I left work earlier that day because it was my mother's birthday. My mother had already switched on the TV when I arrived at her house. It was afternoon here in Germany. I gazed at the screen in shock. The first tower was burning. More guests arrived and we gathered in front of the TV, my mother's birthday forgotten. The second tower was hit. We watched peopled jumping down, we saw people dying. We saw it all live on TV. We didn't talk, we just kept watching for hours. It was a nightmare, a night of horror. I was certain that World War III had begun. -

I wrote LOTR fan fiction many years ago, but usually made up my own characters. It was fun for a while, but I finally got bored and started writing original stories. I don't read and write fan fiction anymore and I would not really feel happy with people writing fan faction based on my work. I would not read these stories.

Sounds great. I have voted on the genre. I'll fill in the character bio when I know which kind of world we'll play in. I'd still like to play a bad guy, but not the main villain, and my character might develop and change over time.

I once got a reveiw that basically said 'Your writing is bad and this shows you're a spoilt brat.' I didn't see the connection. I don't see it now. Such reviews are as useful as a hole in the head. If you want to be a better person, please, try something else.

I would like to roleplay, but I'm not familiar with Space Pirates and I won't be around in September for ten days. So, well, I'm not sure I can participate. The adjective system doesn't appeal to me much, the point system neither, but I could live with the latter. I'd also prefer a historical setting. I could imagine I want to play a villain, not a bomb-throwing manic, but a character nice on the outside yet with bad intentions. His hidden malicious intent was caused by some traumatic experience in the past. Here lies his weakness. To make the play more interesting, the mods could give the players individual subgoals or subtasks that the others do not know of.

Good idea. I'm planning to write a Genesis-like project during this year's NaNoWriMo. As you know, the word count is 50,000 words. I'm hoping to not make the story sound dull, but I might get stuck at 25,000 or so, who knows. A few thousand begats might make me a winner. Lol. Copy and paste...
