  1. To everyone who reads R Eric’s stories and doesn’t Comment: Don’t you ever read what I write and say to yourself, ‘What a stupid thing to say!’ or ‘I totally disagree with that!’ Well, this is your personal invitation to prove how dumb I am! I might tease my buddy, Wesley, about his fat thumbs when his phone makes some strange autocorrection mistake, but anyone who reads what I’ve posted will find all sorts of oddities I’ve typed up by mistake! Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Don’t be afraid to express your opinion. Don’t be afraid to contribute. R Eric is one of the best authors to interact with. He does actually use suggestions on occasion. He doesn’t always React to Comments, but he recently lost most of his eyesight and he’s still adjusting to the change. I know he likes reading what everyone thinks. ;–)
  2. You didn’t like the delicious irony of incarnation rather than their expected heaven/purgatory/hell afterlife? ;–)
  3. Yes, I finally got to see the final season last week. It takes a while for me to ‘acquire’ episodes of pay cable shows. I was a little disappointed. ;–)
  4. I think that says it all. I believe the Vatican is based on myth, rumor, and falsehood. I think more than half of the popes, ‘saints,’ cardinals, bishops, priests, nuns, and other catholic celebrities will be shocked when they reincarnate as slugs and dung beetles.

    Beware Gremlins

Kinda misogynistic though, isn’t it? ;–)

  7. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Couldn't happen to a more deserving writer 🌺 🌺 🌺 Long Rule Us Poets 🌺 🌺 🌺 ❤️❤️❤️
  8. If Eddie does have a son, will ‘Deuce’ call him Quinn (for quint)? or is there some other nickname associated with the position?

Wouldn’t it be great if Adam & Artie actually took your advice! ;–)
  10. Actually there are two kinds of PKs (Preacher’s Kids). You’ve mentioned the first type: the rebel. The second type is brainwashed into following their father’s lead. In extreme cases, that means that the children of well-known ministers become ministers themselves (Franklin Graham and Yolanda King are prime examples of where the child relies on their father’s reputation and falls far short of their stature). In the case of my family, things are very much moderated. My brothers are both very religious with my older brother even attending a conservative religious liberal arts college (my younger brother’s son just graduated from a different conservative religious liberal arts college). My parents thought I rebelled by merely being Openly Gay (my ’sin’ was not suppressing my orientation).

    A Bit Of Fun

This comment is much more insightful than most of the things I’ve said here! ;–)
  12. I agree with you! ;–)

    Divide

As far as I can tell, no one in my family treats either my cousin or niece any differently because of their lack of genetic connection. I know my parents specifically listed in their living trust, that all of their grandchildren would be treated exactly the same, natural or adopted – and this clause was written before my niece was adopted! My youngest cousin has isolated himself despite attempts to contact him by our Aunts (he remains in contact with only me and our second youngest cousin). ;–) I guess we’re lucky. ;–) Oh, and there are no Juniors among any of my family members except the youngest cousin who has a (partial) namesake son (they share the same first name). ;–)

You know, Ezra never mentioned attempting to send birthday and holiday gifts to Arthur. Absent parents who truly want to have a connection with their children usually try to at least send a card or letter for those events. Yet Ezra never claimed to have made those attempts with Arthur.

    Divide

I figured that Artie and Adam would have conflict over Ezra’s proposed visit. They both expressed their opinions and heard what the other was thinking. It’s better to have the discussion than attempt to bury the conflict and carry around resentment like my family would! ;–)
  16. @Parker OwensThanks for sharing the Verdi video. The finale is surprisingly complex, and reaches in several places for what I'd consider unusual harmonies. It's very engaging

    Chapter 4

I think it’s more like MacGyver who jury-rigged his contraptions out of the materials at hands, just like the boys here. Mission Impossible is filled with unlikely coincidences. ;–)
  18. Not triple dates? ;–)
  19. Thanks to @Cole Matthews for highlighting this powerful story from @Mikiesboy. For those who are just coming to Tim's work, this story is mot to be missed. In fact, in its pages lie great truths about all of Tim's exceptional work. In here is hope and despair, and magically -- painfully, through hard effort -- hope comes out on top. Bravo!
  20. Angie wants to see Jazz and Rob experimenting together in bed. The girlfriend can watch – or she can participate if Jazz is in the middle. Alternately, Jazz and Rob could lead a bonding exercise with the rest of the team in the steamy, soapy locker room showers! ;–) The Imp likes the idea of a non-hazing ritual, team bonding with hands touching places they don’t normally go in locker rooms. ;–)
  21. Ellen early on and ending with Oprah! ;–) I only have one suggestion. LGBTQs and preference. The answer is yes, most of us prefer to have sex! But we have a sexual orientation. ;–)
  22. If you insist on female Japanese singers, what about these guys? ;–)
  23. I really hate the traditional (screechy) style of female Japanese and Chinese singers. I don’t like it when Mariah Carey screeches in notes only canines can hear either. But I did like Minnie Riperton’s Lovin’ You.
  24. Sorry, Page. Not at all my kind of music! I hate the high pitched warbling style even though this one wasn’t as screechy as some others I’ve heard in the past. I really was expecting you to post a handsome, young male J-pop singer… ;–)
