I LOVE the last line. Clever play. I'm so glad Isaac's story has a happy ending. Well done keeping the human issues and emotions so ducklike.

Poor little ducking. IT suck to be the youngest. At over 50 I'm still referred to as "the kid". A lovely little story/chapter and great take on the prompt

Uh oh I feel there may be trouble ahead. What an interesting story - the life of a demon. No one thinks of the demons, do they? All that toil and strife. Imagine how boring it must be torture torture torture all day, every day. A lovely twist on the usual demon story. I loved it, and I loved how he finally came to realize he had feeling for Thomas. I would like to add my vote to the "write more" lobby. Thomas deserves some happiness I think.

Oh, what a wonderful story. I loved the fact that you took time to unfurl it slowly and it took two years before Ren felt ready to commit again. An intriguing story. You're right, it has potential to expand into something bigger. I love the fact that he was mourning being alone and then walked into a ready-made family. I have to wonder, too from the reaction of the cat, whether it might be a shifter. Lots of ideas swimming around.

I have to admit my favourite part was listening to the robot talking to himself. It was facinating. Well done for conveying so much information - about the robots and the situation of the vampire - in such a short space without it feeling preachy. I loved it.

I can’t begin to say how wonderful it was to spend what was left of the afternoon, and the evening, with Daniel. We take coffee and toast back to bed and brave crumbs while we watch one of Daniel’s favourite television shows. Apart from documentaries and historical programs of any kind – yes, he is a Downton Abbey fan – Daniel’s favourite station is Disney Channel and he loves watching cartoons and shows aimed at teenage girls. Bloody storming start, fair play

Did I mention how much I hate hospitals. We were there for hours, most of them spent waiting for one thing or another. After x-rays and scans Daniel was given a sling and sent away with painkillers and a warning to come back if there were any problems. It's been a long time since I've blogged here. In the meantime, a lot has happened. I have been somewhat successful in getting published, with 11 books and 7 anthologies I've managed to get myself 'out there' although I'm not selling many books yet. The publishing journey has been a very interesting one and I've learned a lot, good and bad. One thing I would absolutely advise anyone seeking a publisher is to make sure your contract includes a clause that your rights revert back to you immediately if the publisher ceases to trade. Also make sure it has a clause that you have ultimate control over the editing and cover. I learned the last one the hard way. The main thing that's become extremely clear is that to be successful in the world of the published author is that you have to have a huge presence on social media. As a complete technophobe and introvert (yes I am, in real life) it was really hard for me, but I now have two blogs, a website, and profiles on lots of social media. There are still bumps in the road - mainly over Andy - but they are coming together as a strong unit and they will stay that way. Daniel continues to surprise and delight, but of course he still has problems and things that need to be addressed. The fact is that Daniel and Rayn's story will never be smooth because things will be thrown up for the rest of their lives that will challenge both of them but they have such a strong foundation they will weather most storms.
