Flip-Flop

Stephen has finally found someone that he feels comfortable being with, after so many years of being treated as an outcast. His mother has received a wake up call as to what her son has been experiencing for many years, but had kept his problems to himself. It took her son meeting a blind nonjudgmental boy as to Stephen's physical appearance, to bring these problems to light. Stephen and Michael's friendship, has already started to pay benefits as to her awareness, and to her understanding of the grief. her son has silently suffered for many years. I see that this is a positive move forward in what appears to be a very complex situation. I am loving this unusual friendship that the boys are now just beginning to form❣️ I am afraid it will become much more complex, as you add more characters into the mix.

Today is May 4th, marking 55 years since the day of the Kent State shootings in Ohio. We lived along a state route highway leading to the University, and my brother also attended KSU at the time. I remember the convoys of National Guard troops and trucks carrying tanks and other military equipment drive past our house on their way to the university. We are still haunted by what had taken place in our area, and around our country, during that scary time. Turmoil in our country, is not a new feeling for those of us, who are old enough to remember that time in our country's history. 😢

Wow! I wish that I could make so many important decisions and plans, as quickly and as well thought out as Ryan and Drew. They have always been exceptional at planning for the future, in their business, and personal lives. @Andre Delport has filled their schedules and in turn, his own, for many future chapters. Their lives and personal obligations continue to grow, right along with their expanding business empire. Our author is also exceptional at his own organization, and his eye for details❣️

I did watch the 2 and 1/2 minute race, but not the 5+ hours of TV coverage. Lucky me. I was flicking thru channels, and caught the important part, the actual 10 minutes of the very soggy race coverage. I went to the Derby, once around 50 years ago, and we watched from the infield. What a drunken crowd that was!

The diversity of the reader's reactions at the end of the chapter, reflect that readers of this story are varied as to which emotion this chapter has triggered. This should lead to some interesting comments as you have also said "I don't seem to write the stories, but the characters drive me." Maybe you too will be as intrigued, as your readers are, as to which direction they want to take us? How high will the hills be, and how low will the dips become, as this story wants to take on a life of its own? You take risks in your writings, and it is always kinda exciting to observe how things all turn out❣️ Hoping to witness you achieving another success with this drama, after reading such a unique chapter, with great characters. The parents appear almost as interesting as their children.

You captured our month of April, to a "T" in your month of verse!

Since they both are now carrying weapons, I would think they would also have a security function to preform, 💂‍♂️ now that they realize that the Lady in Black is in London. I would think that guards, are not a new or an unusual thing, around the Lord Chancellor. Better safe than sorry, would be my thinking.

We move on from embezzlement of funds at the bank, to the glowing of the Ra ring, and blessed guns, and trusted friends and lovers! Yes, the Lady in Black, is now in London, which signals dangerous times lay ahead. We also learned the mystery box contained the deed to the 1600-acre Ealdbridge Hollow estate. Apparently, "finders keepers" is the rule with possession of the deed and payment of back taxes. What a deal❣️ Besides valuable land, there are rumors of hidden treasures. This should be right up Reggi's alley, as far as finding hidden treasures goes. Yes, many changes took place in @Albert1434's bonus chapter. It is now time for everyone to bring forward their best vigilant behavior, to battle the coming threats posed by the Lady in Black. ,

Just the other night, I awoke to their happy song well before sunrise. They appear to be so joyful to greet the coming morning. It made me curious, as to why are they so happy to rush into the next day. Nature surrounds us constantly, but so many of us don't have or take the time. or make the effort to understand its many wonders. I always enjoy your observations of nature that you skillfully weave into so much of your poetry. It always gives me warm smile

I love bonus chapters!

I was surprised that all the pieces of furniture were able to speak proper "furniture English". I had expected to hear many different languages, which would cause them to have those numbered tags that they wear to gain higher and newer numbers, and leave them homeless, due to something called tariffs. How sad that would be for them, and the families that would have desired to provide them with good homes. Perhaps, we could learn something important from them❣️

Apparently this is an attack on several of the British Empire's banks, and not not Just Empire Bank, which Reggi holds a controlling interest. This is a direct attack that presents a co-orientated attack against the Empire's stability. Who all is involved in this besides Charles Kensingten? I hope he receives more then just a limp for his betrayal!

I had been wondering when the uncle and his "paedophiles" corrupted porn ring would catch up with our newly created family? Luckily they had been delayed by following the discarded debit card trail, giving the alerted police ample time to have studied how large and dangerous this case had become. The search to find Daniel alive around local Sydney surf beaches, has a new idea on a possible way to make contact, if he is alive, and around their area. We gained more information about Josh's state of mind, and the growing bonds of this supporting extended family. The tension of what may occur, fills the air within this story, and the reader's imaginations. Another growing suspenseful chapter in @Paladin's heart-wrenching, but yet hopeful tale!

Wow! You took this story prompt and ran with it, taking your readers into a shocking science gone wrong experience❣️ You provided the fuel to give us readers another emotional and thought provoking ride, thru the twists and turns of a @Lee Wilson imaginative adventure. This story gave us characters and situations to care about, and others to be extremely wary of. Well done! But there is also a promise of another visit with George and his new brothers. I am looking forward to that future tale.

Lee begins his effort to wrap up an ending to this story, that has raised the emotions, and a vast amount of questioning from his involved readers. First he gives us a glimpse at what will be known about the death cloud, and the efforts to recover from this disaster, by what remains of the USA, and its newly elected government. This gives us some outlook into the future, but also leaves us with some lingering questions, that may or may not be answered. This allows us to return to the press interview, and to what may happen with our group of survivors? George finds out his father is still alive. Where did ML get to? What will they choose to do, as they each attempt to establish their new possible realities? @Lee Wilson will continue to stir this pot of possibilities, for a few more chapters❣️

Reggi, and his assembled team established a firm hand at his rights to assume his control of the Empire Bank. He spelled out clearly what his leadership would mean to all concerned. His actions of a obtaining a complete audit of the accounting of the bank's books, was to be his first action, and an example his leadership. Any opposition to this action, would not be tolerated. Chief Pool's presence and comments, assured that Reggi had all the legal rights to assume his control of the banks board, and any objections to these legal rights, were useless. Today was viewed by his team, as a good first day of his leadership of the bank, and his intentions for its future operations. The past operations were now under very careful scrutiny. Any miss found in this accounting would be dealt with by swift future legal actions. The pot of the bank's assets will continue to simmer on the heat of the burner for right now.

🤔 Jonah's story of the accident appears to have been modified, and he omitted some important "guilt producing" information about the brawl in the car that night. I will let his reasons of why, to pass at this point in time. He really wants and needs to connect with his current life now. His has new strong bonds with his Aunt, Uncle, and his quirky cousins. Yes, Will fits like a glove for Jonah's desires, in this new life. A possible soulmate and boyfriend. I say, “Boyfriend it is.” I close my eyes. "This is how my summer begins." This was a very moving, and exciting chapter, and I am craving to read more from our author.

As a paying customer to a Best Western at the very height of the COVID experience, people adapted well to the hardships to the expected services provided. This is NOT a vacation or business trip, but a safe nest, for their unknown futures! It is time for everyone to do their part, to maintain a cooperative force, to deal with their possible futures. The only "reward points" they can expect to receive from this hotel visit, is a chance at their own survival.

The @Lee Wilson roller coaster is apparently ready to take off for a fast track "ride", into an unknown conclusion! Buckle up people, and prepare for the twists and turns of the next few chapters that are ahead of us, into our new world! Are power plays, or will Enhanced COVID versus Death Cloud battles, and World War 3, be our future? Just how can this very complicated story, come to an acceptable ending so quickly? Can you feel the pressure that must be now resting upon our author's shoulders? 😱 Please remain calm, and seated, until this ride comes to a complete stop❣️

First I was happily surprised to see Marie-Louise had done two good things. She took Larry back to the hotel where there were people who care, and then she was quickly turned around and left again. Lucky Larry❣️ The group learned that some areas of the country had survived, but little good news about their area,or the area of hundreds of miles around them. For the time being, they appeared to be on their own. This is the world wide web we are talking about, and we learned of little response or outside the area leadership being shown. They will need to prepare to survive on their own, but for who knows how long? @Lee Wilson expressed that the collapse of the federal government is not the worst outcome that they will hear about. 😱 What are the possible outcomes or changes that lay ahead for our small group, their country. and the future about the effects of the gas release? Many questions will need to be answered.

Not a big Reagan fan, but the phrase "trust but verify", is how I would chose to proceed. But I am not the author

And so it begins! Who opened the letter and why was it set aside as unimportant? Reggi needs to keep his eyes open, to any possible breach of trust at home, and in any business dealings. Audits and trust of outside advisors needs to be of utmost concern, in his dealings with the Empire Bank, and estate and personal finances. The raven sealed letter, only reinforces his previous fears about the Thorne accounts.The storm may not be coming, it most likely has been brewing for awhile now. The stage is now set for what is about to unfold ahead. A confident steady hand, and with the help of his trusted steadfast friends, Reggi is feeling ready to assume his responsibility's to his father's and family's legacy! Your writings and style kept me interested in a situation that honestly in the beginning, had me feeling uncomfortable reading about. I guess it was not unlike not wanting to view a bad accident, but not being able to look away. Am I happy with my decision to continue reading your story? Yes I am. You moved my thoughts and opinions as the story continued, until I was actually rooting for this pair (Captain and good boy), to move on together. Something that really surprised me. Perhaps their future story together is best, to be left up in the air? I agree that a perfect ending, would be tough to accomplish, but I would have enjoyed seeing you try it.
