My predictions: P is a man. Although this matters little to me. That he is happy and in love is what matters. Bryce is studying ballet. It's how he made money to afford the rings. P is studying music. Alex and Nico will make kick-ass grandpas!

I was reading this as I was eating dinner, homemade chili. The meats were cooked in my favorite skillet, a 110 year old cast iron #10! I have also trained first-ever-job teenagers over the years and have learned that I must be very very specific for many of them. What we feel is self explanatory or common knowledge, is not necessarily the case for kids. Great chapter, I'm really getting into this story.

As great as Spirit Wolves was, I think this is even better! There is a great combination of romance, action, mystery, and comedy! I happen to like well-written shifter stories, but even if it's not your favorite, this series stands on its own as great reading. And the comments are a hoot! I felt like I was part of a community enjoying and speculating!

As sexy as Kage was, don't forget about Jett the hot cop from When Opportunity Knocks! Sorry for being so late to the game, I was in a car accident driving home from work (no injuries, other than my car). At least the story was a bright spot for my evening!

Kavan is movin' on up to the Silver Spire. He threw a George Jefferson size temper tantrum, although not entirely unwarranted. I hope he learns to handle (at least outwardly) his temper better, he will need control to navigate the awkward relationship between himself, Konstantin, and Katherine. And for Gideon, that's going to be an interesting relationship!

Konstantin was attacked by some one. Delacour clan? Witch? Gideon? Why would Henri want to expose magical beings to humans? He may have been smarter than Elvira (love the name), but he was just as bat-shit crazy!

You brought back the memory of the joy of seeing wild dolphins from a boat for the first time. Although my boat was way smaller, I was much older, and did not have fancy camera glasses. But the joy and excitement was the same! I enjoyed the political discourse and the usual banter, as well. Thanks for the fun chapter.

I was having a conversation with a coworker recently about our difficulties finding good workers who will stay more than a year. She and I are in our early 50’s and have been at our company for over 15 years. Today’s 22 to 30 year olds do not patiently wait for a job to get better. We are going to have to figure out how to change or we will not have enough qualified employees. The type of employee patience shown 50 years ago is gone for good. Harold was due to retire in eight years’ time. Bill could wait it out. He was content enough here.

I love it when arrogant chefs get a verbal smackdown! It's the best part of cooking competitions. Sometime these kids don't seem realistic (since none of us were raised by a rich, famous, socially liberal gay couple), but the temper tantrum was spot on. I can see him being teased by his siblings (and Grandpa Cap) as a teenager with "I want slimies"!

My friend craned his head back against my belly, glancing up where he was curled over mine and Garjah’s feet. I scratched the underside of his jaw where the skin was softer. “Later,” I said. I would swear a gleam entered his eyes.
