Loss is always difficult to deal with, whether it is the loss of a friend, a lover or even a small furry companion. Sometimes putting the feelings into words helps confine them—so you can put them away into memories.

Edward II, King of England, laments the loss of a battle and the loss of his friend and beloved Piers Gaveston. Little epic in sonnet form.

Derek is struggling to overcome his grief and loneliness after the accident that killed his boyfriend. Alex is looking for a way to help his friend. Both of them go about it in completely the wrong way.

Barrett just wants to be a superhero, no matter what anyone else thinks. Even mean ole Gideon!
