  1. It takes bravery to share your personal thoughts with others. In your poem, I see a strong woman who does not give up. Just by getting up every day to face life head on, you are teaching your son to be resilient. 'I Started Thinking,' is a poem that many, including myself can relate to. Thanks for sharing Imoline. Psst...Gary is one hell of cheerleader!

Yeah, but it’s the wild boars tearing up my carpet rooting for grubs that really get to me! ;-)

That’s okay, they have belittling comments for me too. As a staunch gun control advocate REDACTED. We must all remember that REDACTED! It’s strange how there has never been any legislation passed in the US that I know of that would actually confiscate guns and ammo. There aren’t teams of Black Ops flying around at night in Black Helicopters searching for legal weapons. If those teams existed, I’m sure my city would be one of the first places they’d start searching in, not wealthy suburbs or walled in compounds.

An update on Michael and his dads wouldn’t require a current prompt… ;-)

I’m going to start lobbying for Joel & Lucas fostering or adopting a sibling for Mason! The place is going to feel really empty if and when Mason leaves to go to college! They have so much love to give (even if it might curtail their more adventurous sex somewhat – which is why having Mason around would be helpful, he can babysit when they have a night out). ;-) Just assisting a favorite author with some inspiration. Pictures of ‘Jazz’ seem to have distracted @Timothy M. too much! So I’m trying a different strategy… ;-)
  6. I knew there were more than one song to sing inside you. Great! XO A.
  7. Martin Landau as Rollin Hand in TV’s Mission: Impossible Martin Landau as Commander John Koenig in Space: 1999
  8. I remember going to a very early Science-Fiction gathering on the San Diego State (now known as California State University at San Diego) campus in the late ‘70s. This was pre-Star Wars and pre-consumer video tape, so everything was on film. One reel had multiple Space: 1999 opening sequences spliced together. Of course, the opening sequence featured the crash of an Eagle Transporter, but supposedly they only had 28 serviceable Eagles available. A wag in the audience announced that we had witness the destruction of more Eagles than they had available! ;-)
  9. Martin Landau was probably best known for his roles on the Mission Impossible and Space: 1999 TV series. In Mission Impossible, his character, Rollin Hand, was a master of disguises – something that many LGBTQs could probably identity with. Space: 1999 might have had high production values, but it was also kind of tacky.
  10. Teddy and Ryder are starting to make a real connection. They’ve discovered that they’re not quite as dissimilar as they thought. And I think Teddy probably could make a difference if he actually stood up against all the hate and bigotry against Ryder. People respect Teddy even if they really don’t know him.

Yay! Advocating for Mason made a difference! Lots of fun Joel time too! ;-)
  12. I’m not as pessimistic about his chances with Alex as others are. I think Alex is Robbie’s best bet. He knows what to avoid with Alex and nobody knows that they had their little fling. Don & Sue know about Fran and Rory. Those will be the first two places they’ll look. They might be safer in some respects, but not hidden from Don.
  13. Hugs for you, buddy - gentle ones. Hang in there plz

    Chapter 34

With the way Will is trying to help Stephen (without Stephen asking or even knowing about the help), I can’t see him remaining angry with Derek forever. He will be reluctant to trust him as much as he did before, but maybe their misunderstanding (and that’s really what it was) will eventually bring them closer. They both have the same basic goal after all, to help the kids!

    Home Again

I thought Chuck, Shelly, Mark, and Stan were flying commercial back to NYC… I guess they changed their minds when they checked the cost! ;-) And Wayne probably should have gone with them to NYC. More (and cheaper) flights out to the UK. Unless he’s aiming for more mileage points. ;-) Wentworth is set up to be more secure than VUN.uk or Holmes Labs. And they aren’t putting as many uninvolved people at risk if they are attacked.
  16. They can’t say Michael didn’t warn them! ;-)
  17. If I remember correctly, you don’t have any brothers. It’s not a coincidence that the word is only a single letter away from ‘bother’! Brothers always know which buttons to push and mine always chose the ideal times (for them) to push them! And my older brother had 4 years of more experience, so he was better able to judge when he could get away with things! Michael seems to only have Seth’s best interest in mind even though he teases him mercilessly… ;-)
  18. I think, everyone needs some comfy food now and then. My kids ask for lasagna. :-D XOXO
  19. Hi Molly, that sounds tasty. Thanks for sharing. A.
  20. I like Michael! I wish one of my brothers was like him! He seems like he’s lots of fun to be around! ;-)

A recurring theme: someone trying to adjust to the modern world and all of its technologies. So I was wrong in my Comments for the last chapter. I’m guessing The Others could end in a chapter or two. Amasis has told them about the Other’s origin. They still have the mysterious pursuers, but that’s probably the focus of the next book (’The Hunters’?). Mitch hates Cyrillic, so I’m guessing Eric isn’t a fan either! Maybe they’ll go to the Balkans (Transylvania is home to the most famous Vampire!) rather than Russia. Russia would be less likely to appreciate Americans and British citizens with ties to US and UK Intelligence Agencies wandering around than former Eastern Block republics (yes, I know some of them use Cyrillic too). ;-)
  22. I think, you didn´t let him go, you let yourself go. That is even better, because it is a act which empowers you and not something you just have to acept. Am I right? Love Sis. May your path which lays before you get bathed in sunshine.

    Chapter 33

I can understand where Derrick is coming from. He wasn’t very diplomatic about how he stated his case though. He probably isn’t aware of the extent of Will & Liam’s financial resources either. It’s possible Derrick was also having a bad day…

    Chapter 33

iTunes/US has The Radiators, but not their You Have the Right to Reman Silent EP. They do have a Live version of the song though and a remix edit EP, The Cut vs The Radiator – Gimme Head (The Second Coming). 99¢ each, $3.96 for the remixes (no discount), or $9.99 for the In the Roar (Live) album. Cash & Credit Card are something a retail worker might chose as names. One of my former coworkers liked to ask if customers wanted to pay with ‘paper or plastic’ – he thought it was funny. I can still remember when credit card forms used actual carbon paper to produce the two copies (the original for the credit card company and a copy each for the store and the customer).
  25. Carl Ditters has an almost totally unique distinction: as a major composer, the oboe was his instrument. I've read that at least a dozen oboe concerti are known to have been written and performed by him. The attached vid records the six surviving. The solo instrument shines in virtuosity and subtlety too. Ditters was great influence on how Mozart's concerti advanced to truly 'concert' levels. I hope you enjoy
