You need to close the credit card accounts that you've paid off and ask for confirmation in writing that the account is closed. Even if you don't have a balance on the card, the total credit limit on the card counts as debt because you could charge up to that amount. All you need is one major card with the lowest interest possible.

Jamie you need an option in your poll that says 'I did, but I quit...repeatedly.' I started smoking when I was 14 and I quit about three months ago. (<------ points left - do the math yourself) This is the eighth or nineth time I've quit over the years. I will admit to cheating a few times, but the three or four I might smoke in a week is much better than the pack a day I was smoking. I just take it one day at a time so I guess we'll see how long I make it this time. Sharon

That's not necessarily true. When my mother was pregnant with my older sister, she craved sour. To this day, my sister just peels and eats lemons as if they were oranges. During my first pregnancy, I didn't crave a particular food, but I did crave cold. I lived on salads, grapes and applesauce. Sharon

I don't know if I want to read the rewrites. I thought the two books were wonderful the way they were. It's been a while since I've been to his site but I have seen his paintings. At the time he signed the books for me we had a nice conversation about Maryland's Eastern Shore. I'm a frequent visitor to that area, have been all my life. We discovered we had been at the same annual event at the same time on several occasions. Small world... Sharon

How long ago did you read it? It was much smaller when I first started to read it too, less than 20 chapters, but it continues to grow even today. The author just recently returned to it after a long absence, and has added about seven or so more chapters. Sharon
