My mind is in a total whirl, and I can't land on a particular person yet. Todd seems too obvious, but he is someone that Jake would wait to tell him about if asked.

Truly hope that the deal with Kane doesn't blow up in anyone's face. Asher and Killian were just not meant to be. Wish Killian would pay more attention to the book; I really think it means something.

Told you this deal with Gilly was going to get complicated and it is going to get someone hurt. Glad that Killian's mother is getting away, we can hope she makes it to her sisters. The sperm donor is not going to be happy about any of this. Even if he can get out from under all of this, people will still talk.

Gilly is great, but this is going to be a huge disaster at some point. Sort of understand Asher's reaction, but he sort of deserves it as well. Kane is in a mess, but they have to do this legally. The dream and the book clearly mean something, and I am betting something important. Was Gilly's uncle killed in this area? Could the murders be linked in some way?

That was actually my first thought.

Beautiful Things is one of my favorite movies of all times. Love it. Killian and Asher need to slow down some, they just decided to see if this works, and they need to be careful how they act with each other, or everyone will figure it out.

Kane showing up was a revelation and a cause for celebration. He is going to catch hell from his mother, but it was totally worth it. In most states 15 is the age that you can decide which parent to live with, unless there is something preventing you from doing so, maybe they should look into that. Asher and Killian had another talk that seemed to go in circles, and nothing ever really got decided.

Asher was really hurt by what Killian asked, and honestly, he should have been. Nothing that happened would have led me to thinking he was involved, but we can't see into Killian's head. Hope that Kane is able to call his father, I wondered for a second if he even knew about Seth, but I am assuming that the burial was near his mother's place. Killian's mother has made her decision, let's hope that she carries through and is able to do so.

The hospital will have to report it, but in a small town like this with the sperm donor being who he is, nothing will happen.

Killian's sperm donor is going to be hot under the collar. I truly have not seen anything that would honor him with the name of dad or father. Have to admit, Killian asking questions will not be well received by many in his high school, too small town and to insular, protect the status quo.

Honestly, if there any creature with more capacity for stupidity and viciousness than the average American teenager, I would like proof that it exists.

Some really interesting characters, and well developed for only the first chapter, can actually visualize a couple of them fairly easily, and already know which ones we should all avoid.

Very powerful start, makes you want to know what happened, why, and how will it get better, or will it?

Let's hope that things come together for Ed. George is a good friend but needs to be careful that he doesn't lead this new friend on. Marie Louise will never learn.

Finely allowed his instincts to override his plans, it was instinctual, and not something he could help. He needs to be very careful how he handles telling Emmett that he is part of his hoard. Emmett understands that Finley is young, for a dragon, and his instincts can be stronger than he realizes. But to some extent, this has been Emmett's safe place, no one is going to react well to the thought of losing it. Lovely chapter.

Ack, another story to add to my ever growing list.

Vince is right, Graham seems to be gaining confidence, not only in his public speaking, but just his life in general as well. Matt is supportive and there, but not too there yet. Vince is starting to understand Graham better, and they are getting closer. I know it will not be a total surprise statement, but I am wondering if this is not what their father wanted when he set the will up about the Grange. Peter is helping Graham but also getting some exposure for the Centre and their mission. Graham has a website designer, and a fan as well.

Marc is smarter than most of the others, he realizes that Remy needs to be protected to some extent. Remy can deal with so much, but Anduin just throws him completely for a loop. Are we sure a fatal accident could not be arranged for Anduin and his mistress? Marc cares for Remy more than even he realizes. Wonderful chapter.

Will and Travis went to Brad and Jake, who then went to JP and Stef. Each pairing built on the information they had to get a better understanding of what they are facing. Talk about convoluted. Not even sure if ABC was this complicated. So, Fellows may or may not be gunning for the Serian mob, as in a takeover and going to war with them? The law firm could never go public; their involvement in all of this would have them under the scrutiny of both the Bar Association, the courts, and a whole lot more. But I do agree, our group needs the documents before the Serbian mob or anyone else gets them. Could the law firm be working with Fellowes to try and take over the Serbian mob? My mind is whirling. I know that most will not agree with me, but Jeremy is my favorite character of his generation. To have gone through everything he has survived and be functional as well as fabulous is a major miracle. That said, Kris is so good for him. I will need picture of what he does with the house in Manhattan Beach. I can so see him pulling this off spectacularly. I know his aesthetic is more refined than what Travis will want; but he understands Travis and will make the house a real sanctuary for him. @Mark Arbour, this story has just been brilliant from the start and can't wait to see how you bring it home.

Rory's father is a total prat. Glad that Rory has Audra and Jock to help balance it out. Rory's friends stood by him, something we are all glad to see. Matthew was there for him as well. Gavin needs to realize that Matthew already at least suspects that something is on between him and Jason. Jason's article may lead to more than anyone realizes right now. Can't wait to see what develops next.

Marie Louise is still an idiot. Ed is probably guilty but maybe has extenuating circumstances that might help him. George Jr. might have a new friend.
