Harris must be a long ways away from being in the field. Who in the security business leaves a combination on a safe at the last number to open it? The blue mug that was from his daughter keeps being mentioned and I suspect we may eventually find out why...

I suspect the lurching carriages on the uneven track, the house of ancient appearance and the tumbled heathland show a less than grand manor house awaiting the prince, his brother and the newly elevated rinker?

Anton is scarred and still a bit resentful over his own mercenary use of his sex and still well below Rupe's station. I wonder how long it will take Rupe to come to that conclusion. Gilles is accommodating and I wonder how long before he wants to be accommodated by Kreech?

Whether Corbin realizes it or not, he has made a decision to stick with Paul and not run at the first hint of discovery. His approach to the don and his family was respectful and calculated to earn respect which could be fortuitous down the road. I'm trying to not remember too much of the details so the story can pull me in to the web...which it is succeeding at very well. More please!

The graveled and graded road was a very nice touch, one they could both appreciate, not to mention Chad and his wife too! Corbin is definitely in more than just lust....and Paul is smitten as well.

The chapter was brilliant until the cliff-hanger at the end. I fear the worst...That's the reason for chapter reaction I left. @Avidreader made the point about CJ that I share as we adopted both of our kids.
