Meeting The Future In-Laws
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Meeting The Future In-Laws
I was pleasantly surprised to find Jonathan's parents were not just stereotypes. The overheard conversation was revealing and crafted flawlessly. Rusty is the perfect comic relief too!- 45 comments

Will finagled his way out of a potential hot mess with charm and flair. Duh is about right when talking about Will being a perv! And we enjoy being along for the ride! The recorder is a useful toy which may or may not get some use at the party....or the after party!

My condolences to everyone on site who is a citizen of a country that recognized her as head of state and to all the Commonwealth countries who maintained ties. Her example of service and rectitude were unmatched and an example for everyone.

The argument for rescuing the most recently kidnapped vs. those who were kidnapped first was wrenching with fairness vs practicality implications. Human trafficking is one of the worst moral failings in our species.

Taylor is a beauty. Will is a slut, albeit a selective one. Zach is jealous. And, the booze and the drugs extracted a price.

Tyler is fitting right in and he and Logan left me a bit hot and bothered...which at 75 is a good thing!

With your imagination and inventiveness, I'm surprised. Will is a very wealthy guy and his family has been the target of violence in the past. Security is not foolproof.... Of course, now he knows he is being tracked...!

I admit, I have Amazon Prime and it came on and I watched a short bit and got bored and went to something else. -
Good Guys Do Date Bad Boys, After All
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Good Guys Do Date Bad Boys, After All
Drew is certainly one entitled prick. Why do I get the notion he and his family really need Jonathan's money? Maddox is Maddox and he brought Rusty! This should be fun!- 72 comments

Will is really learning to stroke egos to make points. I think he gets that from Stef. More please!

Kye seems very laid back in a go along, get along way. All these surprises and not an ounce of anger at not being consulted in a teenager is remarkable. Of course the fact that he has enjoyed traveling in the past and his uncle was away some, perhaps gave him some preparation. Interesting start.

Of course Elijah and Tyler will be a rescue team, and in the process find a bit more about themselves. Life is a journey and hopefully some discoveries that help us through it. Thanks for sharing this story as well as your love and devotion to your family.

Despite knowing how much you enjoy writing these short novelettes to fill in some of the interludes in your story and provide background, I still find them somewhat unsatisfying. While I was pleased to see Northmann was sent to Angola, I now wonder if CJ gets the backstory and whether we get to hear it... Large corporations sometimes self-insure because the have the clout to dicker with providers. Most wealthy individuals oftern purchase insurance because the insurance companies can get a better deal. I was hoping for some details about the wedding. I am also interested in what happens in Cuba...

I'm relieved they made it to Sebastian' s safely and that Tyler overcame his fears. The laptop is slow to give up its secrets. The sound of bones breaking which if you've ever experienced it yourself was the worst part of the chapter.

2004 and its news that their dumb cell phones can be tracked. 2022 and all our phones have family locator apps and Google and Amazon track everything.

In Love With A Time Traveler
Daddydavek commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in In Love With A Time Traveler
Finished the chapter and haven't read any comments: I loved the scene with Maddox, the end not so much. Having Drew show up at his parents house was just plain cruel. On top of a cruel situation. I'd hide in my room too.- 51 comments

If we are going to start a naming contest, I'm going with Bill and Barack! (Just to keep it presidential!)

TWINS! And they think their daughter is a handful at times! Big sister is going to be a big influencer! It was good to see Brad running and making connections at school. Adele's husband has caught their interest too! The doc and Linc? Much to munch on that a few thousand extra words would have filled some blanks...Can you start posting twice a week?

I think that Elijah made a mistake in failing to tell the Boss that Trevor threatened Tyler's family...which is Elijah's family.... The Montana crew is the other branch of his family and he is headed in the right direction.

Pitcairn's suicide was fortuitous, for everyone. His presence on the ship would have been a continuing distraction. Anson surely reminds me of a young Granger, except Granger had no doubts about a career in the Navy. Musical instruments aside, Anson is assured of meeting Cavendish.

The caching issue is a real irritation to the users. To Myr it must be driving him bananas until he gets to the the bottom of it and can patch the problem...I wish him every encouragement.

I still think Zach and Will are hopeless as a couple...at least for a dozen years and I can't picture either of them making it that long. And as this chapter makes clear, they really are into each other and its more than just sex... Cody, Cam and Jeff are just going to have to deal with their own mess. Cody should have prepped Will better and Darius confirmed to Will that to be true... So it was Darius who Will wanted to share his dilemna! More please!

Yeah, but not everybody goes out and gets completely shit-faced afterwards. Many people like Tyler have a nice little family get together!

Graduations are a ritual tradition and despite Tyler's assertion, he will remember it for the rest of his life. I' m still apprehensive about the meeting with the boss...

I only hope their love is strong enough to see them through, because I strongly suspect our dear author fully intends to put them through a lot more grief and embarrassment.
