My top three: Friends Friends Friends I've watched it so many times that all the cds are scratched and some episodes don't play. I need to get another copy. Glee and HIMYM get special mentions.

What do you do when you're feeling depressed, or stressed?

Reading any favourite book/story Watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S Writing Talking to someone -
Maybe you could try some yoga breathing exercises to relax while in bed. It helps to clear your mind. I haven't actually used it myself to sleep but my boyfriend does and it works for him. Worth a shot. Cheers Ieshwar

I don't know. The last time I tried to download it on my phone, it was "Hardware Incompatible". Seriously, I never had any sense of Gaydar. Looking at the responses, I wonder if it's not a myth... Cheers Ieshwar

It's a really interesting plot. The first advice I can give you is that you need to know a bit more about this world you're creating. Given that it is fantasy/sci-fic, it's your world. How is it? How will this develop? Maybe you should spend some time "roaming" this world and "talking" to your characters. I don't know if any other author does that but I do. (It sounds crazy but I was never sane to start with. ) And maybe you could base this fictional world on something real. Try to do some research about gays in very conservative societies and try to relate it to your world. Or research on gays in some period of time a few centuries ago where homosexuality was taboo. Just my few opinions. Hope it helps. Cheers Ieshwar

It's a great start. Your writing is top-notch. I'm already falling in love with Asher. He just exudes something... extra? An Oomph factor which you bring out very well. Michael is great too. Now, you better don't go killing them as in Shepherd's Crook.

Ohh, this was so cool. Great.

Happy Birthday, SidLove! Hope that you have lots of fun. (Apparently, cats are cute. I don't really agree. But IMO, this one is very cute.) Cheers Ieshwar

Big Big Big "Thank You" to Sharon (sat8997) Without you, Sharon, my stories would never have had the same impact and would have been a heap of typos and errors. Huge "Thank You"s to all beta-editors I had the chance of working with. Marty, Cia, Graeme, BeaStKid, Francois (Bondwriter), Sterling... you guys have helped me in many ways. Also a "thank you" to the WST Team for putting this Team Recognition Month. Very well done. And of course, "Thank you" to GA for being here for me. Cheers, Ieshwar

I really like Greg's entry. It has sweetness and cuteness sprinkled all over it. -
To Fanfiction or not Fanfiction: That is the question
Ieshwar replied to Lily Velden's topic in The Lounge
I really don't mind reading fanfiction. In fact, whenever I'm not on GA, I'm probably lurking on fanfiction.net looking for Albus/Scorpius stories. And Kai, I'm in the Group One. The reason I look for HP fanfiction is because the seven books are not enough. But that doesn't mean I will never read something un-canon. I've read un-canon stories which were really good. Anyway, the best thing about the future generation fanfic is that nothing is set as canon/un-canon.So yay. Keeping all this aside, I think the most important thing about fanfic is the fun. It's bring forth your way of seeing an imaginary world. It might not be the same as mine but that doesn't mean it's wrong. Whenever I see I read a fanfic that doesn't fit "my world of HP", I just move on and seek another one. This doesn't mean I hate it. If you want to write a fanfic for you, for your world, then do it. Have fun exploring that world and sharing it with the ones who are in the same place. Some may not like it or may not get it at all. But it's your world. Cheers Ieshwar -
Anthology: Whispers in the Dark Graphic
Ieshwar commented on Fishwings's blog entry in Fishwings' Blog
ohhhh. very nice. -
These were really well answered questions. I love the Ask An Author articles. GA has so many authors and most of the time, we know them only through their stories. The Ask An Author articles let us have a peek at the persons lurking behind those words. Great.

Thanks a lot for these kind words. Glad that the descriptions worked and that I managed to evoke the reactions I wanted.

Thank you. I left out the identity of the two characters to add to the poetic feel. I never realised that it could be interpreted in so many ways. So even unintentional, it worked. So yay!

Thank you, Jo Ann. This was my first GA Antho story. Back in 2006. It will always be special for me. So a huge thank you for reading this.

Heart-rending. She's a very strong woman. I don't know if I would have had such strength... Thanks for sharing Ieshwar

For a while, I thought this was you, Fishy. I can totally imagine you saying half-crazy totally true things like this. But then I realised that he looked younger than 21... Oh well. As a fan of Harry Potter, I solemnly declare Harry gay. Btw, am i the only one who find him cute? Especially with that accent. But I'm sure Fishy, you are just as cute. Cheers Ieshwar

The Forces behind "Six Seconds" - Quantum Physics meets Romance

Lol. You're so cute. I love Fishie too. -
Guess the difficulty level is pre-set with the number of beer cans/bottles you've drunk. 1-2 bottles: Easiest 2-4 bottles: Easy 5-7 bottles: Moderate 8-9 bottles: Hard 10/+ bottles: Holy Shit! Penguins are trying to kill me in the loo! Cheers Ieshwar

Amazing video. I loved the Google and Facebook bit. I think that Yahoo was missing with all its pointless stories no one really cares about. Thanks for the share. Take care, Ieshwar

The Forces behind "Six Seconds" - Quantum Physics meets Romance

I really like that cat thingy (Schrodinger? Complicated name, anyway. I mean the video, not the cat's thingy. Pervert! )Anyway, isn't this like probability? Something having a probability of 0.5? Like flipping a coin? Like if you flip the coin (with the hand covering the result). Until you remove you're hand, it's both head and tail. Because you don't know the results? Did I get it? Or did I just reveal that I can be really dense sometimes? Glad that you mentioned that in Six Seconds. And thanks for sharing that video. And by the way, why did he have to put the cat in? Couldn't just put the bomb in? Like you open the box to see if it has exploded or not? The probability would still be 0.5. Or just put an orange? or an apple? (could have made some radioactive milkshake) Why kill a cat? Thankfully, it's not a dog. Would have sued Old Alby (Einstein). Dog-loving Ieshwar -
Oh. I didn't see much of Chris. But after this chapter, I'm starting to like Dan more. I liked how he realized that if he doesn't want David and Jenna being together, it's his problem, not theirs. Very mature. Nice chapter.

Can I steal him, please? He's super adorable. My ideas: Wolf Seeker Druid Cheers Ieshwar
