, I almost peed myself! Great chapter, even though The Stoners lost. I’m not going to hold a grudge.

This is a great mystery, psychological thriller, and love story. It will catch you quickly and hold you tight. I would suggest you not start until you have time to binge, but reading as it was posted was a fun ride. I won't give away any details not given in the summary, because guessing at scenarios is half the fun of reading a mystery.

Thank you so much for this ending, and for the whole story! I breathed a sigh of relief when I read this line: It wasn’t that he feared their reaction to the truth. He simply didn’t want to take the time to deal with it. If that was self-serving, then so be it. He deserved a bit of selfishness. That told me Jase's intentions from the start of his journey, not to home, but to closure. And he is Jase now, Michael is gone forever. I loved his encounter with Claire. I wonder if Phillip felt the same kind of soul-healing as Jase? This story is perfect as is, but a follow-up would be well appreciated.

The Korner Krew thrives on minute details and red herrings! We have adopted you as a favored author. This has been a great ride!

Yes!!!!! A bittersweet not quite yet ending. I'm encouraged by this not being complete. Great outcome for Macy, a better outcome would be for her to be adopted by Lucas and Jase! The best outcome would also involve your dear readers discovering Jase's background before he returns to stay with Lucas and Macy.

Oh Essell, I thought we were past this phase of me screaming at you while you do something stupid! Please let Bouncer be smarter than Essell!!!

I want to feel sympathy for Swift, if he is just trying to finish his last number and get his life back, but I can't. He destroyed too many lives along the way. I'm hoping that Lucas can be healed without endangering Macy.

Well our predictions were confirmed! Swift is a bad guy, but does he think of himself as a bad guy? Is he just doing his “job”, like Jase? Is he on his final number too!

I'd like to see someone try to send home the silly, stubborn, new vamp!

I think Gideon is going to try to kill the remaining brother. Is he his sire? Or were the discarded ashes from his sire? I am halfway sure that Gideon knows he is being followed by his bloodsong.

I have a different take on the boss. He was repeating what another "persuader" told him. He did kill Macy's parents because he thought her dad stole from him, but only because he was directed to think this way. Macy's dad didn't steal anything. The boss' inability to explain "he stole from me" under Jase's power is the real clue. Just like the HR guy from the hotel that was unable to explain why Macy's dad was "not a good fit" despite gushing about his skills. There is a bad guy with Jase's powers working against them. He probably has Macy.

Macy's mom said she hated lying to her. I'm pretty sure Macy knew, and is aware of everything. I'm certain there are no drugs involved and that Macy was always the target. Macy is the key to everything.
