In our Writing Community Forum under Writing Workshops, there is a subforum called Writing Prompts. I tried a few. These are the results.

This is the first part of a two parter short story i wrote recently. The tale is based on a dream I had as a young man. Its set in the none to distant future, the world is in turmoil and the UK has been invaded.

Now he has come home to face the family that wanted nothing to do with him, because his mother has passed away. Tim's life has come full circle and now he has to deal with the ghosts of his past so he can move on to his future.
