Great chapter, and really liking the fact that Terry and Dan seem to be progressing. Hate that Maurice went like that; but Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. Funny how Brenda reacted; but part of that may have been wanting to make sure that Maurice did not get any more upset. Sometimes something that we think is trivial can send someone with Alzheimer's into a frenzy and it can take a while to get them back on an even keel. I do think the séance might be a good idea. Jack being the body in the lake would fit; and strange how when the past gets disturbed that all sorts of things can pop up so to speak.

Another treasure, this crew and officers has no idea who they have landed with; and I can't wait for Granger to fully introduce himself to them all. I have a feeling that no matter what Granger says, that Carson will be an issue. Love the idea that Daventry will be teaching the young gentlemen some of the classics. This is just what Granger needed a challenge, and I do feel that this will be one. Bravo...

Who is this creature that dares call Caleb that??? Loved the issue on the plane with Vincent and his wolf. Vampires.... Nothing more needs to be said. Can't wait to find out what the game involves. Need an immediate update...

No matter the world, the time, or the place; there are always the ones that want to know every gruesome detail, of course, they are never the ones that would put themselves in any danger to know first hand. We knew Kadin would be alive, but he was hurt; and this will delay their being able to get away. And we know that the falls are not always what they seem to be. Jevikel and Kadin know that they can never be true to themselves in the hold, so they must leave; even if it hurts the hold, they must be true to themselves. Just so well done...

A well written and exceptionally well paced story. A murder mystery that was never truly a mystery after the first couple of chapters; but still kept you wanting to know if the person was going to get away with it. I do feel that some of the secondary characters were not developed as well as the primary ones. That and the fact that I knew who the killer was so early keeps this from five star territory. But I do with that either this author or another one would write more mysteries, do love them so. A quick read at only six chapter; but have to admit that wished there was more.

Really enjoyed this story; although, I will say that I felt that I had most of it figured out by chapter three... LOL. The writing was good and the pacing was excellent. The descriptive nature of your writing was point on; and I felt developed over the story. Really enjoyed how the story developed and wish that Pierson had been caught and fully exposed for what he was. Mostly a coward, who did not truly have the fire of his own convictions; but also a murder and a bully. His followers have chosen to be blinded by their own hate; and yes, it is hate not religion that drives them. Not sure that I fully understood the corporal side to this story; but it did nothing to deter from the enjoyment of the overall aspects therein.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave; when at first we practice to deceive.... Just too good.

Well, you knew immediately that it was not really a suicide. I do think it is the lawyer, his son was involved in some way with the Dylan and this is how he is solving the problem. I knew someone like Robbie in high school. He would actually do things to get punished for; in school and at home. He got off on the pain of the spanking; one of the coaches at school I think finally figured it out and stopped them giving him licks, but his father never did...

Writing and pacing is excellent, but character development needs a little work. Have to wonder if the lawyer did not do it to get more publicity. Will the kid come out of the closet?

Have a feeling that there was probably a long line of people waiting to bump off our lovely so called Christian, who clearly really wasn't...

Interesting start to this story; part of what is coming is telegraphed by the description, but well written and will be interested to see how it progresses.

What a true delight. I have to admit the first sighting set me back; but the fact that Dan saw the second one means that the ghost/spirit isn't just trying to contact Terry, but trying to either send a message or reaching out for contact with whomever. The sexting was good, but better with pictures, Terry needs an updated phone. Cynthia is going to have a ball about being able to do the seance. Who will they get to participate? You usually need more energy than just two or three...

The section with Cyrus and Kaplan was just hot hot hot. The bond between those two are just amazing; much like Kaplan, I never though of Cyrus doing that, but WOW. Loved the interview with Marlo; so very intense. Can't wait for Vincent to shadow the auditor, but I do worry about returning to the scene of his parents death. Lily was a real delight. Well, this trip is going to be filled with just so many interesting things, can't wait.

How truly delicious, the perfect way to start a lazy Sunday. I do love how Will handled the deal with K-Kris, it was excellent; although I am not sure the sex was as good for Will as what came later. I know some guys have a natural smell that is great and others not so much, but there are ways to alleviate that. Smell is a big deal for me during sex, I actually prefer guys to not use deodorant, unless it is all natural. Dottie is a good hostess; and if Will was around a little more, he would probably have gotten a better table. K-Kris probably did not rate a table better than they ended up with, and since he made the reservation, they got where they got. Patrick needs to come fully to terms with what is going on in his life. Continuing with therapy would probably be a big help for him, hope he stays with it. I know it appears that Will feels a real connection with Patrick, but they just don't seem like they really mesh. Always seem to be bickering about something, and one or the other doesn't understand what the other is really trying to say. Love how Johnny played the deal with his grandmother's house. He is smarter than anyone gave him credit for... Amazing chapter as always, can't wait to see what happens next.

The feeling of real terror and dread just dripped from every word in this chapter; so well written. They are lucky they got back, lucky they did not lose any more than they did, and lucky that no one was seriously hurt. Have to pray that the damage to the herd and those out up the mountain was no worse, of course we know that Kadin at least survives; but is he hurt or anything else, besides being terrified??? Vikkel knows too late, that the teaching ballads should have been listened to, even after so long, Thread always falls...

What a truly glorious treat this was... Granger is in a true dither about what has been his life the last few months; and to some extent with Chartley and their coming together and pulling apart over the last couple of years. Granger usually knows his heart and mind so well; and acts to ensure they are in concert and working toward whatever goal he is racing toward; however, his feelings and heart are clearly out of alignment with his head. He will have to work to ensure they come into harmony with each other. Giving him a command was brilliant. This will allow him to work out some of his tensions and moods in righting a ship that is having issues; even if we are not sure what those issues truly involve. Can't wait for him to get to the new ship. Daventry gave Nelson just enough information to help him make this push to help Granger. I do feel that both Daventry and Granger will help the new ambassador to the Court of St. Petersburg be ready to face the true morass that he is going into. Bravo, Mark, truly Bravo... The writing was crisp as always and the pacing and story developments were spot on...

Parker is going to find his life a living hell; not just from those that will blame him for recording the video and then posting it. He is going to get it from the other side as well. Why didn't he do something else, why didn't he try and stop it, etc... No one likes to be forced to look in the mirror. And we as a country absolutely abhor it. I am so glad that Parker's dad stood up and told him that he did the right thing. I am glad that he made the police give the phone back; although I am sure that the right judge will issue a warrant to have it seized again. Anyone that actually believes that racism, sexism, homophobia, or any of the other ism's isn't worse now than it was 20 years ago; has truly been living under a rock somewhere in Outer Mongolia...

Chill went up my spine at the ending. A new variation on the dream, but with Dan in it now; two deaths instead of one. Still a man and a woman; have to wonder if Jack fell in love with someone involved with a woman, blackmailed into doing something, then he was killed... Wasn't he the one that supposedly threw his keys at a manager and left in a huff? Need to reread to make sure. So many clues, and yet, I feel no closer to knowing what happened in the past. I do feel that the smell and ghostly figure appearing to Terry means that he is getting more on a connection to the site. Maybe becoming more attuned to the flow the longer he spends there. Can't wait for the update next week, keep up the great work.

This chapter just reeked of melancholy and regret. Tani has been hurt too many times and Dante is not fully sure of what will come of all of this. I do hope that Tani gives them a chance. We still need to find out who is behind the kara ot and a few other things. Cale needs to find some information as well; plus, who is trying to interfere with the Ekho realm and the Septum? Starting to wonder if the fact that Dante dies young has anything to do with this insidious incursion or is it tied to his rejection of Tani? So well done; but so many answers left unknown...

Wonderful chapter; loved how Will stepped in and helped to get Patrick organized. Was able to do so without being confrontational; except for the deal with Tara; who was being a bitch. The resolution between Patrick and Johnny went better than I thought. I think on some level they both just wanted it over with; and this gave them that opportunity. I am not surprised that Patrick wanted some time to himself; even if he had already made the decisions on what his declaration was, that was probably the first time outside of therapy maybe that it was spoken aloud. Will buying the exact model of Rolex that the guy was wearing a fake of is priceless.

Wonderful chapter; I like neither the Grandmaster, who we finally met, nor the father, who we should get to meet up with soon. They are both idiots. I do not think that Tani will be the one giving the tour; hope that I am wrong, but not sure that I will be. Chapter flowed wonderfully, writing and pacing were both first rate.

What a delight this chapter was. I do still feel for Dirk, not the least because his bear has gone silent; but Tierney will help him on more than one level. He is right, Dirk will need to control his power, probably sooner than later. Glad that Cyrus was able to talk some sense into Mason, I think Mason knew already, but needed to hear it from someone he respected. Never thought about it; but it would be hard for an Alpha to follow the orders of someone else, especially if it was something they did not think was right... Great chapter, can't wait for the next update.

And so it begins... I do hate that Jevikel is so far away from Kadin, plus hope that the other boy and the animals are safe as well. Honestly, a little surprised that Vikkel just accepted the word that thread had returned, sort of figured that he would put up more of an argument about it. Wonderful chapter; so full of urgency. Can't wait to see what you do with the next one.

Parker is going to find his whole world turned upside down. He will find that few of his so called friends will support his action of taking and posting the video; on top of that, the police and authorities in both his town and school will not appreciate his actions either. We live in a society were it is always someone else's fault or some person or group has brought the consequences upon themselves. The societal problems in the United States have reached the point that I truly am not sure that there are any answers, even difficult ones; because so many have reached the point that they simply refuse to see any points being made by the other side or have any desire to compromise. Chapter was really well written and the pacing was impeccable. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I read this when you first posted; but the second chapter made me decide to follow the story. I am in my mid 50's and grew up in a small town in Texas during the 70's and early 80's; that said, I truly believe that race relations in this country is perhaps worse now than at any time since the 1920's and 30's. I applaud your attempt at dealing with this fractious issue. Your writing is good and this was an interesting start to the story. Will be very interested to see where you take it from here.
