I just love Dirk and Ingle; their interaction is just so well done... Loved the look back at Vincent's past; even if the visit to the cemetery was very melancholy. Love how his wolf got involved; and do hope that Vincent finds time to share more of his past with his wolf. Can't wait for Vincent and Mason to get to share Mason's family and the upcoming holidays. Harold should have gotten a very old scotch; it is going to be a bad day for him. Please take care of yourself, we can always be keep waiting; maybe not quietly but still. Taking care of yourself and your well being in whatever manner you need must be a first priority.

There is a line and everyone has to figure out where it is and how to navigate it; and I mean about paying for lunch. If you are in a mixed crowd and simply pay for lunch there may be those that feel you are patronizing without that being your intent. It can lead to hurt feelings and additional issues; luckily it doesn't always have to. Humor works to relieve a lot of issues if played right. I do feel that the vast majority of police forces are institutionally racist, homophobic, misogynistic, etc... Police forces are designed to protect the status quo, not do what is right or protect individuals. Glad to see Natalie there and will additional friends from Somerset. Especially glad to see Mr. Abrams and see that he was fully prepared to take action. Parker's next day at school is going to be very interesting.

Loved this chapter; although I personally do not think that Colt suffered nearly long enough. Siku and Shivay are destined for a life of adventure and love. Charlie is destined for a life of fresh salmon and tuna. Nameer may find his true life. Lakshmi is destined for the catwalks of Paris, Rome, London, and New York... Nimerah must begin to fix her karma and life or the next turn of the wheel will be very unkind to her. Bravo...

Love the little slice of domestic life; and I could really see it. Kage is right; and in some ways Elijah has never had to really take care of himself fully; and it shows in the weirdest ways. When is Elijah going to think about the new old car... LOL. OMFG, the last section wasn't just hot; I have to go take a shower...

OMG, what a cliff hanger... Which group of bears is at the door? I would not have thought Colt's group would have knocked or rang the bell, but they could have... Sounds like the expected bride to be needs to get away from her family as much as Shivay needs to get away from his... I hope that Nameer survives opening the door and leaves when Shivay does; he deserves to start his life over and for it to end up better than the one he has now... Can't wait to see what happens next.

Delicious chapter; so glad that Greg was willing to just accept what Ronnie said and let them move on. Ronnie loves his dad so much; and not being able to be there and check on him and making sure he is getting the help he needs is so hard for him. Taran getting a first hand look at Ronnie past; and in some ways what was important to him. A young boys room; and Ronnie still seems to represent his beginning teenage years, really can tell you alot about a him. More true for boys I think that girls. Maya took a huge risk; but the reward may have been worth it. If they can formulate a plan and overload the power base of the Shadowghast then the other Hero's being held might be able to break free and fight back as well. Great update; holding my breath till the next one so.....

Oh my... Kage or someone like him, should be the first for every person experiencing sex. Someone that knows what they are doing, but cares about you and wants your first time to be great. Kage does care about Elijah, but he is older and wiser and knows the odds that they will hurt each other is especially high. That does not mean that it couldn't work out in the end; just that it will be a battle to get there. Elijah and Tyler will always be brothers from a different mother; and we all need someone like that in our lives.

So glad that Charlie was on the boat and made Siku understand that killing the San Francisco bears was just not the right move. Perhaps they just have not been trained and raised properly; with Colt as the boss, I am almost sure they have not. Family Thanksgiving meals are always drama filled; even when just dealing with a regular family. Can't wait to see how one with were-tigers and were-bears and are all pissed to the max turns out; should be a barn burner to tell future generations about. Mike will recover; but if Siku and Gunnar ever get there hands on Colt and are alone with him; his ass and life may both be blown apart. Maybe a double penetration as punishment?

Talk about playing a long game; so we have now meet the one causing all the trouble. He is part of the reason that Dante has chosen the woman each time and crushed Tani. So many plots; but all coming to naught? Both the Fox Goddess and the Lord Sunu remembering things and sending out people to search why? Za; may find himself besieged on many fronts all at once. Dante and Tani happy and then the family interrupted. Why is Dante's father and grandmaster so surprised? More More More...

I think a full explanation of what happened down south would have been better than all the speculation, gossip, and rumor. But in this case there was other issues to confront and deal with; plus, did anyone want to really admit a bronze rider could do something that treacherous? I hope that Jevikel and Kadin both impress together; but what they impress will be up to the dragons, and a certain writer. I can't wait for the next story. Jevikel, probably because he grew up in a hold, knows better than to believe everything that is said; yes, listen by all means, but learn to know what to believe and who to believe. Great story, can't wait to see the next update.

Excellent chapter; and Elijah and Tyler handled themselves with the authorities just perfectly. Sort of surprised that there were not more questions; or more intensive questioning in light of recent events but... Tyler's reaction to Kage was priceless. The first few interactions I really felt they both needed to just pull them out and piss on him to claim him; even if for different reasons. LOL. Elijah cares about Kage on some level that he doesn't even understand yet; and of course, the feelings are fully returned; but Kage isn't willing to admit what level they are with him, not even to himself. Can't wait for the next update... So damn good.

Honestly surprised that the bears thought it would be that easy to get Colt; he has spent decades as basically the only order in San Francisco. Did they not they so many new bears just showing up would not spark a recognition and a counter plan by him? Mike was very brave; and glad that his Papa and the rest came to the rescue before he was raped by Colt; but doubt that Colt will let this go. I am not sure that anything less than his death will remove Colt from the City. Nameer has told Shivay the truth; it is never too late to make the right choice. Nameer let his fear cost him his true Mate; but he must make Shivay understand that it must not cost him his.

Dirk and Ingle may have issues working together; the protective instinct involved with working with a mate might be too strong; but hope not. What is a meth house explosion that might be something more, never got the batteries... Vincent is going to be a good auditor, but he needs to keep humble and conserve his energy some. Love how the meeting between Vonder and Tilliman went, just so perfect. Kaplan did his job as well as you would have expected him too. We need more information on Kaplan's old pack, exactly what happened and how much does Kaplan know now? Just too good.

So very excited; got back from traveling the last two days only to find this wonderful update posted; how I do love the Bridgemont series. I am not surprised at all that George would take Matheus in and will do what he can to see to his needs. Much like Michel from very early in the series; George is there to help a youngster from somewhat in his class that is left on his own. I hope this ends better than that did. Love how Granger handled the bookseller. Love how Granger handled himself with Anson. So proud of Caroline; she did what she had to; even though it truly upset her. She understands what she has to do to advance her family; that said, it would not surprise me if Granger did not have some lovely estates in the north to send these tenants to soon. What a wonderful treat this chapter was; can't wait for the next update. Bravo, Mark, Bravo...

The memorial service and light lunch was nice; neither is as much for the family as for those that were more friends or acquaintances. Elijah needed both Tyler and Kage both; for completely different reasons. Loved the family supper; the writing and flow in this area was especially well done. You could truly feel the love and sense of family. The discussion between Elijah and Tyler in the backyard was probably the first sign of Elijah truly letting go of his parents; and to some extent his past life. It was so moving and showed just how intertwined Elijah and Tyler are in each other's past, present, and future. OMG, could you have ended it any more dramatically; both boys thrown to the ground, Kage on top protecting them. Kage being in the shadow allowed him to see what was coming and stop it; but Elijah is going to have to explain a lot to both Tyler and the police. Even if they don't want to call the police; in a small town like that, someone already has...

What an illuminating chapter. Claire and Jack are not treating John in the way they are to be just asshole parents; but because in the end they, much like JP, see education as so important moving forward in life. Yes, there are careers, such as music, that don't require the full blown educational experience, but even with them they can help. I am glad that Will was able to reach Claire in a way that neither John, nor JP, was able to; he got to get her to see not just how their actions were pushing John away; but the risk of him going down a road with people they did not know or trust. They know, at least for the most part, the group of people John wants to form the band with; and they could easily because of connections help making sure they get legitimate and reliable management and representation. Will does not get compared to JP often, and honestly I don't understand why not. He in some ways may be closer to Stef; but he truly has JP's core of moral strength. I am glad that even though JP was initially annoyed, more because of other issues; he took the time to read what Will gave him and then went to find him. JP did a good job of explaining to Will how he needed to move forward in this cause; and what not to do as well. JP will help him with his proposal and then they can talk to the rest. I doubt the board is made up of just family; but that can happen. @scrubber6620makes some good points above. With many foundations, small grants are not even seen by anyone on the board unless it is something they are advocating for; and by small, I mean less than 10,000,000.00 or so. Often, it is easier for foundations to give out larger block grants to smaller foundations or organizations that are then broken down into smaller amounts. I am really not surprised by Brad's actions. I think he has known for a while that he was trying to control Will through the disbursement of funds and just had to make that conscience realization. This latest episode, along with Jake discussing it, and seeing how Will was willing to stand up for John; has just helped him to see more clearly how independent and strong Will has really become. He has to realize that Will is emerging as the clear leader of his generation even though some of the others may be older or smarter; his abilities taken in total just makes him the clear front runner at this point in time.

I truly loved the first book in this series; and I guess maybe some time far in the future, I might attempt the other book on the crvboy.org site, but honestly unsure about that. If I could give this zero stars I would. I honestly felt like another author wrote the first book compared to this one. The writing and the flow were nothing like the first book. The characters acted in totally bizarre ways compared to their actions in the first book. I did not do a recommendation above; and I felt there was not one area that I could recommend with this book. I believe either chapter eight or nine was the last chapter comment I made for this book; that was because it just got worse with each chapter. I really felt bad even giving the chapters a credit with either a comment or a like, etc. Just so truly disappointed.

Great chapter. We have plenty of fishermen to catch the fish and keep the Captain happy. We have found Colt, and are setting in motion his downfall. And Gunnar has found Shivay's father, who maybe will finally stand up to his wife and help make sure his son is happy. Can't wait to see what happens next.

What a grand chapter; this one flowed so wonderfully. I just love the chapters like this were you have time to explore the minutia of what is going on around the weyr. Hated that L'cal proved to be such an ass. Of course, we all know part of the reason for this, still makes such a bad impression with the youngsters. I hope that Jevikel does give D'gar a chance; I know his first impression dealing with him was not good, but I think he understands why better now. Jevikel still has some reluctance giving up the last of his reservations from being hold bred; but with Kadin moving forward and Kemi there to help it should not be long for him either. Bravo, can't wait for the last few chapters of this story before on to the next... LOL

As I said earlier, Elias should have been honest. I don't think the fact he did not gave anyone the right to take him. The Grand Duke will come back into play at some point. Darien chose to remind some of the old guard in the past, that can be a good think or a bad one; we will just have to see which.

Why do I feel all hell is about to break loose? Darien is playing a dangerous game.
