Somesh was resigned, if not content, to live and die in the same place as his mother, working for meagre wages and whatever scraps of food he could squirrel away for himself. But after a fateful game of dice, he found himself whisked away to parts unknown.

Boone and Coy have built a damn good life in Larkspur, and feel on top of the world at being able to share such blessings with each other. The Old West has its challenges for men made like them, but everything is falling into place on their little piece of the frontier... until an unexpected visitor shows up out of the blue. Suddenly, their world is turned upside down as they struggle to help the troubled man.

What if you were a witness to a crime, but didn't know it? Once the crime is solved, does what you know matter? If you put a period at the end of the sentence, does that give you a final answer?

A re-interpretation of a Classic Fairy Tale:

Brad Brooks has become isolated, self-destructive, and beastly to others around him. Beau Cocteau is a petite and kindhearted gay college student with no family and few friends. A chance encounter one night will begin a tale as old as time.

The Boot three years on. There have been some changes and improvements to The Boot, partly thanks to fund raising and charitable donations, and in part thanks to Christian Edwards benefactor to The Boot. Some 'guests' have moved on, some remaining homeless, but others having been helped are now in independent accommodation either working or looking for work. This is the continued story of The Boot, it's staff and 'guests.'

It is not necessary to read The Boot beforehand but it may help to understand some of what is happening now and in its future.

Hunter has plans and reasons. Get the hell out of Park Terrace, power through college to get to New York City where he can be himself - because there is nothing and no one to tie him down, unless you could coming back to visit the parents. New York City would bring the romance he loves so much, maybe even one of those 'hate them at first sight and grudgingly learn to love them' type stories.

Corbin is going through the motions of life, drifting through an uninspiring relationship with his girlfriend, Leah and living in a small house with his parents and sister.

His overbearing father ridicules his passion for painting, and his sanity is saved each day by his rather unique Sister, Zoe, who he adores.

His parents then decide to sell their Fishmonger Business and head to the coast to buy a trawling business. As the move to Castlebay Down looms near Corbin has no enthusiasm to move there either. Homeless Adam wanders the dilapidated buildings for food and warmth in an abandoned street called Heidgate. Clearly ill, regularly sexually assaulted and in need of medical attention he waits each week for a charity bus to turn up so he can eat and get warm. One of the helpers, clearly concerned about his welfare takes an interest and pity in him. However the person is not who they appear to be. In fact, Adam is soon to find out, nothing is as it appears to be. Little will be known at first, but for both the helper and Adam? Time is running out!
