I found it to be a sad story with a ray of hope. The physical and mental injuries Elliot endures are horrific, made more so because he was the one that didn't underestimate the depravity of the abuser. That Elliot was willing to forgive and work things out with Grant and that the abuser chose that moment to inflict his abuse on Elliot was realistic but dark. The ray of hope is that they both continue to seek counseling and are moving forward with the wedding. Of course I would never invite Sarah to anything and certainly not their wedding...

Yeah, I laughed and smirked and thought it was funny. Interestingly, I also thought that the piece confirmed a stereotype that gay guys are drama queens!

It's nice to see Owen and CJ kick back and enjoy themselves. They are secure in their relationship and rather than being upset when hit upon, enjoyed the attention. I suspect CJ will always be a bit of a flirt as he has a playful side.

A Sunday In The Life Of An Influencer
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in A Sunday In The Life Of An Influencer
Heathcliff was surprised that the bottom took control and Aiden did it naturally.... Somehow that may say more than anything else so far. -
Ranegar is like an onion with layers and layers and their power is sort of the same way. I've a feeling that Ranegar has a better idea of whom he is dealing with and is leading Kieran to an understanding by incrementally showing him more and more. Ranegar's healing will hopefully make that process easier and faster. Now I'm wondering just how many more chapters are left in the book?

Living in Missouri which just passed a very restrictive antiabortion law, I wonder what men would do if a law was passed limiting penile length? While I personally think abortion is a choice of last resort, I can 't fathom the law telling a woman she has no say over her body even in cases of rape and incest. Abortion politics have dominated since 1972 and continue when other more important issues are ignored.

These guys really misunderstand everything...including themselves. Maybe when they quit playing games...

So the "old man" is a realm lord and a minor one at that which is apparently by design and preference....He seems to have figured out much, but does he suspect Kieran is really the high king's son? And will his probing of Mr. B expose his role? And Widderkin means gay!

Despite the comments about keeping it wrapped, teens are teens and even smart ones can get carried away...or not. Also condoms can fail and break. So I don't think anyone should be too judgmental or jump to conclusions. Of course CJ's initial reaction will be interesting and Owen's will be predictably practical. With much of the chapter setting up the introduction and explanation for Lincoln Duvall Ericson, I suspect him to be a recurring character as Carlos doesn't waste space on a one-off character. So we've been warned, only five more chapters in the book... Any news on the title for the next book? As usual, nice job and I'd like more please!

A Pretty Hard Situation
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in A Pretty Hard Situation
Now that was hot, sweet, and the beginning of some real communication. I think they need to practice communicating a lot more! -
"Welcome, young traveller! All is well and the Realm greets you with gratitude and wonder." So they have traveled to a Realm that greets Kieran with gratitude and wonder. Which I'm guessing it is a realm which has been hidden from the Elven kingdom awaiting discovery by the young traveler Kieran and his cohort. Now I really can't wait for next week's chapter....

I somehow suspect that some of the mouthieness is for show and Carlos certainly knows how to write a good show... More please!

Yes indeed, no one can claim that CJ doesn't plan and execute and not just for himself but for his friends too. So introducing Senator Duckworth made sense and Brad is starting to get the idea that he does have a special support network. The Senator's insistence that Brad should not limit himself and jumping on his idea that now he couldn't be cop with an example of someone who did despite everything was a nice bonus as well. Well done. As you'll note, the old grandpa has been busy and just got to this chapter. Unfortunately, the coming week looks to be just as busy!

Just got time to read this, and wanted to add a word of praise. This world does sound a bit like Eden and I still think the old man will play a significant role or turning point in the story....

The good news is that the odds of Aiden getting laid just became a certainty. The bad news is that he thinks it will be a hook-up...

Congrats on an information packed chapter that was the fastest read ever! I could listen to the guys discussing the details for the house forever. With a big budget, they should be able to get just about anything they want and get it done right with salvaged and reclaimed wood where it can be used. A green house which is high tech and user friendly is just what you'd expect from these millennials ! Just one more thought...Liz had her eggs frozen and these guys may down the road decide their child needs a sibling too..... More please!

The whole story to date has been a dance of another kind and perhaps the next chapter will be an example of dirty dancing??
-
Well done! All of it! You realize of course that CJ is basically a manipulative personality with a good heart? I'm loving it. More please!
-
So sad that Aiden is so clueless when it come to Heath....
-
The old man...I wonder who he really is and I have a few ideas. More please!
-
Brad's perspective on that war is authentic...and so are his ongoing problems. Hopefully, his support network will be sufficient. Diaz was dealt with, but somehow I think he got off to easy and I suspect CJ thinks that way too. However, Owen did the responsible thing and CJ understands that too. More please!
-
The beast in Jed and Wolfie seem to have reached an accommodation and level of trust. Larry is something else and I suspect even he isn't sure what. Maurice is another freak in a story that seems to be filled with them.... The good news is that the sex is first-rate! More please!

When Will You Be Home?
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in When Will You Be Home?
Somehow I expect Heath to take an active interest and a direct intervention to see Sparks job takes a turn for the better... Oh yeah he is really into the youngster with the unbelievably sweet ass. -
